Death's Hand.
The fight vs. himself with the unskippable conversation on my very 1st playthrough (gm diff) was burned into my mind forever.

Master Li, since he lived up to his title of Glorious Strategist. Death's Hand, his armor and voice are intimidating and memorable.

Silk Fox. She was a typical tsundere in ways but I liked her. She had great arguments with Dawn Star and some of the romance banter was cute. I also found her support ability very useful since I usually maxed out two martial styles.

I liked most of the characters in the game; I'd be hard pressed to name a fave.

aw, me too:(
Also, I really like Wild Flower/Chai Kai/Ya Zhen. Definitely one of the most interesting characters. Still have to get to know Ya Zhen better though, because I'm right now only on my second playthrough;)

Sagacious Zu, without a doubt. We disagreed on a lot, like when he wanted to side with the wine merchant on Tien's Landing's dam, but I always liked listening to his viewpoint and his past kept me intrigued. I'm also glad we couldn't influence his personality to adopt a different style. Master Li and Death's Hand follow fairly close.

Hmmm. my favorite characters were Sagacious Zu, Sky, Silk Fox, Dawn Star . . . Whirlwind was a laugh.
My favorite of all time was a balanced, OP Wu the Lotus Blossom, lol.
Death's Hand, or Sun Kin, was also a favorite. I loved being able to set him free . . . but also like it when he's doomed to wonder the lands, seeking to justify his crimes by righting wrongs, even though it's rather dark . . .

It's a tough call, but I'd have to say Minister Sheng for the funnies, and Zu for the bad-assery.

Sky's conversation with fake actor (destruction of 4th wall) recently helped me. And it was the first character who told me about his dead wife. Oh, how young I was...
Favourite character - Hou's wife. Definitely strong and decisive woman. I love talks about her.
From NPC it's worth to remember Gufu, Hui the Brave and (can't remember her name) lonely pirate leader

Wild Flower all the way.
Chai Ka > Ya Zhen though. Ya Zhen may be a cool toad demon, but I just can't kill Chai Ka to get him without feeling like a total doucher. ;(

Wild Flower is by far the most interesting to me, but Kang is the funniest/most entertaining.

Sky, I loved the playful banter between the female PC and him. To me the game is so much fun because of the choice of dialogue between the two of them. There's just enough innuendo that you know he's thoughts are less than pure, but no enough to ever make you want to push him away as being clinging or over the top.

In no particular order:
Silk Fox
Wild Flower
Henpecked Hou
Kang the Mad
Black Whirlwind
The rest of the characters I cared little for.

Always had a soft spot for a big man with a big ax. Black Whirlwind. He knows his place in the party:
Black Whirlwind - Thing we want dead - Straight Line.
Lot's of great characters and plot twists. Master Li is one of the deepest and most complex ever.
