Here is the full plot of Dragon Age 2.
First 5 minutes of the game, Hawke and crew are traveling in a boat looking for holdouts of Darkspawn to kill, when suddenly a huge unknown boat with advanced magic weapons appears and destroys Hawke's boat. Hawke manages to get everyone else onto lifeboats but he himself drowns.
Fast forward 2 years, he was rescued by a splinter group of mages and dark magic was employed to resurrect him.
The Unknown Person who leads the splinter group asks Hawke to investigate towns who's entier populations dissapear.
Hawke gets a new boat and sets off on a quest to recruit a team to investigate.
A group called 'The Harvesters' are found to be responsible, they are working for the Dark Spawn.
Once the team is assembled, they set off in the boat to the Harvester's home island.
The Harvesters are harvesting humans for life energy to ressurect one of the dead dragon gods. Hawke stops them and uses a magic explosive to destroy the island. Some of the team dies in the attempt.
Stage set for Dragon Age 3.

Ah a joke that wasn't funny the first time is still not funny the 500th time.

I congratulate you on your lack of wit and originality.

People who think DA2 is anything like ME2 are stupid.

Actually, he escapes?!. So he jumped the ship before it sunk. Perhaps he is part of the Dragon Cult(Cerberus equivalent) or somehow gets associated with them. And has a dragon claw as his right hand? And we find out Flemeth has always been a part or an Ancient High Dragon being worshiped in the cult.

I give it an A for effort. An F for originality, though. These jokes have gotten old.

What's an entier? Or... are you working on a formula to determine the properties of equipment and spelling it phonetically?

1 tier 9

2 tier 25

3 tier 36

...

nth tier n+3^2

Meh, spelling fail, nice to see Bioware forums are full of the same people as WoW forums who will pounce due to a spelling error.

I would have pounced on the bull**** dragon effect comment, which fills me with the same feeling of joy as the equally well considered and accurate gears of effect comments, but everyone else had already done it. Besides, spelling is important when communicating in a text only medium, entier is actually a word y'see and... yeah, clear communication is easier when it's clear what you're saying.

That would be obvious if the tone was conveyed. Text doesn't have the capacity to convey tone of voice. Without that it just reads like another whiney comment that everything is ruined forever.
I apologise for misunderstanding you however.

:( Last thing I wanted to do was ****** off fellow Bioware fans.
I've been looking through the other threads and I see now how it could be taken as a jibe against Bioware in the current climate of forum posts.

Ha ha ha ha ha interesting take on ME2.....uh I mean DA2's plot thanks. I do have an issue with the end though I think I'd actually be good enough to keep my entire team alive during the suicide onslaught lol.

Hmm, we need an option to destroy the Harvester's home island in the end, against the will of the Dragon Cult's mage leader who wishes to take over the island and take hold of its dark powers wahAHAHa....
