Arcadia, Half-Elven Fighter/Mage: Torgal

Now with two HLAs and a level 7 slot, Arcadia felt ready to take down SCS Torgal and his band of merry freaksters. Having kicked stupidly over-prepared up a notch for this fight, Arcadia prevailed with ease. Or so it seemed: Torgal had a trick up his sleeve.

The buffs for this fight were Stoneskins, Potion of Stone Giant Strength, Potion of Heroism, Pro Fire, Spirit Armor, Spell Turning, Minor Spell Deflection, Pro Evil, Blur, Mirror Image, Improved Invisibility, Globe of Invulnerability, Spell Immunity: Abjuration, Spell Immunity: Divination, Improved Haste, Draw on Holy Might. Arcadia's Contingency was Fireshield: Red- see enemy. Her Minor Sequencer was Web x2, her Sequencer was Greater Malison, Web x 2.

Once she had completed buffing, Arcadia rushed Torgal. She pulled her Greater Malison Web x 2 Sequencer, and then engaged.

uNvTiYp.png

She followed up with her Web x 2 Minor Sequencer to make the situation even stickier for Torgal and his buds. With all the melee fighters held -and with the mages stumped by Arcadia's buffs- it was time for some Ages Whirlwinds.

d2GGhLY.png

The first Whirlwind, a Greater, should have nixed Torgal. For some reason it didn't. After he took a second Whirlwind, it became clear that something was amiss. Arcadia shrugged, figuring the hold and rapid damage had interfered with Torgal's death script some how. She punked a few of Torgal's lackies, and then swung by and gave the Big T some more QT. This time he fell.

QNZxImd.png

Objective complete. Or so it seemed. But a few rounds later, Arcadia noticed a fresh face standing over Torgal's corpse. Who could that be? None other than Torgal, as it turned out. He was back from the dead.

o9kqIBc.png

What now? Arcadia and I considered finishing Torgal Reloaded -along with everyone else- but Captain Swarmi pointed out that that could take just long enough to allow the first round of spell immunities to run out. And since we had allocated a 5 to Sunfire, we only had one SI left, which would leave us vulnerable to either remove or true sight in an extended fight. That would have been okay, assuming we had low cost save buff potions, like Potions of Stone Form, but all we had was a Potion of Magic Shielding, and it made little sense to risk losing that to lesser foes with the mission already accomplished. And who's to say Torgal won't be reborn again? Better to quaff a Potion of Invisibility and leave, Captain Swarmi argued. He had a point. Arcadia agreed.

N6zJNHJ.png

And so that was that. But you have to feel a little bad for Nalia this run: "Dad's dead. I won't be your figurehead. And by the way, there's another Torgal. And if he dies who knows, maybe another one will show up. Good luck with that!" Good luck indeed.

Thaxy is next.

Best,

A.

Glorydd, Dwarven Fighter/Thief, 3rd update

Glorydd had completed two simple assassination quests for Edwin and Mae'Var (without actually killing any of her marks, she was no hatchet woman), when the former surprised her by telling her he knew she was a spy and by giving her the key to Mae'Var's strongbox. It contained written evidence that Mae'Var had been making overtures to the Night Masks. She took the evidence to Bloodscalp, and got from him the instruction to 'remove' Mae'Var.
First however, she rested at the Sea's Bounty, an inn right next to Mae'Var's guild hall. She had a bizarre dream in which she met Irenicus and Imoen in Candlekeep. The citadel was floating in the sky. Imoen spoke about the past, but Irenicus didn't seem to like that. He asked Glorydd a number of questions but they made little sense to her, things like: "Will you cringe from what you know you want? Will you cling to the past or can you see through the pain?" Eventually Irenicus told her that nothing was real yet, which comforted the Dwarf.

In the morning she entered the guild hall. Mae'Var' and his thieves had found out about Glorydd's loyalty to Bloodscalp. She slew several thieves on different floors of the building, saving the cellars, where Mae'Var used to hang out, for last. With Kitthix she fought a Priest of Cyric, various elite assassins and Mae'Var himself. She took more hits than she cared for and had to go invisible at one point to heal herself. When Mae'Var slew Kitthix, still invisible Glorydd retreated and used Vhailor's Helm, a helmet she had bought at the Adventurer Mart, to summon forth a simulacrum of herself, only to see it Dominated by Mae'Var soon after it attacked the rogue. She had more success with her traps, and with her bow. An arrow of dispelling, followed by acid arrows that both injured Mae'Var, peeled away his later Stoneskins and repeatedly disrupted his spellcasting meant his downfall. Bloodscalp rewarded her richly, with an enchanted blade and with the management of Mae'Var's now vacant guild hall. She promptly instructed her thieves, setting moderate challenges for them but insisted that they targeted the rich rather than the poor, and that they refrained from unnessecary violence.

