Ok, I'll wear the "We don't like that guy" hat and ask..
Do we really need this forum?
I mean, look at the old one.. 90% of all posts in the past two years in that section were.. posted in that section in error.
The devils advocate...

Agree.
The occasional on topic tools developer thread could always be posted in the builder section to which the tool most applies.

I think we do need a stick with a list, and link to the tools we all use to build, leto, lilacs, codi and NWNX. now that would be usefull...

To be honest that'd be better suited to seperate threads in the CC, toolset and gen disc (for player-related tools) to be relevant. This developers' category does seem a little defunt to me, at least on the old boards, as there are few such projects going on at the moment - NWNX and NWShader etc have all been represented primarily on other boards even on the old forums.SHOVA wrote...

I'm in the process of banging my head against... erm I mean building a tool at the moment (I'm actually building it for myself, but think it might be of use to others) but to be honest I wouldn't post it in here. I'll post it where people who might have a use for it would see that it exists (if it ever gets finished). My problem is converting my vb 98 skills to vb 2008 (.net - Aarghh!).
