I was wondering if anyone knows who the concept artist is for the couple images in the new game informer?

This is sort of related.
Does anyone else get a little upset that Bioware always uses a man for the cover and concept art for the main character?

Honestly? In the case of Hawke, I picture Hawke as male (though vastly different from their stock concept so far). But this is who I want to play.
In the case of Commander Shepard I prefer Shepard as a female, so yes it does. Again, in this case it was who I wanted to play.

Well I honestly don't like the name Hawke in this case though. Its too close to Hawkeye Pierce and will make me think of Mash every time its used. If their going the route it sounds like and giving a voice to the main I hope the main will have options to mimic the joker role as is fitting to the name created by Alan Alda.
Edit:
So in reply to your comment with that name I don't have as much of an issue but before I seen the name picked I first thought "Again with the male mogo?"

That's part of their marketing campaign. And no this is not in any way related--there have already been topics on this as well.
Anyway, related to the topic... I'm looking at his DA account, and the guy's pretty talented.

Yea but I get the feeling thats only a very small part of his art collection. It would be nice to know it he has more work in either his own publised art book or in some compilation somewere else.

Ah, Matt Rhodes! I've been following his art since he did some things for Tad Williams.
He has a blog here: http://mattrhodesart.blogspot.com/ It has a few more things that I don't think are necessarily up on the DA site.

Wow. I like his different versions of Jack. She actually looks hot with hair. Why didn't they use one of the other versions instead of the bald one?
