Will buy it regardless of what I hear.
Will pre-order collectors edition too, hopefully with another cloth map.
It's got nothing to do with gameplay / graphics now, its purely story driven.
I HATE not seeing the conclusion of a story. Like when they put a TV series on, and axe it after one season without ever concluding the arch. Or when you buy a PC game that doesn't finish the story, but they never release a sequel. When I do, I'm so going to be a ghost with unfinished businesses in the form of piles of computer games that never got a sequel.
Hmm.....Like KoToR3

Then again, I'm not complaining about the no origins.

I think considering the current 3D craze, the N3DS should do quite a bit better than Virtual Boy
Wonder what the chances are of a 3D sequel to Sonic Chronicles
You won't get me twice Bioware! No matter if it answer the cliffhanger at the end of the first one. As for 3DS, I find marketing games for it weird. Your tv won't be able to show you what it does; so you have to go into the store to see for yourself or download ads to your 3DS. Although, it does answers Nintnedo's problem of getting people to use the DS marketplace.

The only thing that would *really* make me ponder, would be if DA2 turned out to be as short as ME2. That's probably the only thing BW could really muck up from my point of view. ME2 length = budget buy for me.

Yeah...I'll probably still buy it. (Though I wanted more origins, race customization, more complex dialogue, etc...not a "ME2-streamlined" DA sequel).

...and how exactly would you find ot about its lenght if not through playing it?

At first I was like everyone else annoyed with the lack of new races and all the other stuff but regardless of how we feel now we all know this game will be in our homes by this time next year. Why? Because its BIOWARE, when have they ever let you down!
Maybe so, but I still prefer some features over others and like some Bioware games more than others. I'd rather purchase DA2 without the dialogue wheel, for example.
And judging by Poll results so far, I'm certainly not the only one with that preference...

When they released patch 1.03 that introduced game crash bugs and made Dragon Age all but unplayable on the PC.

These very forums we are posting on right now are an excellent indicator. Wait a week or two after release and you can get a pretty good estimate on overall length and quality of any BW game.joriandrake wrote...

Same with all the DLC after RtO. Probably not going to buy any of it.
Sure I'll take a look at DA2 and follow the development, however at this point I'm in a pretty solid NO position. Bioware will have to work to convince me otherwise.
I don't NEED games. I choose to buy certain ones that I will enjoy. I have self-control...

Didn't buy Awakenings, don't ever really plan on it. If I do, it'll be used for sure.

I don't know enough to form an opinion, but this is the second Bioware game I'm hesitating to open my wallet for.
many people here think its not enough information, but theres a lot to base our thoughts on the way other games have been handled, downloadable content, interviews and the stuff they confirmed wont be in the game is enough for me to say i will not be preordering this game. and renting as of now will be a low priority.

Love me some bioware games. Despite the skepticism over it from a lot of people, I trust Bioware to make an enjoyable game, so I will be getting this the day they release.

A voting poll on point.
So if looking at that poll u got at least about 25% of forum members stating that they might not or most likely wont be buying it. Now if thats can be assumed to be agood cross refernce of all who own DA:O. 25% sales loss is still a good chunk of a player base. Not that i hold forum polls to be any indication of fact or true feel of the total fan base of a game.

They just don't. they pretend Mass Effect was the first game by this developer and start a raging choir of whine. as entertaining as it was at first, it's ****** annoying now. please stop it, get real and wait untill it gets released. KTHX.
