Okay I'm gonna start ME1 in a couple days and I had a few questions. Can I get to level 60 in 3 playthroughs (new xbox account so nothing unlocked achievement wise) 1st playthrough doing everything/getting to level 50 and the next 2 just main quests? Basically I want to know if its possible or should I just do one of the experience glitches after my first playthrough? Also I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but I hope so. Thanks for any help!

So your saying after getting level 50 just doing the main quests will get me to level 60 in 2 playthroughs? just wondering because after doing EVERYTHING once I don't want to do it again....lol

Easily. It's perfectly possible to reach Level 60 in two playthrough's, too, but with a little more effort.

yeah but I'm kindda lazy I'd prefer to speed through the game than do everything again I have no DLC's though would that be a problem at all?

DLC helps, but certainly not required. I'm pretty sure I had reached Level 60 with my main Shepard before the first DLC was released.PlumPaul82393 wrote...

No idea, but my very first playthrough was just that, playing through the main quest. I reached Level 40. However, I did do some sidemissions, but very few.

. But I really hope that I don't get stuck like at level 59 with a few thousand left to go lol. That would REALLY suck! Also I was saying 2 playthroughs after level 50.

true but I'm just trying to get a sense on if its necessary to do the extra stuff either way won't know until I do it.

If I were to hazard a guess, I'm thinking you may be short of the required XP to get to level 60 in three runs if you only do the 5 main quests each time (Noveria, Feros, Therum, Virmire, Ilos). Just be prepared to need a 4th run just in case.
Recall that your gained XP increases with your level and you won't level up nearly as fast while only doing the main quests. Also recall that the jump from level 59 to level 60 is more than 400,000 XP.

Yeah I probably will just do 4 playthroughs the 1st three pointless and the 4th being the one I import to ME2, also this isn't related but I've always wondered this you know how ME1 auto saved after you beat the game meaning you didn't have to keep anything saved it was always there to import to ME2. I've noticed that ME2 is different you actually have to keep saved games to actually replay the game even though you beat the game. Does that mean no information will be saved for ME3 if you deleted your game saves?

Not to be a fun killer but there is a exp glitch you could use on your 2nd play through to ensure you get to 60, if it means that much to you that is. All aside do all side quests and you'll easily hit 60 in 2 playthroughs.

yeah I said that in my original post if I used that to get to like level 56 (the glitch on therum) I'd have to think that I'd reach 60 by at the very least my 3rd playthrough.. Doing the exp glitches don't mess up ME2 importing though right?

Nah it doesn't, the thing is though if you have never finished ME1 before you can only get level 50/55 in one playthrough then it unlocks level 60. I used it a couple of times to ensure i get 60 (:

Yeah I know sadly I had to make a new Xbox gamertag and right now I have 0 gamerpoints lol. But when I get enough money to get it i'll buy ME1 from the marketplace. I've beaten it before but this would be the first time on my new account.
