KotOR I & II remakes would be sweet, with the addition of new content and voiced PC dialogue. Then after that, they could make a true KotOR III that retcons TOR and Drew's Revan novel.

I think Dragon Age 2 did pretty good with voiced dialogue, I'm not a fan of the Mass Effect dialogue though. Sometimes I'll choose something and something totally else is said from what I intended.

Yeah, the dialogue wheel is crap. Better to actually see what you're saying, so you aren't mislead.

Dialogue wheel is fine and Personally I want a balance of Silent and Voiced Protag in Bioware games. Some of us like Silent over voiced and others like voiced over silent.

No matter what happens, A good Kotor 1 Remake would be Nice. As much as I love my ideas and other people has good ideas as well, Kotor 1 Remake should be a good balance of attracting new players and Veterans.

Yeah why not? As long as the character was interesting I'm game for new areas to explore!

I do have a few characters that people might  like.  And I would love to see Deadeye Duncan some loving after Taris. Remember Slehyron, Well Just curious, what if there was a massive galatic mortal kombat style tournament to get a massives amount of credits there if you live through it. Revan and Deadeye Duncan just goes to town with the fighters.

Seviole, One of Revan's old padawans turned Sith, opens Rakata Tattioone Temple to rescue a Powerful Matukai Adept from the Krath, Opens Slehyron up, and a new questline of Slehyron. Work with Seviole to find Sith Traitors inorder to help defeat Malak. In turn opens up several new planets. With both Sith that Favors Revan's ideals and Czerka, you can sabotage Malak's Sith Empire. Gaining her trust is important. IF completed, There would be a Order 66 style cutscene, where Sith betray their Malak Supporting Allies.

On Slehyron and Just to play up the Taris Duelists are Elite Duelists and given if Revan completes that sidequest, he can show the Taris Champship token and have Deadeye Duncan confirms it.

On Dantioone, I would love to see Master Vandar to kick a lot of ass with his Twin Green Short Lightsaber and his Mastery of Ataru during the Battle of Dantioone. If complete the Matukai Adept Rescue, Chuma will help Vandar a great deal.


For ****s and giggle, to make the player paranoid. The Player finds a File within the Republic finds an Assassination Order on Revan that is still active within the Republic Embassy at Manaan. You can have it delete but No matter what you do, it will open a new darker side quest involving the Republic.

2 question:

What new Elite classes do you want to see?

I mean you get to unlock them. For example, if you play through 1 playthru with a Elite class by doing its sidequest. Aka Unlocking Jedi Shadow, it will be under Scout Menu in the second game play through. Under Scout "class" Menu, you can potential get Jedi Sentinel as well as the Jedi Shadow.

What new sidequest do you want to see?

I would love to see a Knights of the Old Republic remake, and I personally would love to see Knights of the Old Republic 2, the Sith Lords remade, this time with a complete endng without anything cut. But Bioware would have to get buy the rights from Obisidion to do that.

Yeah, I think official additional content with it would be the way to go if they remade it, maybe we'd get the sixth planet that was cut from the game (I forget the name of it, but it was supposed to be one of the death giving planets).

SaulWolfDen, Kotor Remade should be attractive to veterans and new players. New Content is always a good idea but too much new content can take away is a bad idea.

Also I would love Kotor 2 remake as well.


Personally I would love a full Kotor Trilogy with some fan suggestions.

Well Idea. Dialogue only.

A key locations per planet, starting at Taris, Revan while stunned, makes a comment that he remembers that location/planet vaguely. it will build up to The Revelation scene where Revan actually remembers whom he was and states his motivation in why he is helping the Jedi if he is not brainwashed by the Jedi Council. Also other than dialogue at key locations all planets up to the Star Forge, all of the lines we are familar with in the original game will still be in the Remake.

Brainwashed and Loyal to the Jedi Council, or Anmesia and slowly remembering his past and choosing his own reasons for dark or light side of the force should be options for all players.

kotor 1 and 2 remake would be awasome, I started playing bioware games because of them.having the joy of playing my favourite game in on my xbox 360 is in comparable. Even though the graphics in them games arent bad and I still have them having them in mass effect graphics would be cool

to Axalon, it is alright to post your ideas if you want. If there is an idea from another poster, it is alright to comment on it. Find ways to improve it.


No Matter what, Kotor 1 and 2 Remake should be respectful to the original games so the veterans would enjoy it a great deal. I do believe that Achievements and newer content should be a must.

With the news that EA and Bioware will make future Star Wars games, a potential remake of Knights of the Old Republic is in play. You ask me, it sounds an easy way to make a great first Star Wars game for the next-gen systems

Honestly I would prefer a patch for the PC version that will let me play it with the videos enabled on the newer rigs.

Sure there are workarounds but I could never get them to work and it irks me to no end.

Well KOTOR is now ported to the iPad and it's a really good port IMO. Maybe this is just a first step or test to see if people are still interested in these two amazing games. I bought a copy even though I don't own an iPad but guess who's about to get one now! Bioware, take this cue to update the graphics of this game, maybe add a few extra things and re release it on more platforms. I'm really praying to see it come to the PS Vita.

I suppose a reboot of 1 & 2 could work Kotor itself is actually pretty much good as is minus some polishing, What they would need to do is make sure to put everything from the restored content mod in-game. (Yes I know TSL is an Obsidian game but just go with it)


(Seriously if any of you folks own The Sith Lords for PC you need to pick up the restored content mod, it's brilliant.)

With the recent announcement of Fable's 1 remake + the Lost Chapters, would it ever be in the realm of possibilities to see a remake of KOTOR 1/2( w mods) or a remake of the Jade Empire. because that would just be perfect. And with Final Fantasy X's HD remake as well, it appears that many companies are wanting to bring back the biggest hits on previous consoles. KOTOR definitely was that for the XBOX.
