Also, be sure to update your game with the latest SoA-only official patch or the SoA+ToB patch before posting. Note again that there is a different patch if you have just SoA or if you have SoA+ToB. As well, you may find the patch (called "bg2tob_26498_eng.exe") on the media for your game if you have purchased the BG2 Collection (check here for a thread that discusses it).
Be sure to read through this thread before posting as there are some old solutions here that might help you out.
