You don't want your module to be labeled as "it's good but it's a buggy mess".
It's easy to get excited to release it early after all this time.

Not long now until we get to here "Heya! It's me Imoen!" And I answer "That's nice, but you will probably be dropped as soon as a better thief comes along as I hate your chirpy attitude!" lol. I must admit, having completed the original Baldur's Gate with the classic Jahera/Khalid/Imoen/Minsc/Dynaheir combination I would look to drop all of them at the first opportunity to add variety.
Can I ask (and sorry of this has already been discussed) will Jahira still leave with Khalid and Minsc still take Dynaheir if you ask one of them to leave as per the original?

I will say once again: DON'T be in a hurry to release it. Make sure that everything is working as intended. Make sure to update it after release, with community suggestions about bugs.

There is no denying that the areas have been beautifully built in this project.

For all you guys waiting for this game, as beta tester I can tell you it will be well worth the wait - it is a fantastic accomplishment!!
You are all in for a treat, Drechner and Shallina have put in a HUGE amount of time, effort, patience and obviously love into this project and even with the (very minor) bugs - that are being cleared up as we speak - it is a masterpiece they should be justifiably proud of. After it get's it's polish it will comfortably up there with the best....looking down on them all!!
And WOW.. all that work kept going all this time be TWO people!

Actually, the original had a corpse and a lootable pile of items that looked like whatever was on top in their inventory.

Very nice screenies! I recognize a number of locales. Just a quick question about the suspension bridges though: do they fit two characters abreast? They look a little narrow, but perhaps that's just the perspective.

Hah! I fit two on one of them!
There's room for three actually... Not much room, but it's possible nonetheless.Bandobras Took wrote...

It was especially annoying that every time a companion died, you had to reequip everything once you raised them and armor can't be equipped while in battle.
So you had your tanks in their default clothes and joining the battle again or running away.

I'm guessing you can probably recognize that normal map!
I forgot to mention earlier (I'm very sorry!) but all the banners are based off an awesome update that Dark Elhoim made to a crappy banner I had made a long time ago
Speaking of which, if anyone wants to help out with any of the custom art work, please let me know!

I liked that. It meant that if someone in the party died and you had to travel to a temple to have them resurrected you had to either carry all of their stuff or leave it behind. In some cases someone with plate would be killed and the remaining party members were too weak to carry it. Forces you to make some hard choices.
Regards

I get what you're saying but I think that it's really stupid that the character gets out of their armor when they die. I get that they drop their weapons, shields, maybe helmets and bags of loot.
But getting out of their armor when they die, doesn't make much sense (even game-wise) and it's a huge inconvenience as they lose their main defense, so they can die again easily.
