Good afternoon everyone,
I have checked this forum and other forums regarding the PS3 Dragon Age Origins malfunctioning regrading trophy support. This primarily includes the "Blight Queller" trophy. While users have come to the solution of deleting the "Game Data" and of the information that it includes (patches etc.), I was wondering whether there was a more graceful resolution to this technical issue.

I just got off a Live Chat technical support with a very nice gentleman and he requested that I bring up my concerns here for "In-Game" experts to help.

Here is the underlying issue: This is not an "in-game" issue, it is a technical issue. As I wrote in the chat which yielded no direct answer:
"webkit-fake-url://65CF2378-6C68-4E29-A5B0-DB389B232BE3/Message.gif :Ah, this issue has been brought up and deleting the Game Data and all of it's patches are the only solution. That sounds like a technical issue since a "technical factor of the game" that has been advertised to work is not and requires a "technical" solution where one has to exit gameplay and alter existing background data which the player has no input onwebkit-fake-url://65CF2378-6C68-4E29-A5B0-DB389B232BE3/Message.gif : Sorry for the technical language but the point of view that this is an in-game issue and not a technical one is false using strict logic, am I not correct?"

My request, is not for other users to post how they managed to get around this issue, or what my characters across multiple play-throughs have accomplished, but someone with the correct title, expertise, and sense of professional liability to either give a graceful technical solution, if one is available. If one is not available, admitting as such is just as fair and acceptable for this is just a video game and nothing that requires dire action.

I love Bioware and all the work that they have accomplished over the last decade and will continue to spend my free time using their products in the near future, and this technical issue (not an in-game issue) should have a satisfactory settlement due to the quality of service and product from Bioware based on their great work in the past.

Thank you.

Just a small update (I shall post this on the other appropriate forum as well), deleting the Game Data and playing offline does indeed allow the Blight Queller trophy to work in time.

Thank you all of the users online for trouble shooting this issue and resolving this technical matter in an unconventional & cunning manner.