Inside the Slums' Slaver Compound she made short work of the slavers, relying on backstabs and on her summons (Vhailor's simmy and Kitthix). [Note Blackraven: I unintentionally deleted my screenshots of this quest, nothing spectacular though. It was all quite straightforward, with the mages being webbed by Kitthix.]

That night Glorydd had to deal with a group of Mae'Var's old friends, and she also had a run-in with a Vampire that was getting the upper hand in a fight against three of her Guild colleagues. With her Helm of Charm Protection and an oil of speed all she had to worry about were the Vampire's draining powers. The Vampire did indeed drain two of the Dwarf's levels, but that didn't stop Glorydd from slaying it.

Glorydd then traveled to the Umar Hills, to the village of Imnesvale, because a young boy had told her of killings and disappearances of townspeople. In Imnesvale she "rested", i.e. had another strange dream featuring Irenicus. This time he offered her power, but Glorydd hadn't forgotten about how he had treated her in his dungeon. She didn't think much of the dream the next day.
She had grown used to helping townsfolk with their needs; she had done this in Beregost, in Nashkel, and in the city of Baldur's Gate. Imnesvale was no different [note Blackraven: this means that Ilbratha and a Beljuril were secured; Madulf and Minister Lloyd were brought together]. The people's main concern however were the killings and disappearances.

Glorydd's investigations took her to ancient Temple Ruins, northwest of Imnesvale. The area was replete with Shadows, Shade Wolves and Wraiths. She slew all the creatures but got level-drained and energy-drained in the process. It prompted her to use one of her green scrolls of Protection from Undead on herself (after she had restored herself and rested). Thus protected, she breezed through the ruins, rescuing a Halfling warrior for which she was thanked with an anti-stun sword, and slaying all kinds of Shadow creatures as well as Skeleton Warriors, without having to worry for her safety. She did have to be careful with two Greater Mummies whose Aura of Fear was still capable of paralyzing and panicking her, and with two hard-hitting Bone Golems. The combination of those creatures was especially dangerous. However, two potions of clarity and a second scroll of PfU kept her safe from the Mummies, and an oil of speed in combination with Tuigan Bow ranged attacks greatly facilitated dealing with the Bone Golems. When she left the dungeons again, she found the root of the undead evil: a Shade Lord. As Glorydd was still protected from Undead, neither its lackeys nor the creature itself had any means of defending themselves against the Dwarf.

There was another creature though, much more powerful and not so simple warded off as the undead: a Shadow Dragon. Glorydd rested, summoned her Vhailor's Simmy and instructed it to place three snares. It caused the dragon to go hostile, but it didn't attack yet. Glorydd sent the simmy to fight the dragon, but but saw the clone soon overcome with dragon fear. Glorydd then buffed with an oil of speed and with a potion of clarity (she was rapidly running out of those), and summoned Kitthix to her side to engage the dragon before the massive creature would come after her. She placed three traps of her own, which together with the simmy's traps injured the dragon as soon as it triggered them; [Thaxxy's status due to the trap damage was 'Injured', but] the good thing about the traps was that beside their initial damage they also deal poison damage over time. The simmy didn't last long and neither did Kitthix, so it was up to Glorydd to deal with the monster. She noticed it relied much on magic removal, debilitating magic and wing buffets. The dragon dispelled her buffs and Malisoned the Dwarf, but Glorydd countered that with her penultimate potion of clarity, and after some running around, she applied another oil of speed. More running around ensued, with Glorydd landing the occasional hit and paying for it with the dragon's wing buffets. The advantage with the wing buffets was that they launched Glorydd far away from her foe, buying her time for healing. She slew the creature with a critical, and survived its final wing buffet.

Her feats made her the heroine of Imnesvale, and the Shadow Dragon scales were forged into suit of armor.

I just read this after a day spent napping, drinking wine, and binge watching Love Boat. I almost feel guilty.

At least we can still rely on Glorydd to make progess!

