Martial: Leaping Tiger
Support : Storm Dragon
Magic: Tempest
Weapon: Dual Sabers (forget what they call it)
Transformation: didn't like any of these

But I also see some styles mentioned above I haven't seen. Hopefully I will find those.

out of all the transformations I think the horse demon did the most damage, but the stone golem was pretty much like using the sword style weapon class only with more endurability.

Martial: White Demon

Yes, it's slow, but the huge amount of damage and the big range more than make up for it. And if you string together White Demon and Leopard Fist - 3 kicks, 3 punches, 3 kicks, and so on - you can stagger your opponent indefinitely. These two styles combined are almost a cheat mode. But then again, there are so many cheat modes in this game...

Support: Spirit Thief

Obviously. B)

Magic: Stone Immortal

I don't use magic much, but Stone Immortal is the best. Not only is it ridiculously fast, but once you're truly and completely Open Palm it also does huge amounts of damage.

Weapon: Not sure, Death Hand, I guess...

Weapons are okay, but they don't rock as much as Martial styles. <_<

Transformation: Fox Demon

Fox Demon is like a supercharged Martial style. Sure, you cannot dodge and cannot heal, but who cares, when it's so easy to knock your enemies to the ground? And maybe it doesn't count for anything, but Fox Demon is definitely the most elegant style in the game. It's almost like watching a ballet - albeit a deadly one. :innocent:

Martial: Legendary Strike. It's just the most aesthetically pleasing to me. :)

Weapon: Longsword. I actually wish we could learn the dual-wield style used by Death's Hand (it's different from the Twin Sabre style).

Support: Storm Dragon, followed closely by Spirit Thief.

Magic: Stone Immortal. Immobilising your opponent is always good, and the damage bonus from being highly Open Palm works nicely.

Transformation: Jade Golem. For when you just want to SMASH everything in your way. XD

Thousand cuts. I know it isnt very powerful compared to other styles, but I love to use it with tempest, which is very fast too, so they can't even move back or even defend themselves. White demon guys can't even get to see me before they fall down. B)

In my only playthrough, I used lots of Leaping Tiger and Staff, followed by Spirit thief with occasional use of Ice Shard, Stone Immortal and Dire Flame. I used the Horse and Golem Transformation styles about twice throughout the whole game.

I felt tempted to use Legendary Strike more often but I enjoyed the quick-paced combat too much.

Legendary Strike was practical and deadly, but it just didn't look good. I still loved it, but no flair to it. Favorite style for looks was Flame burst or whatever. Though the area attack sucked...

Used to go Leaping Tiger / Stone Immortal / Longsword / Spirit Thief / Paralysing Palm / Jade Golem ...

Just replayed JE again and this time I decided to try Iron Palm (using unenhanced Leaping Tiger as needed when facing ghosts in early game) , fighting through the arena on the back of Longsword & Stone Immortal with a bit of Spirit Thief.

Finishing with Iron Palm / Stone Immortal / Longsword / Spirit Thief, ignoring Paralysing Palm & Jade Golem despite being available. Some of the tougher fights were more fun without using them.

After being used to LT's relatively low damage, IP is powerful yet retains some mobility, especially with its power attack (was it headbutt or shoulder ram?) though it looks a little farfetched since I used Scholar Ling - It looks rather silly so see her chain-headbutting some poor sod across half the battlefield!

I enjoyed using Spirit Thief with a Chi Strike White Demon build. I'd use storm dragon to stun, then switch to Chi Strike White Demon and deal some major damage. I'd use tempest to keep everyone in place if need be.

Martial: Legendary Strike
Support: Spirit Thief & Storm Dragon
Magic: Ice Shard & Stone Immortal
Weapon: Fortune's favored
Transform: Jade Golem

I did not like Leaping Tiger or White Demon, because they visuality (animation), not because they usefulness. Weapons did not matter much, all swords worked well, so I choose for visuality. All magic was very weak, but I used Ice Shards strong attacks to freeze. I started to use little bit Stone Immortal's base attacks, what was alot stronger than Ice Shards. Ice Shards base attacks where like throwing snowballs, they did nothing, good way to empty your own chi energy. Support skills where, immmune again, gah. Spirit Thief was very usefull agaist spirits and Storm Dragon AoE + Martial strong attack was super powerfull agaist normal enemies, because could stay "focus mode" the hole battle.

It depense little bit enemy and situation what skills I did choose.

Spirit:

I open battle by going "focus mode" if there is range attacker spirit, cast Ice Shard stong attack to freeze some range caster spirit. Then I jump closer fast and drop out from "focus mode". I start using martial attacks. Now when frozen ends I just jump out and back, hit again ones. Jump out and back again, hit again. If my health starts droping, because some other spirit doing range attacks. I drop to "focus mode" and froze it, then back to normal mode and "stone immortal" base attack to kill one of them. If there is only one spirit left, I stop my attacks and change to "Spirit Thief". Filling my health and chi, before I kill the last one, so that I'm ready for next group.

Demons:

Rat demons, I just kill with swords without any speciality, they aren't that hard. Other demons, I drop to "focus mode" and kill them with continus sword attacks, because I'm gonna burn my focus real fast here.

Humans (normal):

Depense little bit situation, but often I just hit them with sword, if there isn't too many of them. No point to do anything special. If there is more of them or they are little harder, then I start with "focus mode" and jump middle of them, hit "Storm Dragon" AoE to get one of them tagged. Switch to martial strong attack for tagged targed and kill it with one hit to get "focus ball". Then repeat this to everyone else while staying hole battle in focus mode. If you do it right you end full focus after the fight, all enemies dead and enemy did no damage at all to you.

Boss enemies

"Focus mode", jump closer, turn to "Jade Golem" and start hitting it while in focus mode. If i don't yet have "Jade Golem" form, then I use sword.

Basicly melee enemies doesn't need "focus mode" unless you just want to kill faster. Melee enemies can allways be killed by just jumping top of enemy (stagging) and do one hit, then jump out and back again. Continue doing it and enemy will be allways dead, doesn't much matter how strong enemy is, because if it get "stagged" when jumping top of it, it can't do any damage to you. if you do the out and back jumps faster enough, enemy has no time to do any actions between jumps.

Martial: Legendary Strike - because like I say, you can't go wrong with Bruce Lee

Weapon: Depends on which character I'm using

Magic: Again depends on character but leaning towards Ice Shard

Support: Storm Dragon

Transformation: Jade Golem because it's ****** broken.

Storm dragon and white demon are pretty good. Storm dragon is totally overpowered. It keeps an enemy in perpetual stun while you beat them with any martial style. White demon is quite slow but strong.

Favorite magic style is tempest.
