Wow......the Dwarves look.......modern. At least their outfits from what I can see. A lot as changed in ten years.
We don't know when the sequel takes place though(it probably starts right when the Darkspawn attack Lothering).

Mystery Girl's true form, maybe? It has the same horn layout. The red and black colors match the black whispiness and red in the girl's hair from the previously released image. Or maybe she's this dragon's daughter? Don't ask me how. Bioware characters aren't historically big on having simple family lives.
I would say that this pic was inspired from a scene in Lord of the Rings and that little bloke challenging the dragon is actually Gandalf.

But now I'm startig to think that she may also be a female qunari, one that is a mage and has summon and/or shapeshifting spells. She has white hair like the male qunaris, and if you pay attention, the dragon she summons/shapeshifts into has the same horns as the Ogres. Remember that the Ogres are darkspawn originated from female qunari turned into broodmothers. Her hair is also shaped like Ogres horns and partially dreadlocked (like the male qunaris).

Since the beginning I thought that the "dragon lady" was Flemeth, not only because of her appearence (white hair, same lipstick and eye color), but also because of her hability of shapeshifting into a dragon and the fact that it was said that she would appear in Dragon Age 2. My money is on her.
But now I'm startig to think that she may also be a female qunari, one that is a mage and has summon and/or shapeshifting spells. I've noticed the same thing too, but I never thought that it could be a female Qunari. This is very intriguing.

Tis true, I used to have it as my background before Origins came out. It was the picture for the High Dragon on the Origins main site.
Linktacular!!!
But Mary beat me to it

So I'm guessing that the story technically starts in the Anderfels and then moves back to Hawke's POV in Lothering. Yeah, I guess this makes sense.
The game takes place in the Free Marches.

Yeah, I do see some differences... the horns are different, as are the wings, and there are no spikes on the tail.

What if Flemeth is actually Andraste? That would be quite a twist!
Anyway, I'm over-imaginative today.

I never noticed this before... but does anyone else find it strange that Ogre's have littlle loincloths?
Just seems like something a 15ft tall behemoth wouldn't really concern itself with.
ogres are actually quite modest.

Primary enemy of the game will be some sort of cult (kind of like a larger version of the cult at Haven) and the Dwarf guy is the leader while the chick is the tsundere bodyguard that betrays him for love.
Hawke's beard is just too manly afterall.
The dwarf is telling Hawke's story and is the Narrator we've heard about. The lady is a Seeker from the Chantry and is attempting to learn Hawke's story and his motivations for whatever reason.
My issue of GI came in the mail today. Overall a fairly underwhelming preview with not many reveals, though the dialog wheel didn't look bad from the one image it was shown in, kinda neat actually.

So does the GI article actually show the user interface in any of the screens? And does it specify what platforms the screens are from?

The seeker though looks a little dark for being in the Chantry.
Seems appropriate to me.