Thanks Alesia :)

I just checked. I only have the following components installed for dragons:

~SCSII/SETUP-SCSII.TP2~ #0 #6095 // Standardise dragon immunities: dragons in Shadows of Amn get the same immunities to vorpal attacks (etc) as their Throne of Bhaal cousins: v21
~SCSII/SETUP-SCSII.TP2~ #0 #6100 // Smarter dragons -> Dragons have fast, uninterruptable innate magic: v21

There's also:
~BG2_TWEAKS/SETUP-BG2_TWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #3010 // Maximum HP for NPCs (the bigg) -> For All Creatures in Game: v12

Not sure what difference that makes.

In my set-up Thaxxy has around 200 HPs I think. The staying power component doubles it? That would have required the use of a lot of expendables for Glorydd...

Potions do not break in my set-up. I generally prefer to work with difficulty enhancements that affect all classes more or less equally. My non-casters tend to have more use for potions than casters. For the same reason I've never installed the component that removes characters' gear in Spellhold, which means almost nothing for a Sorcerer, while it severely cripples a Fighter.

That's what motivated my questions. Glorydd seems to be consuming potions quickly, and accumulating them quickly. However, the Thaxy fight seemed to consume too few. No breakage + no increased staying power seemed the most likely explanation.

With improved staying power, he has 480 hit points. Arcadia Crimson Darted him to death. And yes: It took awhile...

Wow! that's an awful lot of HPs. Kudos on beating Thaxxy on steroids. I would have waited till HLAs with Glorydd if I Thaxxy had been so resilient in my set-up.
The (lack of) potion breakage didn't have that much of an impact on Glorydd's success I'd say though. Most of her potions she had nicked from Ms Cragmoon, Merina at the Thieves Guild, Roger the Fence and other providers.

Makes sense. Even with breakage, my thieves usually amass a huge supply in early SoA and then whittle it down over time.

It was the Potion of Clarity consumption rate that caught my attention more than anything else. Of course with a Dwarf -and with Harmony and Dragonslayer on the horizon- you may just be burning them early with the understanding that they won't be needed much later on.

I typically do. I typically wait untill after the Underdark.

Arcadia did have two Whirlwinds when she faced Thaxy. You can probably guess what happened when she tried to use them with Dragonslayer equipped (Hint: It involves flying across the room and quaffing a healing potion...). But even if she used Seeking with her Whirlwinds, the fight would have taken awhile: Thaxy would have just gone with Blindness and or Create Shadows in that case.

I suspect it's thanks to RR that Merina at the Thieves Guild has special Thieves-only stock. It includes 20 potions of clarity, of which Glorydd had bought ten (the special stock cannot be stolen from). I know I want one more for the shrooms in the Druid Grove, and it's of course nice to always have a few emergency potions of any type for mage fights, but you're right that Harmony/Dragonslayer and Dwarven saves should eventually render clarity options obsolete.

Yuppers. While we're on the subject, can you talk about Glorydd's weapons?

Sure :)

First of all I should note that that I'm playing with BG2Tweaks' Altered Weapon Proficiencies, which pairs Morningstars with Maces, Wakizashis with Katanas and and Ninja-To with Short Swords.
Glorydd's proficiencies are: ** Two Weapon Fighting, ** Short Sword/Ninja-To, ** Short Bow, *Flails. The latter pip was her level 9 pick, a second pip in Flails is planned for lvl 12. Glorydd has already bought the Defender of Easthaven, and will go after the FoA as well.

Her post-UAI profs (assuming all goes well) will probably be ** 2H Swords (for Carsomyr), * Staves, * 2H Weapon Style.

The weapons she's currently working with are Arbane's Sword, Sound Defense (a Short Sword +2 that gives +1 AC and +1 to Saves vs Death, from the Song & Silence mod), and the Black Cat's Claw (a Ninja-To +2, +1 Luck, +1 DEX). Post UAI, she'll also use Scarlet Ninja-To and Mazzy's Sword (probably upgraded to +5). For ranged she has been using her Tuigan Bow.

Sound? Would you do something differently? If so, I'd be interested to know.

As so far, he exited the dungeon (Be Gone mod), and together with Minsc restored the circus. We should now travel to Bridge District, since Branwen will be waiting there (I installed Branwen mod since she survived BG1). Other party members will be Yoshimo and Nalia.

Your choices make sense to me. I don't obsess over weaponry, and weapon damage in particular. To my mind, how one uses one's weapons is more important than the weapons themselves. Doing fractionally too little damage is rarely a cause of death. I often pick weapons based on defensive considerations. Style matters to me. I switch weapons often, depending on my foes.

