Now, to be quite frank, I think the title of "Seeker" is getting a tad overused these days.

Reminds me of Pirates Of The Carribean mixed with Fable. And a bit of ATLA's Iroh mixed in to boot.

Mystery Girl's true form, maybe? It has the same horn layout. The red and black colors match the black whispiness and red in the girl's hair from the previously released image. Or maybe she's this dragon's daughter? Don't ask me how. Bioware characters aren't historically big on having simple family lives.

Most likely some Keep somewhere. Or perhaps the ruins of the People's Palace?

New mage abilities will apparently allow you to light darkspawn flatulence of fire. Combine that with the Gastric Bowels spell and you have one mighty big boom.

And combine both of those with Spell Power and it summons a Firey Dragon of Flaming Flatulence. It burns and chokes the enemy to death.

Bioware: please make more execution moves for ogres. Please? Quicktime events or something! Just give me some daddanged execution moves! Maybe include some for an archer, Legolas style!

Blimey, it must be hard for those buggers to talk. Even for darkspawn.

Why can't the game look directly like the second image?

Primary enemy of the game will be some sort of cult (kind of like a larger version of the cult at Haven) and the Dwarf guy is the leader while the chick is the tsundere bodyguard that betrays him for love.

Hawke's beard is just too manly afterall.

If I didn't know any better I'd say this was the Anderfels from how it's described to us. I find the eye symbolism very mysterious though. It could symbolize a certain power that's always watching you or God itself(in this case, the Maker). It actually appears to be a sun with an eye in the middle. Very mysterious.

I never noticed this before... but does anyone else find it strange that Ogre's have littlle loincloths?

Just seems like something a 15ft tall behemoth wouldn't really concern itself with.

This is what Ladybrigt said in another thread.

The GI article implies that (The Dwarf) Varric is narrating about Lothering. He is talking to the Seeker, who wants to know "how Hawke escaped from Lothering, and Varric reluctantly tells the tale. At least, he tells the version he wants the Seeker to hear." She wants to know because she wants to understand Hawke's actions. The world is on the brink of war, and the article implies Hawke is somehow related to this. Then it shifts to Hawke's POV.

Edit, regarding multiple narrators: Also part of the article: "Narrators with unique insights into the events in question tell the tale of his [/her, meaning Hawke] past adventures." Mark Darrah says it is similar to The Usual Suspects in this regard.

Seems like the Anderfels to me as well. Isn't Weisshaupt surrounded by a wasteland? When I saw that fortress I immediately thought Weisshaupt.

Speaking of Ogres, has anyone else noticed that the dragon shown in the concept art looks similar to an Ogre. If you look closely, it's head has horns and eyes similar to an Ogre's as well as purple skin. I don't know, something seems fishy about the dragon shown. Maybe it's just me. Maybe I'm getting my hopes up about tainted dragonsor a Darkspawn version of a dragon. Unless that's an other Archdemon?

I would think Weisshaupt would look a lot grander. The "sacrifice" ending to Dragon Age referenced huge statues and the like.

Pfft, the dragon lady isn't a dragon.

You see, I've figured it all. All the pieces have fallen into place.

BioWare says we may know who the dragon lady is. We may have met her. They've also said we'll be shocked when we find out. Given our wild ass guessing, there's very few people who that could be. BioWare has also shot down the theory that it's Morrigan's daughter.

Now, who have wet met in DAO who is still alive and who would be surprising to discover that it's the dragon lady?

The answer is clear: Duncan!

I would say that this pic was inspired from a scene in Lord of the Rings and that little bloke challenging the dragon is actually Gandalf.

I love graphic novel-esque stuff! ^_^

Also: I'm really digging the little dude who's pointing his sword at the dragon. "Yo! Need a toothpick?"

So I'm guessing that the story technically starts in the Anderfels and then moves back to Hawke's POV in Lothering. Yeah, I guess this makes sense.

It'd spawn endless complaints how the game was made look all anime cartoon-like. Posted Image

It looks like the Disciples from the Awakening expansion. I'm guessing they're involved somehow.

The dragon is Flemeth. It shows a screen shot of the dragon and it says something about the dragon transforming into a familiar figure which is Flemeth (according to the article).

The seeker though looks a little dark for being in the Chantry. I'm thinking there's more to this seeker than meets the eye or maybe it's just a seeker who knows lol.
