The term "Final Save" as it relates to BG1 can be confusing for some, particular in its relation to getting to the TotSC areas. The "Final Save" of BG1 occurs just before you enter the temple to fight Sarevok. It does not occur after you defeat Sarevok. The "Final Save" is not after Sarevok is defeated.

If you are attempting to get to the TotSC areas and you've reached the final battle, you will want to either:

[*]walk yourself out of the area and go to the TotSC areas by manually travelling (do not go
into battle with Sarevok; you can do this by loading your "Final Save" if you are at that point) or...
[*]do the following, originally posted by Jason Barlow on the old forum:

• Edit the baldur.ini file that you will find in the directory you installed BG
• Add the line Cheats=1 to the [Game Options] section of that file
• Fire up BG and load your final save. After the little movie, leave the temple through the door directly south of you
• Once outside, press CTRL and TAB to bring up the console
• In the console, type the following (this is CASE SENSITIVE): CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("MissionPackSave","Global",0)

Right after you hit enter, it should take you to Ulgoth's Beard.

I think I am crashing just before the Final Save.As I exit the maze.Probally due to the fact that i don't have an internet connectin anymore. Is there a patch for BG1

Yes, patches are mentioned in the troubleshooting sticky.
