How do you make a GIF into a custom avatar?

Uh... you need like Photoshop CS5 to do it. Bummer... sorry.

You don't even need CS5... All you need to do is change the extension with normal windows. If the extensions are not shown in Windows, here's how you show them in windows.

I don't know (since I only have windows XP), but I googled it, and found this. Hopefully that will help.

Well you need not fear Messy. I have no Idea what doing that did. I still don't know how to turn GIF's into PNG's

Well, since you turned on the extensions, you then open up the folder where your dragon age characters are and change the extension, since it's now visible.
