Hi, I'm new to this whole lithograph thing. I recent bought the Wards litho and I wanted to frame it. I was wondering if anyone had any recomendations for specific frames. I also skimmed someone saying something about fading lithos and was wondering if i should worry or deal with that in some way.

I've been to Michaels and a few specific hobby stores around. Go check out Michael though. Depending what kind of frame you get, it might be pricey. I've yet to get one.

I think the simpler the frame, the better. I put mine in a nice wood frame with a 1.5" black border. Personally, I like the thicker frames 1.5 - 2" much better than the thinner frames.
This is what my litho looks like framed: http://bit.ly/dy40II
You could probably find something nice online, but when picking out a frame, I would recommend going to a local art supply store and looking at the options. I bought two a few days ago, but had to go through several to find two without any small cracks or blemishes.

@dbond -- Does that frame have a glass or acrylic front?

I think the fading is only an issue if you put them in a room with a lot of light. There are pH issues as well, but most frames and materials for frames come pH neutral these days.

@Tyrulz. heres 2 post talking about glass and such before: Link
i say, if you really want to preserve the piece for years and years to come, invest in matte/proper glass frame. I probably won't because of my budget, might get it matte and change the frames later.

The Citadel frame is a bit different, maybe you can see the bevels in the frame. The others are just plain wood
