Late last night;

I used the hidden door to get the drop on an Ogre Mage but Lendarn is the real threat down there... fortunately some fireballs softened him up before he managed his normal ‘Web’/ ‘Lightning’ inanity. I decided to buy a potion, Insuring scribe success, then purchased a “Wand of Fire” from Erdane & collected the book of charisma for Cassia.
Today;
I still had a “potion of invisible” so we stopped at High Hedge to buy three scrolls of ‘Invisible’ and two of ‘Identify’ from Thalantyr before continuing on to the Lighthouse map... Alesia cast ‘Invisible’ (scroll) on Krimlor and he strolled past all the guards to grab the book of Constitution & the “Wand of Paralysing” for her, then simply glugged the “potion of invisible” and walked out.

Alesia used her new wand to stop yet another Ogre Mage and we bashed a “Helmet of Defense” out of him for Cassia then Pot used 5 shots of his “Wand of Frost” to dispatch the two Battle horrors guarding Durlag's Tower and an extra shot to kill the 2nd floor Greater Ghoul at the roof exit... unfortunately Alesia has all her points in ‘Detect Illusions’ so it took us rather a while to cross the permanent stun trap and reach the roof. Fireballs killed the Basilisk for a nice sword and Cassia claimed the point from the Wisdom book.
On the up side, good old Pot can now cast ‘Invisible’ which should help keep him alive but his wand is out of play until I can afford to recharge it.
Current location; Beregost... waiting for my new armour to be made.
Blackstrider, blade 4, 64 kills... mostly wand of fire group shots.
Alesia mage 2 thief 3, 5 kills. 2 death.
Grond, archer 3, 17 kills.
Cassia, were cat 3, 21 kills. 1 death.
Krimlor fighter 2 Cleric 3, 12 kills.
Pot mage 3, 4 kills. 4 deaths.
p.s .. Alesia got the Dex fashion accessories.

Did Candlekeep, all the chores, and the two baddies. Left with a Composite Longbow and loaded up on arrows. Forgot to get Imoen some armor. Ru'in & Imoen cleared first area using Ru'in's stealth to better choose when and where they fought making good use of crossfire tactics. Dismissed Xan and company and grabbed a diamond on the way out.
Heading east towards FAI Imoen once again took a misstep and drew the attention of some wolves (dire this time). They chaced the group into another group of giberlings and Imoen once again got eaten. Ru'in managed to break free and cast hide in shadows. She then hunted down the remaining wolves and giberlings and systematicly killed them from afar before claiming Imoen's gear and a Ring of Protection.
Cleared the map using stealth and hit and run tactics. Ru'in snuck up on an ogre and took him down from a distance with three well placed shots gaining a belt of some-such which needs to be identified eventually. Her exploits eventually gained her a level
Revived Imoen at FAI, attacked by Tarnesh at the steps. Guards claimed the kill. Picked up the ring of wizardry, Jahiera and Khalid joined and the group dispatched the hobgoblins north of the inn with no troubles, rested, then head South. Imoen and Jahiera both gained a level on a pair of dread wolves.
Said the wrong thing to Marl in Beregost, got chased by spiders through the streets, took down Karlat & Silke (Ru'in gained another level) and gained a Bard for my trouble.
Ru'in: Ranger 3 / 84 Kills
Imoen: Thief 2 / 9 Kills / 1 Death
Jahiera: Fighter Druid 2 / 2 kills
Khalid: Fighter 1 / 2 kills
Sir Garrick: Bard 1

Legions Update 2
Finished off the Firewine Ruins - Lendarn becoming another silence victim to avoid the danger of bouncing lighting bolts.
Completed all significant encounters in the remaining non-TotSC areas prior to the Cloakwood. Optio sacrificed himself briefly against Shoal and then nearly got killed again when Legate went over to the enemy. One other close escape when the party was ambushed by a basilisk en route to the Red Wizard area. Fortunately I had one mirroring potion to fend off the attack and a first use of call lightning by Optio soon dealt with the basilisk.
Finished off at Ulgoth's Beard where, unfortunately (for him), Dushai noticed Vexillarius' fingers in his pouch.
ussnorway's post reminded me of the scimitar on the roof at Durlag's Tower. As Optio is the main melee character and was the only one without a proficient magic weapon (I let Drizzt go free) I thought I should go and get that. On the way met a horrendously lucky Battle Horror. Despite it needing a critical to hit Optio for most of the battle and 5 attackers needing between 15 and 19 the Horror did over 3 times as much damage as the whole of my party. Eventually, with Optio down to 2 HPs and Caesar taking damage, I gave up the melee attempt and used a call lightning on it.
In the tower a first successful use of traps helped kill the ghost, but Kirinhale proved more difficult due to regeneration and use of etherealness. With 3 characters charmed I decided to seek shelter and eventually managed to hide until everyone was in control again and I could go downstairs. After resting came back for another go and this time she was not quite quick enough. Left the below ground areas at least for now - I've not decided whether to do them yet.
After resting and resupplying with missile weapons the Cloakwood will be next.
Optio, F5 / D6, 55 HPs, 212 kills 1 death (Shoal)
Vexillarius, Blade 7, 45 HPs, 46 kills, 1 death
Auxiliary, Bounty Hunter 7, 38 HPs, 82 kills
Caesar, Berserker 6, 69 HPs, 223 kills
Centurion, Priest of Lathander 6, 39 HPs, 63 kills
Legate, Kensai 6, 67 HPs, 172 kills

