The other characters don't need to come back. I love them all but I don't see them changing the story of Dragon age in anyway

Oghren. He got bumped up to bro tier after seeing his fade dream. That was just depressing, it was like that everyday for him. The only time I've felt genuinely sorry for a fake person.

I will always wait for Morrigan to turn up with her child in forthcoming games, though I do not expect to see her in DA2. I mean she headed west of Ferelden and if I know well the main storyline of DA2 takes place in the Free Marches which is in an other direction.

Although the story of DA2 will start in Lothering and maybe we will be able to see the party members who were present there - including Morrigan and even the Warden himself!

Also I add that Sten was imprisoned for several days in Lothering before the coming of the Darkspawn and IF someone left him in the village then he should be in his cage during the battle as well.

However, Sten might appear later in the game as well. All we know of him is that he returned to his people after the Battle of Denerim. Maybe the Qunari will send him on a mission to the Free Marches this time.



Also it could easily happen that we'll see the ruler of Ferelden as well or at least hear of him/her whoever it is, just like in Awakening.

I would also risk to say that probably we'll hear of the outcome of the final battle and whether our Warden survived it or not.



But if I could choose, I would bring Alistair back. He was a great character and he truly became a friend of mine. I wish to enjoy his company again

Aside from Morrigan, who I think be in it anyway...



Sten - I want to see what he did after the blight, and I think DA2 will be set near his homeland too?



Zevran - I don't think his character was fleshed out enough. (Though I didn't include him in anything, so It's probably just me)



Shale - Definitely want to see if she became a dwarf, or even if she went on that hellbent pigeon killing spree.





I would also wet my pants if there was a random encounter where Hawke sees my warden and Leliana travelling somewhere.

While it might be nice to see characters in passing, it wouldn't make sense to have most of them appear as major characters in Hawke's story - and certainly wouldn't be appropriate for the LIs to be available to your new character.



That said, Leliana was my favorite, followed by Zev, so I wouldn't mind seeing a cameo of either one. Alistair is likely, considering I believe the canon ending has him as King. Oghren would be amusing, maybe some of the characters from Awakening that your Warden never gets super close to.

As I think after Awakening the story of the Warden is told and dead, I just want to see Morrigan and her child. Hear that my warden and his new land are there and Alistair is king... all the rest? I don't care. As I said, the story is told and there is nothing interesting left.



I am looking forward to a new hero, companions and story... no necromancy and beating the dead horse.

I want to see what happened to ALL of them! Equal love for all team mates! Unfortunately that is not very likely to happen. T_T

My favorites were Leliana and Morrigan, but I think I'd rather have Leliana's sister or cousin or whatever, somebody who looks and sounds like her, so she could again be a team-member and LI . Morrigan should be back in some kind of important story-related role, not an actual party member. Shale should be back as the female dwarf LI (with the new dwarf name, body, and voice, after her successful quest to return to normal). I'd like to see Wynne just to see that she's still alive. The others I don't really care about, they could make Anora and Allistair joint-rulers of ferelden, that'd be OK I guess. But Leliana (or a relative that looks and sounds like her) as a team-mate/LI and Morrigan as not a team-mate but with a major role in the story, that's what I'd like to see most.

I wouldn't mind a cameo from Leliana, Alistair and/or Anora, and Zevran. But really, on the whole, I want DA2 to focus on being DA2. Standing on its own and with unique and interesting characters of its own. Not rely on prolonging stories from DAO or Awakenings that should be finished (or should be finished in unique DAO/DAA expansions).



That said, I sigh about Morrigan. I really would rather her not be associated in any way. I love my homegirl, but I don't want her eclipsing the entire series with her plots.
