Yes, not sure what I downloaded yesturday, but they are deffinently corrupt...anyone else that grabbed the files right away will also have broken stuff...some of the haks were also split between archives, so getting the proper clean files might not even be possible from the old archives.

If you look at the file sizes, the ones that don't work are the ones with the same 512mb sizes (except 6).
You want the ones that save as "do not download - part 1.rar" etc that have all different file sizes.

I just wanted to say thank you to the whole team. I've never actually been able to give BG a full play-through because I've always been put off by its age - not the graphics, which are really quite something, but its interface. Now I can finally enjoy the game I've heard so much about and started like 5 times.

I hope you are enjoying it At the early level the game is difficult, it's important to build a strong party.

The game is diffiicult at teh begining, then stale a little while you gain power,  then difficulty ramp up when you reach the 2/3 of the game.

The original game needed a strong party, and BGR require a strong party as well. Don't be afraid of powergaming your toon with powerfull class and build.

The lvl limit if you do everything is probably 11 or 12.

Mokah, what your screenshots seem to show are the split-archive version, whose names do not inform WinRAR that they're all part of the same archive. That's the version I downloaded, and I extracted them successfully by renaming the files to remove the "-792-1" suffix. The files should be "bg1", "bg2", "bg3", etc. The new files are not split archives, but individual archives, that don't require any particular naming convention.

Can't wait to dive in - I've deliberately not played BG1 since I found out this was in the works, and I'm all downloaded and ready to go. Very exciting!

I'm really sorry for the inconvenience of everything. Unfortunately, the old files ran into some problems (the site renamed them and screwed up some things). However, the new files uploaded (labeled as "Do Not Download" once you download them) should solve any issues you're having. 

Basically, you'll place all 6 archives (named "Do Not Download...") in your My Documents/Neverwinter Nights 2 directory and Extract All. There will be some folder merging, which is expected. Please let me know if you're still experiencing issues, and I'll be happy to help you out.

Please don't interpret my grumpiness with anything that you have done.  You guys are great.  The intarweb sucks.  I'll get it sorted, and give you all a stunning review.  Great job BTW getting this massive monster out the door...hopefully you both will get the recognition you deserve.

The Nexus has it set at 6000+ unique downloads at the time of this posting...where the heck are all these people coming from?

Also I noticed that a file called tower.bik is mixed in with the music (.bmu) files...should that be in the movie folder with the rest of the .bik files?

The BGR permissions specifically prohibit uploading to any other site "under any circumstances", so the Nexus is it.
A very reliable (and free) utility I've used for years is Free Download Manager. It can start a download, slow down or speed up the transfer and resume a broken DL if its interrupted. It was invaluable DLing the huge multi-gig Autodesk files.
If you relying on your browser for DLing large files, you might give FDM a try.

tower.bik in the music folder is the ending movie from the Icewind Dale mod.  It shouldn't serve a purpose in this mod.

are unimportant because they were caused by me somehow installing mod (or maybe game?) in wrong way. After I reinstaled NWN2 and BGreload none of these bugs appear anymore.

I downloaded the "Do Not Download" version, extracted everything in the right places but when I go for the Campaing it says that either the module is corrupted or I have an old toolset version.

Damn.

My game is up to date. :/

To everyone having tech issues:

The magic number is 1.23.1765. Please verify that your SoZ installation matches this version number. If not, you should run the SoZ update utility and then reinstall Baldur's Gate Reloaded.

If you are still having problems after verifying that your game version matches this number, then I think the devs can help from there. But, as a first troubleshooting step, I highly recommend checking your game version number.

Sigh. 1.23.1765. Those last four digits are important, I think.

Sorry, I didn't see the change in the first numbers, as my disc install of SoZ went through about a dozen version changes.
