Agreed this new direction sucks. they effectively striped everything i loved about the original from the game. for what? to be cinematic? to give us over sized swords? down graded graphics? a freakin conversation wheel? i wanted to optimistic. i wanted to give it a chance, I wanted iit to be at least as good as the first one. but this just looks like a cash in.

Over sized swords? Like what the swords in Origins? Did people just mod everything out of that game and just run around talking to people?

have you seen the images its considerably fatter vs the mostly normal swords of the first game.  but thats not a big point for me:o

The sword is thicker but it looks more appropriate for the player model than the 2H sword did in Origins

Totaly agree, im very upset, though im still going to buy it, simply because its Dragon Age (at least its name is).

I'm on the boards quite often actually, but thank you for your concern.

There are a large number of people who wanted a VO, just like there are those that don't.  Those that wanted one now get one, what's the problem? You've had it your way for a long time now, let others have their turn. Or are you planning on taking your ball and going home?

its not the voice i care about,its the stupid wheel.BTW most people ive talked to prefer no voice.

I dont want a voice. the voiceing in this kind of game usually leads to less conversation options... wait i forgot we got the friggin wheel, the only thing lower than that would be no options.

If you are going to use text responses they better be not voiced or else you get some serious redundancy. The wheel system bypasses that issue.
