I'm curious how Khrang has 3 APR with a 2-handed sword. By my math he should get 2: 1+0.5 at level 7+0.5 for specialization.

In vanilla BG 2, haste boots add 1 APR.

He only had 2 APR with the sword. Although he only used the sword in the dungeon I was rejigging inventory just before he left in order to carry the maximum amount of stuff out and the character record screenshot must be based on his shortbow being equipped.silenceall wrote...

Nice thought, but not in BGT (unfortunatelycorey_russell wrote...

Actualy i just wanted to know if everyone has such a high experience on their playthrough with scs2 ... i wonder if DavidW knows that SCS2 adds soo much experience. I am not really sure how it does that though, i dont remember soo many extra monsters ...
Even in vanilla, when you do every chapter 2/3 quests before going to Spellhold (and in the right order, thus you fight in some areas additional monsters and/or better monsters, for example, there are lichs or not in temple ruins or in ghoul town, there are adamantium golems in Firkraag lair and not iron ones, etc, you wait with your rogue before detrapping/unlocking, and when he reached adequate level you get the highest XP ...), you obtain your first HLA at the end of underdark.
With SCS2, I obtain at the begining of underdark... Not such a difference, when you know what you are facing (for example improved Ust Natha defenses...).

Just out of interest I'll mention that I was looking at BGEE this morning for the first time in quite a few months. In loading the various updates I noticed that they had fixed it to allow multiplayer raises in temple. Another MP change is not to interrupt someone else's shopping by initiating dialogue.corey_russell wrote...
HOWEVER, when we went to the Temple, the temple would take our money...and NOT raise her! An obvious bug.

Entering BG2/ToB no-reload challenge only (e.g. not trilogy)
Loqi - controlled by CR (protagonist)
Bait - controlled by Dog
Dogdancing believes the duo has BG 1 mastered, and Corey_Russell concurs. But she believes we need a lot more practice with BG 2 - Corey_Russell concurs with that too. Thus, Loqi is entering the BG 2/ToB challenge.
At the start of the session, we used shadowkeeper to put in a bag of holding.
Loqi character sheet:

** Flails
** Quarterstaff
** sling
Thinking behind proficiencies:
Flails for Flail of Ages (troll killing, interrupting mages' spells), Quarterstaff for Gaxx ring, and sling for ranged weapon.
Bait character sheet:

* Quartstaff
* shortbow
* katana
Thinking behind proficiencies:
Not shown above is her ***** in long sword, what she will use once she gets her fighter abilities back next level. Quarterstaff is for backstabbing and various golems, shortbow for ranged, and katana for very much down the road, the Celestial Fury.
We ditched Imoen immediately, recruited Minsc and Jaheira and Minsc for a few seconds for the experience then booted them out. Corey_Russell noticed a rather big problem - namely, the ONLY initial weapon that either character can use without penalty is quarterstaff! I can't get a flail until Ilyich that's still a ways a way...hmm...fortunately there's a +1 quarterstaff nearby, only requires 4 fights to get it - hold persons were enough to get by the bigger fights with the goblins. Also, Bait gained a level right about here and a proficiency point, which she put in katana, which then allowed Loqi to use her staff without penalty.
Next up? Time for Bait to live up to her name! In the Sewage Golem room, she walked in as bait...this worked perfectly, as Loqi then moved in with a skeleton helper and finished the mean mephit.
The right side of the first dungeon level was handled without incident, Bait was putting her traps to 100% first before any other skills. For the Ilyich fight, Loki got pretty lucky 3 skeletons from a single animate dead cast and 2 animals from a single animal summoning 1 spell. The team then took down Ilyich and his buddies without any trouble.
Bait was used as bait against the Cambion, while Loqi unlocked it - Bait was going through potions like they were out of style. Loqi attacked with his flail and eventually the Cambion lost interest in Bait, then the battle went much smoother, though still took quite a while.
The mephitis in the plane were indeed engaged this time (Coretrue and Wewa skipped the big group of them) - we did it this time with a few critter distractions which bought enough time for the team, besides drawing out the dangerous stuns of the enemy - the stun mephitis were of course the top priority targets.
The first level was clear, so the duo stood by a portal and ended our session here.

Ah! Rayic! This guy is probably the one who has the greatest number of scalps of no Reloaders ... (shared with Amelyssan ?)
Because he's the most dangerous in early SoA.

Possibly. On the other hand, the T'anarri in the Planar Sphere has caught quite a few no-reloaders unaware as well. It's particularly dangerous to solo characters with its innate see thru invis, hold and stun skills.

1. (80%) Carras, Amkethran Smugglers (special)
2. (60%) Karthis al-Hezzar (ToB river area)
Bartender, Tankard Tree (Saradush Tavern)
3. (55%) Chyil, Waukeen's Wares (Amketheran)
Ribald, Adventurers' Mart (special store)
Sister Farielle, Waukeen's Wares (Saradush Waukeen temple)
4. (50%) Priestess of Sekolah, Temple of Sekolah
But is there any logic behind this, as in, you are a special customer and get more money for your items, or is it a bug ?

Rue, human inquisitor (Grond0) & Murl, human monk (Gate70)
Having seen off Sarevok, Murl & Rue soon found themselves prisoners in Irenicus's dungeon. The first task was to kick Imoen out of the party - at which point Gate70 asked (reasonably politely) why Rue had kicked out Murl after all his sterling service in BG1
Most encounters were pretty easy. The main exception was the mephit portals, where Murl's stealth broke on the way to attack the radiant mephit portal - resulting in him being rendered unconscious by a colour spray and mobbed by all the mephits. Rue decided the best chance of saving him was to destroy the portals as quickly as possible. She won that race against time, though there wasn't a lot in it. The duo are currently standing at the dungeon exit.

Stats (continued from BG1):
Rue, inquisitor L8, HPs 103 (incl. 5 from helm), kills 234 (+54)
Murl, monk L8, HPs 60, kills 138 (+44), 0 deaths

Rue, human inquisitor (Grond0) & Murl, human monk (Gate70)
Murl & Rue have made pretty good initial progress in Athkatla.
First up was to clean up the Copper Coronet. Then on to the Graveyard to get the green ioun stone for Murl - a potion of firebreath dealing with most of the spiders. After following a lead to rescue a kidnap victim (for a fee of course) Watcher's Keep yielded up its treasures from the top floor (a potion of invulnerability and RoAC protecting Murl from deadly traps).
In the Temple sewers Roger was helped, a rakshasa was persuaded to hand over his cloak and the Unseeing Eye quest was triggered in order to provide easy access to the lich.
The only nasty moment in the session was when Rue skirted the prismatic spray trap in the slaver HQ, but didn't move far enough away before Murl followed her.
The Mae'Var quests provided a good illustration of the inquisitor's strengths. Rayic Gethras can be a pain when fully buffed, but a double-strength dispel magic made him vulnerable and he died before he could throw any new buffs up. Invading the guild the backstabbing thieves could have been a problem, but not after true sight exposed their positions. Mae'Var himself lasted only moments under Murl's assault.
The final action of the session was to give Prebek & Sanasha an inquisitorial grilling before looting Harper HQ.
Stats (continued from BG1):
Rue, inquisitor L9, HPs 124 (incl. 5 from helm, 10 from bracers), kills 360 (+126)
Murl, monk L10, HPs 71 (incl. 6 from ioun stone), kills 218 (+80), 0 deaths
