A couple from inside the Candlekeep Library:

A WIP of Firewine Bridge from early this year, which I have to say kinda stings since I'll have to redo both it and Gullykin (not pictured) after one of my HDD's got wiped:

And, last but not least, a few WIP images of a group of areas I'm working on right now:

Well, it looks like the campaign will be fully playable in a couple weeks! After that, it's polish, polish, and some more polish for a few (at least 3) months. With this in mind, I think we're looking at September.

Love the look though. It would be fantastic if you could build Firewine Bridge it in joinable segments so that different bridges could be made.

The other images are très fantastique. The ruins look mysterious and creepy. A little more variety on the wall pictures would be a nice touch though.

The bridge is made with BCK that you can download on the vault. We are using very very few custom content only made for BGR (basically the only custom content BGR specific are picture I think, for maps and sign post).

More than 99% of the custom content we use are well known content al ready on the vault that you probably al ready have if you play on a NWN2 PW. We aren't numerous at all, if we start to do custom placeable and creature on our own, we'll nevers finish.

Actually, we do have a lot of little custom items. For example, we have custom banners, signs, heads for NPCs (Shhh... I didn't tell you that yet!), and creatures (many of which have since been added to the Vault by ArtEchoke).

Also, some people may notice that the normals for all the terrain textures were redone; it's subtle, but it's there :)

Sure, well I wasn't suggesting that you make your own. There are plenty of wall pictures available on the vault. But no matter. Thanks.

It's a small touch but I like to doctor up beds a little so they look more unique. E.g. adding extra pillows and/or putting a tintable blanket over the flat part. Shrug.

That's definitely already the case, though the screenshots above don't really reflect that very much. Also, keep in mind that these areas don't really represent final deco. I'll be doing a pretty signficant deco pass on all areas in the upcoming months to ensure they look pretty and also, unique :)

Great! Thank you. I guess I've just been looking at the standard toolset blueprints for too long...

So, instead of releasing this module by module as slow_divefan did with Icewind Dale, it looks like you're planning on a big release this winter?

This is very exciting!

Good luck and I'll keep watching and hoping.

I'll let this image speak for itself ;)

BTW, special thanks to Slowdive for being a complete badass and creating some of the custom assets you see in the screenshot above.

Correct; it'll all be released at once, though it'll likely be on the Vault this September, not winter! :)

You'll need both MotB and SoZ. Both are pretty cheap at this point and you can even get them bundled with the original game! :)

Hey, this is looking scarily close to completion. Very impressive.

If you've played the original Baldur's Gate, recall that it's a very free-form world. Aside from the Prelude, which could be released as a small, stand-alone taster, it would be quite difficult to section it into modules. Probably the city could be released as a second module since you can't get in until Chapter 5, as could Chapter 6, but I imagine it would be kind of awkward.

Great to see I might be able to enjoy even more Baldur's Gate fun soon. Keep up the good work, guys!

As today only the hafling sidequest (Gullykin's surrounding) are missing. (around 5 exteriors area, including a little village, a dunjon, and less than 10 interiors area for the village)

All the rest has its area done and scripted. So all chapters, and the extension (TOSC) are functionnal.

Awesome! Have you got some little round hut models for the halfling hovels?

How long has this been going on? I feel like I've been following the progress on this for years.

And now it is actually happening O_O. Someone pinch me, I think I may be dreaming.

Almost six years! I started the project in November of 2006 and now, finally (to say that Shallina has been a huge asset to the team would be an understatement), it should be complete in 2012 :)

We're using the RWS huts now, though originally I was using some BCK "models" I created in the old map.

I have not logged into my account for years, so long ago that I had forgotten I had one (didn't remember until it told me my email was already in use! - quick password change as that was well forgotten!), but I had to when I stumbled across this awesome thread.
A few months ago I decided I wanted to relive the good old days of RPGing on my 'puter. Two reasons, one: New Games just don't seem to have that 'Old School' playability, and are too flashy/fancy, Two: I wanted to see what the old games were like with all the graphics options to the max (better computer so can handle it!).
So, I dug out NWN2, blew the dust off, bought MotB and SoZ, installed and updated. I then started the OC. After downloading the Keadrin pack I had heard about I then saw mention of this project.
"Could it really be true!?!!" I wondered, and to my delight it is!

So the point - you guys are amazing for doing this! I once (way back when), created a house using the toolset (two floors and everything!) and thought 'sod that - too much work!". I am very excited to see this game finished, in a way few games have excited me (probably not since the original BG came out - yes, I AM that old!). I salute you!! I even went out and bought a hat, just so I could take it off to you!!
BG on NWN2 - Brilliant!! Only wish I could help in some way, rather than sitting here tapping my fingers like so many of us mumbling "come on, finish it!!" lol :D

When this materpiece is finished, how can we all benefit for it? Where will we be able to download it?

Sorry for the long post everyone, but after 2 years of a dormant account I got carried away!