Some scattered thoughts

If I had your setup Cat's Claw and Sound Defense would definitely be part of the mix. I'd also definitely upgrade the Sword of Avoreen.

Does your install include the RR PnP style Short Sword of Backstabbing? If so, I'd probably bring that.

You mentioned that you intend to take proficiency in staves, but didn't mention any staves. The Staff of Striking, and or the Staff of the Ram for backstabbing, I assume?

I have a weakness for Haer'Daelis's Chaos Blade, but it's probably the single cheesiest weapon in the game. You're probably better off steering clear of it. It's addictive.

Tuigan is a fine range weapon, but it rarely ends up being my primary since it is two-handed and consequently can't be wielded with the Refection Shield in the off-hand. Being able to deal damage at range, while being immune to range damage has it's advantages The per hit damage of Tuigan is also pretty poor, which ends up being a problem in difficult late game fights where you can't just stand around in one place for an entire round. The Sling of Seeking is my range weapon of choice for the final Ascension battles. I just keep Tuigan around to launch Arrows of Dispelling. With an F/T, you should be able to nix Illasera before she can get any arrows off. That should be true both in the glade and at the Throne. Nonetheless, you'll likely encounter times when the Refection Shield + the Seeking would make sense. Minimally, this should be true when facing the Fallen Solars flanking Jon at The Throne.

If I had RR installed, mages who might use Flame Arrow X3 Sequencers would see a lot of the Reflection Shield + Unenchanted Darts/Returning Frost Dart.

Gessen is helpful against Stoneskined foes- especially once you get Whirlwinds.

Firkraag deserves to be wisdom drained to death with Kachiko's. Yaga has a low wisdom too. Pack Malison scrolls if you'd like to try this.

Even without proficiency in long bows, I like to keep Mana around for the magic damage resistance, although I sometimes get lazy about that. Even without proficiency in long swords, I'd keep Dragonslayer around. Even without proficiency in halbreds, the Wave can be helpful (Imix).

Ilbratha is worth bringing even if you don't intend to swing it. Ras is great since, it allows you to bring a summon into play without breaking invisibility.

You may want to experiment with Everad's Morningstar. The spell slot drain goes through Stoneskins. It works from the top of a mage's book down.

I've never played an F/T, but were I to do so, I'd be tempted to try a hard as steel setup, which would involve Foebane + Defender + Jan Jansen's Adventurewear + Hardiness.

Hold on to Black Blade of Disaster scrolls. They may come in handy.

There are other ideas worth considering of course. And I'm just one source of them. In the end, go with what works for you, have fun, and, yeah: don't die.

Best,

A.

Thanks so much Alesia for your insights.

Quick thoughts (at work so not much time): I've never experimented much with stat drains, though I've always wanted to. Both Kachiko and Chaos Blade (which in my install can be upgraded) appeal.
The RR Short Sword of Backstabbing should be there, but only becomes available in Chapter 6 I think.

I've thought of Reflection Shield (Glorydd already bought it) but considered using K'logarath with it, I'd love to throw Mel around the Throne with it, but Sling of Seeking sounds good too. Maybe I'll invest a last proficiency pip or two in a singlehanded ranged weapon (darts/axes/slings) rather than Staves, because with Glorydd's Thac0 staff-backstabs, which was indeed the purpose of becoming proficient in staves, should generally connect even without her being proficient.

Didn't know about Everard's Morningstar, interesting! Bastard Swords for upgraded Foebane is another late game option.

Hardiness, Jan's Armor, DoE was indeed something I had in mind for Glorydd. :)

Thanks again, have fun with the Love Boat (I don't remember much of it except the opening tune), and keep on rocking with Arcadia!

Good luck with Darthus, Aasim!

Thanx, he'll need it.

Darthus, 2nd BG2 update

We joined up with Yoshi at CC and agreed to meet Nalia at a later date. I took the liberty of slightly altering Yoshi's skills - he's better at opening locks, but sucks at planting traps (which I don't use anyway - yes, it's a trapless bounty hunter). The trio then put the trash out of CC for good.

2_zpscnlnjhyx.jpg

Now, Branwen joins.

3_zpska9fih4c.jpg

She started at level 10, having access to two level 5 slots - both of which are memorized as Chaotic Commands. This makes Suna ambush far less threatening.

4_zps2duwy2x4.jpg

We triggered the second ambush as we left the area, and finished Harper's quests. This was the first time I noticed that goblins there use poison arrows.

