Final Update; Trust Noone! We chickened out of fighting for the "Staff of the Magi"… mostly because
Tashia didn't want it.

The elves needed our help to kill the black dragon but spike traps made this simple… well, messy but simple.

With the city safe we moved on to
Irenicus… "I'll see you in hell" he says as he drops… and he really meant it.
Edward passed all the trails (
mostly) good… I allowed
Valando (
being a scallywag and all) to fudge the rules a bit and pickpocket the tear so that he could keep the longsword without turning anyone evil.
The last stand; One Hakeashar and two sets of traps (
one at the door and one as a fall back) completes my preparation and we open the door to find the fates are twits.
R1,
Irenicus shows up and the cut-screen kicks in (
ignoring my traps) to summon demons.
R2, My party retreats to the second traps with demons in hot pursuit whist
Irenicus turns to deal with the Hakeashar.
R3, The traps kill one and
Puk makes fast work of two more but
Irenicus stops time to mince my pet and rape a helpless
Puk.
R4,
Edward tosses a trap to remove the remaining demon for a while and runs away in order to rez
Puk while the party collects his gear and pops some adds… notably
Peanelian from
Tashia because he is immune to time effects.
R5, My party scatters but
Irenicus stops time again and wins.
Three mod issues;1. The
Tashia romance script is broken for non-good aligned players and
Edward (
being pure neutral with high reputation) had to resort to devine meddling in order to see the final events… still a very worthy mod imo.
2. Removing the traps from around the door is somewhat understandable because they cause problems with the cut-scene. I suggest something like a note is found by the door…
Dear
Edward,
I hear you like to place traps before opening doors… I've taken steps.
Irenicus Or
You notice a proclamation inscribed on this door… by devine decree, no traps allows by this opening.
Signed Destiny!
Both are easy to script and give the player fare warning that you have changed the game rules.
3.
Edward was killed by a triple 'Chaos' & triple 'Flame arrow' fired from 'trigger/ Spell Sequencer' during a time stop.
I don't mind the (
interesting) usage of 'Chaos' or the fact that he picked on
Edward as this is a boss fight but at the time of firing,
Edward was on the other side of the map and well out of line of sight which makes his death due to blatant cheating… game over!
