Fail box sales = care. 12 year old console kids dont count for true gamers. True gamers have and will always stay loyal to the PC.

Precisely which independant body without bias arbitrated your True Gamer status.

I am a True Gentleman, in my mind....

Please do not insult other forum members based on which platform they prefer. It does not matter whether you like consoles or the PC, we are all gamers.

Please stick to the topic.

If you want a "traditional" RPG, there are tons out there to choose from. Not every game has to be Final Fantasy 7, and there are lots of gamers who like variety in gameplay.

I just read another thread and had a terrible thought, could Bioware have planned this all along?

Let me xplain...

The fanbase for action/adveture rpg out here are much much larger then the one I belong to, traditional rpgs..

Since many of those who are like me who didnt play Bioware action adventure games like Mass effect could DAO been a way to get us in line?

I realize we dont have much info yet but still the little info thats out there seems to be making DA2 into a more action adventure rpg and away from the traditional rpgs...

Is it possible?

YES, it was all some machination by the evil wizards at BioWare to lure you in (I mean you, specifically) and indoctrinate you completely... DAO, 5 years in the making, a conspiracy to attract "traditional rpgs"... Get over yourself, will you?...

"QA analyst Bruce Venne played 1,957.55 hours of Dragon Age PC in 5,352 games."

"At the end of each month, an Achievement called ‘The Bruce’ would be awarded to people who played more hours than Bruce Venne that month. It was awarded only once."

Bruce Venne? By the Stone, I barely recognized you!

Mass effect sold better therefore DA2 will be mass effect with swords

Wrong. DA:O out sold ME2 by a lot and nearly out sold ME1 and 2 combined. Infact the Dragon Age: Deluxe Edition alone outsold ME2.

That's only the Xbox sales.

Anyone who had the option to bought Dragon Age on the PC.

That's assuming that anyone has a computer has a graphics card that is capable of running it.

Some people like upgrading their PCs to double as a gaming machine, some like to keep PC and console separate. That's why it's still valid to compare sales across one platform - especially one that can be easily tracked through retail purchases.

I'm quite sure that "DA2 = not Warden's story" in planned all along.

The others I dunno.

In fact Bioware has planned this all along.

DAO was a franchise starter. Which is why it had such an inconclusive finale with many loose ends.

The only thing that should be considered is the sequel is slated for 8 months from now. This may lead to a rushed product.