5_zps4sgzch4w.jpg

Not that it helped them, by any means.

6_zpso8wy0mva.jpg

To get some decent equipment, money is required, and we decided the easiest way for now is Mae'var. Edwin was slain to obtain the key, and now we had a green light on Mae'var's execution. Minsc got trapped in Shadow door instantly.

7_zps0a2gblor.jpg

The battle lasted for quite a while, and Branwen fell to the thieves after being struck by Chain Lightning. Nothing a priest of Oghma can't fix, however.

8_zpsqbunxz7c.jpg

Mae'var's thieving career however, can't be fixed no more. Oddly enough, he never used much disabling spells- but had 4 total stoneskins (precast, two used, and one more in Contingency). Cheesy bastard apperantly also has "invisble hemet with no animation" on himself. Meh.

Darthus, 3rd BG2 update

Rather short report on Slaver's ship. Opening was flashy, but badly tought out. Should have slammed Silence there.

10_zpsmygbvj3v.jpg

This way, Minsc's buffs got dispelled. Not that it mattered much, probably a few healing potions later on.

The lowlife mages there don't have Vocalize.

11_zps3p3dnwmg.jpg

This spell reminded me that I need to get some fire resistance gear asap...

12_zpsbgovazjs.jpg

Few rounds later, Haegan is history.

13_zpssqiyrxj8.jpg

We also aquired Lirarcor for Minsc, now he doesn't need Chaotic Commands anymore.

14_zpsisc9xkmr.jpg

Now it's time to grab Nalia, kill Torgal, and get to Windspear hills. Playing a fallen paladin feels as if he's plagued or something.

Thanks so much Alesia for your insights.

No worries.

The Chaos Blade is awesome since it doesn't offer a save. It's seriously overpowered, although it's only really helpful against enemies with huge hitpoint totals. Without improved staying power for dragons, there are fewer. Kachiko's is more of a style/fun/gimmick pick. Note that stat drain works through Stoneskins.

K'logarath is nice, but in practice, I find it less useable than Seeking. Seeking seems faster, despite K'logarath's 0 speed factor. More importantly, Seeking has a range of 50, whereas K'logarath has a range of 20. K'logarath can work, but Seeking saw a lot more use in the old Ascension solo challenge. In my runs K'logarath sees occasional use. Seeking is probably my favorite BG2 weapon.

Investing a pip in a single handed range weapon could be wise. It's worth noting though that in some installs the THAC0 penalty associated with wielding missile weapons without proficiency wasn't implemented properly. Even if that is the case in your setup, you may prefer not to take advantage of it. Personally, I'd allocate a pip.

I haven't used Everard's Morning Star much in SCS, but I did find it helpful in my Improved Anvil solo with Alena, F/M/C. I think Everard's has un-leveraged potential. That said, it could just unnecessarily complicate your mage killing work flow. Also, it may nudge you into fighting mages at close range, which is often a bad idea. I prefer to be as far away as possible from mages when I fight them, in the interest of widening my counter window and insuring that I can't be targeted with Maze or Imprisonment. Everard's is interesting. It may be a good idea, it may be a bad one. You'll have to decide. I've been thinking about buying it for Arcadia since her buffs can make meleeing mages safe.

Foebane is fantastic and it would pair well with Hardiness + Adventurewear + Defender. The pips though, amirite? The issue becomes whether you want to make heavy use of Foebane or Carsomyr. I personally am un-fond of using Carsomyr as a primary with non-Paladins on style grounds so I'd pick Foebane, but I can definitely see the appeal of going with Carsomyr.

The Love Boat rocks: everyone is stylish, everyone falls in love in five seconds, and every problem is solved within 45 minutes. I wish life were like that. I wish I were Julie McCoy.

Best,

A.

Darthus, 4th BG2 update

We took in Nalia and cleared the keep. Due to lowish levels, we didn't really do much fighting there. Yuan-ti mage got confused and wandered off, slain outside. It's been a while since I last seen this place.

15_zpsqtetztlf.jpg

Torgal is very risky with 2 Yuan-ti backup for us - thus we use the fact he's the only one who can see through invisibility. It was still darn hard to hit him - in the end, he killed himself on Darthus' Fireshield. Nalia got the finishing touch in. We stole the loot from golems under Sanctuary, forged Ages, and left Yuan-ti mages to party in the cellar.

