@Taifun : perhaps... we'd need to save the images, and back them up in a place like Imageshack... then we can use them as many times as we wish, so long as the account stays active.

@bcrankshaw : hello! Hope you'll enjoy the stay :D (also don't mind us too much, we're a bunch of crazed people, rarrgh! )

lol....you make me laugh

I have played most RPG like Elder Scrolls ,Witcher ,NWN1&2 ,Gothic 2&3 ,Risen etc

I really enjoyed DA:O and thought it was the ultimate party based RPG but BG2 is in a league of its own ..and its 10 years old !!
The complexity of the game-play and the myriad of quests and options make me wish we could  have  a game like BG2  but with the aesthetics of DA:O
It would only be for PC I assume ...heres hoping :)

Glad you're ejoying it! :wizard:

Just thinking of getting back to the game. It's been several years since I last ran through it, and while Dragon Age is great, I think I've played enough of it right now. Have to shelve it for now; no doubt I will come back to that eventually.

I got BG2 originally maybe a year or perhaps even two after it's release, and once I got into it, I played it through many times. And been coming back to it every few years or so. It is still the best RPG I've played.

these new forums have inspired me to reinstall the bg's. I think I'm finally gonna try a no-reload run through, real excited :)

Good luck and don't be discouraged if you die. It probably happens to everyone the first few times they try a no-reload.

Hey there. I do remember most of you, though I recognize my lurking may have gained that you do not remember me in ye olde forums.

In any event, my gf begged me to install BG1 in her computer for these mid-term vacations. She won't stop playing now, and this is the first time she takes it seriously. I feel like a real man now.

I Found out yesterday that the old forums were closed, I couldn't figure out why there were no new posts to read!

I think it's a little sad, the old forums was our slightly hidden away home for all the BG fans that still played the game regularly.

I liked the colour scheme of the forums and the fact that you could see more posts per page than you do in the new forums.

Oh well, same people, a lot of new people (awesome) and same games, I just wished I hadn't missed the forum move with like... three month

I think part of the problem is that less than half of the "old community" has bothered to join the new forums. Hopefully more will come in from the cold.

I do not miss the old forums. Here I can see my posts. I can edit my posts even after half an hour or so. And you can bring back the threads long gone....that faded into oblivion....or so it seems...

On another note, I to have been inspired to install the BG games and play them again.

Old forums new forums, at least the game stays the same =)
