I loved the whip from SoU. Did anyone ever make one for NWN2?
Did anyone ever port whips into this game?

To my knowledge nobody has done so yet.

Not sure if its possible really
considering that I dont think a weapon can have an animation attached to it like you could in NWN1 since the animations are separate files not incorporated into the model file.
In NWN1 if you gave a weapon say an idle animation with an identical name to the one used by a full animation model (player races and the like) it would play that idle animation at the same time as the Character model holding that weapon. it was a neat aspect, since you could make weapons that unfolded or vanished, came to life quite effectivly ( some animations didnt cross over however but most of them did). One thing i did but never released where weapons that started glowing during combat swings, or would glow brighter when you swung them.
As far as I know you cant do that in NWN2... i might be very wrong however, and im not to sure how to go about testing it, since I haven't done much with animating in NWN2 yet. I guess if you exported an animation and got the file name setup right it might work, but since weapon part file names and model animation file names need to be fairly strict they would clash, I dont think it'll work due to that.
