Khale, 1st BG2 update
Did Circus, took in Aerie. Visited Graveyard to get Albruin. Did Suna ambush, no problems - Aeirie joined high-enough level to cast Chaotic Commands. Imp.invisibility didn't hurt either.
Second ambush could have been ugly, with Khale getting held. Aerie to rescue!
Visited WK briefly - Aerie explored under Sanctuary, but very little since Farsight revealed Vampirics. Bought Yamato for Khale.
Now, Umar. Did small quests there. Go to the light, Khale.
Took Mazzy. I reconfigured her weapon pips a bit - she won't be using Short Bows, but slings. She killed Shade.
Back to city, we get into a really ugly ambush while traveling to Temple to do the bidding of the thieves. Aerie gets disabled and hurt real bad quickly.
She eventually died to sequencered Magic missiles. I didn't expect Cone of Cold here...
Nasty fight, by all means.
Now, Gethras. This was quite a fight as well. We trigger his conversation by saying we're here to kill him. We're rather outspoken.
Now, scatter.
Aerie uses TS, while Khale gets dispelled. That's bad, Aerie has very few spells for now.
She summons the golem and hides, Mazzy got charmed and is thinking she should kill Aerie.
Aerie removes charm from Mazzy, I need her sane here.
Next, disaster strikes. Rayic summons Ogres, and tosses a Confusion. Both Mazzy and Khale are affected. Aerie has but one Break Enchantment memorized, spending the first to de-charm Mazzy.
She tries to use it on Khale, disrupted. Bad, bad.
Uncotrolable Khale still makes a good fighter, however.
Aerie cast invisibility onto herself.
Now, Khale gets hit by Flame Arrows. Very badly.
I tought this was it. Rayic would add another scalp to his collection. ![]()
Aerie to the rescue! She makes Khale invisible, and eats a Flame Arrow for him, just as Confusion expired. Her MSD eats two of them and she survives long enough to eat one more, then she dies. The final Arrow ends in Khale, but he survives it. Phew...
Heal up, quickly.
We kill the Ogre first, and then Mazzy uses her sling and eventually Gethras dies.
Mae'var was surprisingly easy. One Chaos from Edwin
True Seeing from Aerie so she can target him with some proper spells like Hold Monster, and that was it.
