I would like to see Bioware give a bonus in DA2 to everyone that completed all achievements honestly like I have been doing on the 360.It takes alot of gameplay and time to complete this and people who do should be rewarded and the people who cheat or use codes like on the PC version should get nothing. The achievements are put there to improve your gamer score and for the challenge of completing them and that is why I think Bioware should reward anyone no matter which version played for completing this long and sometimes hard challenge. For those people who are just starting out or have only been playing for a short time if you play on the console version you will see that you will earn achievements that will be applied to your Bioware account not the console version because completing all achievements also includes the remaining from the PC version and thats where the challenge comes in.Thats why I think bioware should reward people who complete this with something really good to carry over [money] or something exclusive to achievement compteters in DA2.

how about a pat on the back instead? I played a lot of rpgs and no one give me a thing! *cries*

....I got it! you get all the achievements in DA2 and a bioware employee breaks down your door and gives you a hug...doesn't say a word...just walks away. :) just joking or am I? well it will be nice to get some gold but not to much so it won't be that easy.

How about the icons for the achievements are unlocked as heraldry you can apply to shields or armour?

I"m not looking for a pat on the back and I am not talking about playing rpg's from the past.I have played several over the past 20 years,I'm talking about the present day where companies try charging for any and everything and maybe Bioware could cough up something for free to those people who play a game completely start to finish. That's not crying that's trying to save a dollar or five.

Why would achievements give anything (shame, in ME1 they actually did and they were worth the effort)?

If this is true then isn't the reward for Achievements... I dunno... improving your gamer score and the challenge of completing them?

You're essentially asking to get a medal for getting a medal.

Yes it is but you are missing my point.I would like to get something for free from Bioware/EA before they start bleeding us dry when DA2 comes out with all new dlc or addons or content you can only get if you reserve at this store or buy a t-shirt at that store like they did with DAO items or extra content.

Yes, I have 100% of trophies on PS3 for Dragon Age. A neat in-game sword, or 11-tier beard (Super-Wizard) will be nice.

I remember, trophies for Uncharted Drake Fortune unlock a sizable in-game money reward in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.

Personally, I think that is silly. If free things are offered, they should be offered to everyone who paid for the game.

I have played the game countless times over and over. I never have tried to fulfill an achievement because I couldn't care less about them. Who is to say that someone like me hasn't played the game more than an achievement focused player? Or perhaps someone like me has contributed more to the community either resolving problems online or contributing to the modding community. Or maybe someone like me has mods that have made things even more difficult and has completed many more challenging scenarios because of it. Why should someone be rewarded because they opted to fulfill an achievement versus someone who would rather play to satisfy their own goals? Bioware/EA would essentially be punishing players who do not want to play the game for scoring achievements.

As mentioned by Cutlass Jack, your achievements improve your gamer score which is their purpose.

The purpose of achievements is to encourage players to seek out content in games (For example The Origins Achievements encourage people to play ALL the Origins, and the Important Story Decision ones encourage repeat playthroughs etc) and to give players a little nod when they do something cool or otherwise "achieve" something of significant in the game. (Like reaching the level cap, specializing, or romances)

There's no reason you should get anything for having the achievements, they're not there to be prestigious. (Although some people seem to think of them as such) Just consider getting all of the achievements its own reward yes?

It's not silly or a punishment. All I was saying was I have chosen to complete all achievements and others have not.I think of this sort of like a sidequest even though it is not in the game and it would be nice if Bioware/EA gave something for this.If someone decides they don't care or don't want to complete the achievement list that is there choice.Remember if you complete whatever a game requires to complete and you get a reward for this you deserve it and if you choose not to complete whatever than you don't deserve it.This was only a wish list thing because we all know this would never happen.

You got bonuses in ME 1 and 2

I like bonuses

You should get bonuses in DA 2

Since this system is across platform

Bonuses could be implemented in all platforms

Or how about paying for a DLC with the "points" you get from your achievements? You know, "Killed 500 Darkspawn", "Completed the Human Origins", that sort of thing. I think it would be a lot more.... worth it? =/

Do you seriously any game developer would do such a thing? What do they get out of it? Gratitude? You can't live off of gratitude you know. :wizard:

You're in luck! You can get the Signature Edition for no extra charge -- the Signature Edition perks coming for free, if you will -- if you pre-order before January 11. For more information, please check out the Signature Edition page here: http://dragonage.bio...a2/info/order/ , or see this thread: social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/260/index/5027014/1#5027014