16_zpsiyzemhvf.jpg

Now, Windspear. Part 1. The most annoying battle so far, as well as the hardest - mr.Rukh. While this is a non-notable battle usually, without proper equipment/spells it can be a game-ender. The most unfortunate thing was that Darthus couldn't actually hit him - he only has +1 Bastard sword.

Things started of fairly ok - Cloudkill, Web, Stinking cloud, Rakshasa usual spells. Darthus got confused, but that's fine. We also had Aerial Servant with us, but he never got a hit in and Rukh basically ignored him alltogether.

17_zpsqm1aysam.jpg

A bigger problem yet we had no healing potions. Toragal forced all. Nalia fell to a critical - luckily, she wasn't chunked. Minsc attacked from range with +2 Acid arrows from the keep, and after peeling of initial stoneskins Rukh buffs again (Mesthil's is a la Fireshield, but acidic)

We basically avoided him alltogether until Mesthil and Fireshield wore off :( . No potions, no healing, no way to hit him without getting hit back for 15+ damage. I tought about leaving the damn place. Minsc spent all +2 arrows. I had one Defence potion (+4 to AC) which I decided to use on Darthus. We shall not falter! Branwen chanted, and Minsc went in melee, while Darthus stood his ground.

After what seemed an eternity, bam.

We enter the second area invisible. Unfortunately, only Minsc has weapons enchanted enough to hurt the Vampires there, so all but one escaped.

Quite a bit of exp lost.

Finally for this report, Samia.

Nalia opened with Chaos,  Branwen Silence.  Yoshi gets stabbed. We focus the confused fighters first, in hope they would drop some potions.

Yoshi gets stabbed again, and hides. Most of the non-spellcasting enemies are dead.

Now Legodril. Darthus got breached and confused. Branwen gets in to remove confusion from him, and he greets her with style!

That's what you get for being nice. :D

Kaol now turns to summons and brings more meat to the field. He also finishes Yoshi off.

25_zpsh0ksbd6s.jpg

Branwen sanctuaries herself - she's very close to death state. We decide to get rid of ogres first - they deal huge damage if left unchecked.

Nalia gets charmed  - not so bad actually, at least ogres won't be after her.

26_zpswep4uxcs.jpg

Minsc gets struck by double Acid arrow, and goes to search the bodies for potions. Success! One found!

27_zpscz7bimas.jpg

Sanctuary expires, Branwen dies.

28_zpsd4zcyi23.jpg

..and that was all Kaol had.

We are now en route to the nearest temple to raise our dead, then the Windspear galore shall continue. :P

Arcadia, Half-Elven Fighter/Mage

Aside from Tamah and Mel, the greatest danger my characters face is me losing interest. When it happens, it typically occurs in Spellhold or the Underdark. Now in Brynnlaw, Arcadia is entering the most dangerous phase of her career: the phase when I may say, "Huh, you know, I think I'd rather try something else." We'll see if Arcadia makes it.

Since her last update, Arcadia has made modest progress. She took care of Thaxxy, iced the Delosar and sewers parties, and set sale for Brynnlaw. She also addressed island concerns, and sent Perth down under. With wardstone in hand, she is now ready to enter the Asylum.

Thaxxy

Thaxxy wasn't Arcadia's most dangerous foe to date. He definitely gets the staying power award though. With 480 hitpoints, an excellent AC, invisibility at will, a blindness inducing breath weapon and -importantly- the THAC0 to hit a buffed Arcadia, he took a long time. Arcadia was forced to finish at range, but she did get him down to injured in melee before her Stoneskins were peeled. Note the to hit rolls. Most enemies have required a 19 or 20 to hit Arcadia.

Crimson Dart finish. The nook was used in the end to conserve Oils of Speed.

After the battle, Arcadia rested and then awoke to a mystery: Who summoned a bird? Was that you Captain Swarmi? Were you hungry?

The Sewers Crew

Draug Fea's crew met the same fate as Torgal's: they caught 4 Webs and a Malison via sequencers followed by a whole lot of Ages from an over buffed F/M. Draug Fea lacked Torgal's ability to rise from the dead, however, so Arcadia's victory was more thorough this time. Note that Arcadia now has the spell slots for specific protections. Protection from Magic Energy, Protection from Cold, and Protection from Fire have been worked into her buff regiment.

Seriously, goblins? Can't you wait? It's not your turn yet.

Darts and acid arrows finished Gaius.

I'll post on Spellhold soon.

Best,

Nice work, Aasim!

Your Ruhk fight reminded me of Arcadia's. He's a naughty kitty.

Best,

A.
