I doubt that. I'd rather have Obsidian make it.

Just ment that from a narrative perspective there isn't much they can ruin or undermine if there isn't a connected plot or narrative. Brand new story would be the way to go IMO.

Obsidian's work tends to be a bit buggy. Alpha Protocol, Kotor 2 was a but underwhelming as well though that was more the fault of Lucas Art pushing the deadline.

I've been a fan of BioWare games for as long as I can remember and have played games like ME 1-3, DA1-2 Kotor and Tor. But once I aquired Jade Empire and played it on my Xbox 360 then got the Special Edition for PC I was amazed at how Awesome it really was with Interesting story, Amazing setting and Excellent gameplay.

It really was just as good as the ME and DA series with a razor sharp edge that made it totally unique and a Prime example of BioWare story telling genius. This game really stands out in the crowd of BioWare titles so you can count my support in the requst of a sequel.

Jade Empire is a truly magnificent game and I personally think it is a crime against the natural order of things that it is in a section at the bottom of the front page labelled "other".

Not only does it deserve its own section, but a sequel as well. It's hard to go wrong with such a pure, beautiful concept.

It is unbelievaable that sequel of Jade Empire isn't even in works, but as current gen is at it's nigh, if we are to see it come, it will be on next gen. Personally, I'd like JE with upraded graphics, and then sequel.

actually they said they would like to do a sequel but just havent found the time a sequel will eventually be made the question is which platform will it come out for 360 or next gen console

Playing Jade Empire for the first time is equivalent to the first time I played Dragon Age Origins and the first and true Mass Effect. I am enjoying it more than KOTOR. At the time of writing this I have only played the game for a week now and I would be willing to pay $60 dollars for a sequel. Bioware please say you have the story for this brewing on a back burner so that if you start on it I wont have to wait three to four years for proper maturation. But also know that if you have not been preparing the sequel for a long time in advance than I will take any release date that is less than three years later to be a sign of a bad game.

Easily my favorite game of all the Bioware games, and that's saying a lot given their track record of arguably some of the greatest games ever created. JE2 tops the list of my most wanted games and has ever since I finished Jade Empire the very first time. I really hope Bioware returns to this game/world.

As a matter of fact, I'm going to go play it again.

Jade Empire 2 will be the next big thing. Even though Bioware claimed that they wouldn't make a sequel at first, they will probably do now and that's a great thing for me because in this way they will only show that they care about their fans.
Jade Empire 2 or possibly an MMO aka Jade Empire Online will definitely rock the world of gamers. Maybe something interesting can be developed for Play Station 4 as well.

Jade Empire is coming I am telling you, I can feel. It's just too obvious not to happen.

I am officially going to ask the world if they want a Jade Empire sequel. Thus I am starting a Fan Site and a FB Page. I'll update when project is completed.

The announcement of a new Jade Empire game would instantly make me optimistic for Bioware again. Just as long as they remember to read the Journey to the West, watch Red Cliff, and play Qin: The Warring States, and the original Jade Empire.
