Why? Because its David Tennant. I can think of no better person to add to the yet-to-be-announced cast of Dragon Age 2. The dude is an amazing actor and would really fit into the game without destroying the spirit of Dragon Age. Not to mention, the "Physician" idea I read towards the beginning of this topic would make for a fine Easter Egg.UndercoverDoctor wrote...

I vote for James Purefoy. He works well with and without a beard.

I'm not a fan of Doctor Who, Tennant actually also played Macbeth in Stratford (being of the Royal Shakespeare Company), for those of you that want moar Tennant.

Hamlet, I think, not Macbeth. JP also good, though.

It was Hamlet. David Tennant rather excels in eccentric roles such as the manic Tenth Doctor and the crazed Hamlet. I must say though that I am not too familiar with James Purefoy's work, but from what I've seen he'd be cool too.AllThatJazz wrote...

As I said in the Easter Egg topic, I don't really believe that getting David Tennant for Dragon Age 2 will be too difficult, especially for what would be a week or two of voice work. Now that he's no longer playing the Doctor, he doesn't exactly have as busy of a schedule as he used to. DA2 may have a few problems, but its nothing a good Physician can fix haha.

Like I said, "awesome and dumb at the same time." I kind of feel like starting a "David Tennant in Dragon Age 2" group and putting that as a slogan. Too bad I'm too lazy to make a group lol.AllThatJazz wrote...

Considering what the 11th Doctor did at the end of the season I wouldn't be surpirsed.

A lot of people don't like David Tennant, apparently.
That or they're disappointed that Ferret isn't doing his Brian Blessed impersonation.
Pick one.
I'd enjoy Tennant as a dwarf, but it seems Varric fills the Dwarf role.

I wonder if that restored all the missing RTD continuity (I loved that was a plot point of the fifth season!), as well....
