It works just fine with the Steam install using the install instructions Skywing has provided in the zip, I have a Steam install.

Ah, I wasn't sure because I didn't see a mention of Steam in the readme.

When I run NWLauncher.exe, I get an error message titled "Steam Error" that says "Application load error 5:0000065434" (screenshot: i.imgur.com/zfG4BFA.png)

I've done a bit of searching, but I haven't been able to find anyone else who had the same issue.

I have tried using the second method mentioned in the readme, and it doesn't work either.
Has anyone else had issues getting it to work with Steam?

hi Skywing.

 

i already have installed the game (as it was explained) and the latest version  of the client extension (as well)

No reject from Key

I am loged into Bioware and Game Spy

I am on the Server selection

but i can not acess to the server list ( any server name appears)

Even with the button refresh servers.

No error message just in the client console :

FAILED TO INVOKE    NWN.ClientExtention.ClientExtentionInterface.InitializeClientExtensionInterface<>  Server browser and auto update will  not be avaible

 

Please i need your help =)

Hi, ever since the update was released I've been having trouble connecting to GameSpy. I haven't updated to the new version because I use the crossover emulator on a macbook pro to play nwn2, and it wont update automatically, and when I try to download it manually I get an error:

 

401 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to invalid credentials. You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied.

 

the link to http://ce-update.mst...ds.com/CE/Vault also doesn't work for me. Any way you could post it somewhere I could access or just email it to me? I'd appreciate it!

Thanks to this project my copy of NWN2 is no longer CTD in travel, due to the metamagic travel bug.

 

Initially attempting to launch the CE, I got the 267 error, which iMoons first reported in post 50, which is on page 2 of this thread.

The solve for it is on page 3, post 59, by SkywingvL. Missing Path entry in the registry for NWN2.

I'm running GOG NWN2 Complete, in Win7 32bit Home Premium. My install had the Location entry in the Registry, but not the Path entry. Manually created that entry in the Registry, and I was good to go.
