I'm playing Dragon Age 2...the streamlined action RPG-ness, beautiful scenary and music reminded me of JE.

So while you're in the mood Bioware, nows the perfect time to make JE2

Actually Shenmue did get a sequel. Its on the original Xbox. I heard it was an ok game. Here is you don't believe me.

I completely agree with you. Its time for the sequel to one of the best games they ever made. With all the things they have learned over the years. Them not making a new Jade Empire game is just a waist. I think the way they handled DA 2 would work really well with a new JE game.

I'm also playing DA II and there are some things that would work really well with JE2. I just hope that if there ever comes a sequel, they would not fix what is not broken. Original Jade had great level up system and in my opinion far better controls, combat, animations etc. So if there ever comes JE2, I hope the progress would be more cautious evolution rather than revolution. You know: a bit upgraded graphics but with same visual style, a bit more open world, a bit more customization options...

I also was playing DA2 last night and wishing DA2 was JE2. Still my favorite BioWare game. Updated graphics, character customization and possible prequel setting and JE2 would be out there getting high reviews and not torn apart like DA2.

Jade Empire was very unique in its setting and story. A nice pull away from the D&D setting. I have given up hope on us ever seeing another JE. Best hope at this point is someone like Obsidian pick up the ball and runs with it.

I hate to say this, but I'm still on the pull for a JE2 coming. I have a feeling after all the reviews people have been giving Bioware about DA2 they may have a change of heart and decided to go and pull JE out of the vault and give it a shot. I've just got this gut feeling telling me something is in the works when it comes to JE2.

i got jade amour on dragon age legends hopeful they will make a dlc for dragons age 2. come on bioware jade empire 2 if the duke nukem is come back then why not jade empire 2.

Accordingly to the above article I provided the link to, the devs do think about it from time to time. Whether they'll ever actually do anything about it is another matter.

I sure would love to see JE2. JE is the bioware game that made me decide to buy every game they make. Love JE if they don't make a squeal I will be very sad.

They should annouce it while people are still talking about it. If they delay the game further, more and more will lose interest.

JE2 ?? dont hold your breath on that. Since BW has become a division of EA , youll more likely see
DA5 and ME5 before that (if ever) happens.

I'll add my voice to the choir. I was imagining how awesome the game would look with today's graphics and how much more they can do. The world of JE has a lot more to offer and I'd love to see it expanded.

I really want a JE sequel. If they took the fighting system from Batman Arkham Asylum/City, and used that in a more Kung-Fu focused way, with RPG elements on top of it I think that'd be the perfect system for fighting in JE2.

Yes, please, BioWare! Next to KoTOR, JE was my favorite game. Personally, it might be the only BW game I'd ever pre-order again.
