Progression and Strategies for a 2H Warrior Solo Nightmare Playthrough

It's gotten easier with Blood Dragon Plate set.
The build is basically All STR so far. I am considering Dexterity but I'm still not sure.
Dwarf Noble, Champion... Still undecided on the third spec.
So far I've taken Sunder Arms, Pommel Strike-> Critical Strike, Mighty Blow, Powerful Swings, Two-handed Strength.
Going for sweep now.
I've only taken the first passive in the warrior line and I havn't touched Precise striking. (I have fairly low stamina, so just Indomitable for now)
Now I need a much better weapon. I am considering going to Orzammar now that I have Blood Dragon, I could grab Ageless and Key to the City without doing A Paragon of Her Kind.
Then I would probable do Honnleath for the helm and ring
I am considering Reaver spec, so I would want to do The Urn of Sacred ashes before 14. HOWEVER, I need to complete 2 treaties first for the +2 all stats book. from the Vendor in Haven
So after Honnleath I would do Circle Tower and and then I could do Paragon or Nature of the Beast... Which of these would be best?
Any suggestions for a final gear set?
Would like to hit 100% Spirit resistance but Knight Commander's should NOT be neccesary and is not worth taking a mediocre spec imo. I can make Reaver work.
Any advice would be helpful, thanks.

Though from what you stated you havent unlocked reaver yet in a previus game it seems and that may make things more difficult. Devour+Frightening Appearence are incredibly useful.

Champion/Reaver is the optimal two hand solo build ive seen on the boards. Put all your points into Str with some occasionaly into Will as Elhanan would suggest. If you can go straight for Starfang instead of Ageless.

Correct, I just never wanted to lose the approval, I should have done it anyway.
I can't get starfang, I don't have Warden's Keep.
Any suggestions for stacking spirit resistance? (And what I meant was 100% possible, so 75%)

I like using Evons mail & Wade's Superior heavy mail combo for my final armor set. There is a helm available in the final battle within the Denerim Market District which offers 75% Spirit resistance; another nice perk for this armor set which does not require a helm to complete it.
I dislike Reaver myself, and prefer Berserker or Templar, though the latter is better dressed in magic resistance platemail.

Or make your own.
Swift salve grants the user +20% movement speed, +20% attack speed and
+10% aiming speed for 1 minute.
Swift Salve stacks with Blood Thirst too.
Blood Thirst grants a bonus of +25% DPS increase
(melee only) and of +10% melee and ranged critical chance. It also
increases movement speed. While activated, it drains -12 health every 2 s. Talent upkeep cost is 30
stamina.

Uldred was a fun fight. As long as I put the damage to him hard he went down before I did. Just used stamina for Sunder Arms and War Cry and Kited him when necessary.
The AI uses crushing prison on an *assumed* random spell cycle timer so I couldn't figure out a way around it. I popped a spirit balm and ended up eating one prison throughout the whole fight which didn't kill me.
Now, I sided with Templars, Irving is dead, Can I still get the Greater Tome of the Mortal Vessel in Haven? Or do I have to save both Isolde AND Connor

There's no such tome. I don't recommend planning your game around something that doesn't exist.Serob77 wrote...

Are you sure of this? many have cited it and perhaps for different versions.

Many are citing it because the Strategy guide erroneously mentions it, and from there the rumors spread. But unfortunately, it doesn't appear in the game.many have cited it and perhaps for different versions.
Has it been confirmed?
But don't take my word for it. Go and search for it.
