I just played this game and I really liked it. I would love for more games like this one.

The first one was fantastic and it had some really interesting ideas. Plus I believe the morality questions of open palm and closed fist was a much better gauge then simply good and evil. In many ways it became the system for Mass Effects paragon and renegade.
It was also nice to play a game that used something other than western mythology. Dragon age is very much based in the western orks, elves and dwarfs and to a lesser extent so is mass effect based on western sci-fi ideas. So much for multiculturalism.

I would love to see a sequel or prequel. Either one, I just want another Rpg set in this universe

I would love a new Jade Empire. I would definitely buy it. The game had fun combat, good dialogue and roleplaying. And most of all, an interesting and exotic IP.

I too would like to see a sequel. This game's universe had so much potential. To bad it was left on the back burner.

God I hope Jade Empire 2 doesn't end up being another Beyond Good and Evil 2. You know, a game everyone wants but the developers just sit on it because they think they can make a gazillion more dollars with some new IP. Sure Jade Empire wasn't perfect, but neither is either of the two Dragon Age games that came out and I think in comparison Jade Empire is superior for it's time. A new Jade Empire game would look gorgeous on a PS3 and the chance to delve into more Kung-Fu and Chinese mythology is something I'm sure many gamers would eat up.
What other decent Martial Arts RPG is out there? Who else can tell a story in such a world as good as BioWare. C'mon man, Jade Empire 2 WILL make EA oodles of money so just do it already.

I loved this game, not only as a gamer but also as a martial artist. JE was a jewel within the RPG genre because of it's personalized portrayal of Eastern Mythology and its fighting styles. Looking to the (relatively) recent success and critical acclaim of such movies as Fearless, Ip Man, and Forbidden Kingdom, there is still a strong niche market for fans of this genre. With new characterization in the vien of Bioware's recent successes, JE2 could set a benchmark for games of its kind.

I'd love to see a return of the Black whirlwind (best character in that game In my opinion)While playing the game I only had one problem with the game.
That problem was that you were only able to have one teammate/squad member out at a time, during Bioware's games with squad members I like seeing how they react with each other in different scenarios and that just wasn't present.

OMG if there would be a Jade Empire 2, I would probably kill someone for the game.
I LOVED it, it was the only reason why I got interested in Mass Effect, because it was another Bioware game.
They could make it so much better. Like the battling could be more advanced such as:
Like A and X could be different combos, instead of AAA. Hold X for power attack. A+X could be an area attack that does damage, when A+B could be HUGE area attack, but doesn't deal any damage. B to block and dodge.
I have so many ideas that could make JE2 awesome.
Silk Fox was the Best character, and a close second would be Chai Ka. Personal demon guardian, FTW.

I've bought this game twice along with two copies of the soundtrack and got a mousepad, too. I'd do the same for Jade Empire 2. I'd love to customize the character's looks a whole lot more, but what really sold me was the satisfying amount of content. Some parts were tedious, like the dried up river village - but on the whole, I had a blast. I'm going to play it again right after I finish KotOR once more.
JE2 - YES!

I wish!
Recently began replaying it again after a couple of years... I forgot how beautiful that game was!
More on topic, though... a story set in Prosperous East and Phoenix Gate could be intriguing. There are a few characters who mention it in game, and they make it sound so marvelous.
*sigh* If wishes were horses, eh?

After the...umm, decline that happened towards DA2 and ME 3 being "perfect" for the Kinect, I no longer trust Bioware to make a decent sequel to any game, least of all my beloved Jade Empire.
