I do not have a copy of the GI issue and interview so I thought I'd ask here:
Is there any mention on whether DA2 will still allow you to take control of your party members and control them personally? Does the game end if Hawke goes down or does your party still have to be completely wiped out?
The main character down, party is out mechanic is one I've never been fond of, this is why I ask. Not a game breaker for me just curious as to what the idea is for this aspect of the game.

I haven't read GI myself, but I think they said that the PC version will still feature the same strategic approach as DA:O. Guess this means controlling each party member.
At least I hope.

I think it will be very similar to how DAO did it on the PC. What they are doing to the console version is any ones guess at this point.

People are blowing the streamlined for console thing way out of proportion. It's not going to be a night and day difference. They're just trying to make a control scheme that isn't going to feel clunky on console as DA:O felt like sometimes.

Right, I don't play it on the console, so it doesn't bother me either way, though my fiance might have somethign to say about it. I was just pointing out there hasn't been enough released to know one way or the other.

I hope they do the same thing for ME3 on PC, because ME2 wasn't close to as well desiged for a PC interface as ME was.Narreneth wrote...