Krimlor's version of events (14)
Cassia takes a lightning bolt and a poison arrow while attacking Hareishan. Three blue potions keep her alive until Krimlor can clear a route through guards to slow the poison, while Pot has used horror and sleep to stifle resistance. Grond has kept a stream of arrows up while Blackstrider and Alesia have used LMD, chromatic orb and missile weapons.
The ogre jailor is next, followed by Natasha. Cassia puts up a good fight with Davaeorn until she is held and an ettercap summoned. Her death cannot be prevented but Grond uses his flail to avenge her. After flooding the mine we head back to a temple to revive our were cat.
Alesia buys a 2nd potion of power from Black Lily. The Low Lantern is a typical mess (hate this battle), with Krimlor silencing himself, Alesia, Grond and Cassia but not Vay-ya. Desreta forces Cassia to retreat, then does the same to Krimlor as Pot fails to land blindness or horror. Several blue potions are glugged as Grond and Blackstrider shoot Vay-ya down then we converge on Desreta. Cassia glugs another potion before the battle is won.
Sunin and Maka injure Blackstrider despite mirror images and armour, but not enough to have to run. Krimlor is doing the same to Joular and Grond has Sunin catching arrows aplenty, and once Maka is blinded Blackstrider steps away for some target practice. Alesia and Pot now have matching rings of wizardry.

Blackstrider, blade 6,32 kills.
Alesia mage 4 thief 5, 23 kills. 1 death.
Grond, archer 5, 137 kills.
Cassia, were cat 6, 141 kills. 2 deaths.
Krimlor fighter 4 cleric 5, 59 kills.
Pot mage 5, 17 kills. 1 death.

We'd like to do more but can no longer connect (between an old Directplay game, Windows 7, Linux, Hamachi, broadband and cable). We've spent a long time trying to get it to work - can both run multiplayer over a network and not sure which end the problem is.
Grond0 has BG:EE, I'm waiting impatiently for the Linux version and hopefully that might resolve the issue. Would be awesome to have a larger party!
My solo assassin is missing, too. It is likely not up to date, there has been hundreds of runs through all these threads after all.

Cleared the temple area East of Beregost, ran across a Vampiric wolf, luckily Ru-in had a quiver of +1 arrows and the groups took it down but not before it took a chunk out of Jahiera. Khalid and Imoen gained a Level for the kill. Revived Jahiera, bought some +2 arrows @ Beregost and began clearing the area again .Was chased by another vampiric wolf that soon turned into a pack of Dread wolves and a few Wargs as well. Jahiera cast Entangle but had no effect. Ended up revealing the whole map getting enough distance from them. Garrick gained a level once the last Warg dropped and the group finished off the remaining wolves. Garrick memorized Sleep which he used on the hobgoblin bandit leader. Rescued Corianna and learned of the Basilisk. Back to Beregost to rest and regroup.
Ru'in: Ranger 3 / 108 Kills
Imoen: Thief 3 / 13 Kills / 1 Death
Jahiera: Fighter Druid 2 / 7 kills / 1 Death
Khalid: Fighter 2 / 4 kills
Sir Garrick: Bard 2 / 1 Kill

We talked with Jaheira and she directed us to Nashkel to solve local troubles there. On the way, south of FAI, we encountered our first disaster: a pack of two Dire Wolfs, two Dread Wolfs and a horde of Xvarts on our heels... *Run for your life!* but Pot wasn't quick enough and one Dire Wolf bite him for 3 out of his 4 total hp. Cassia tried to interfere but second wolf was quicker and Pot fell... Fled to FAI to revive Pot and back to south to take our revenge:

Area cleared, Ring of Protection went to Cassia. Area south of Beregost was also cleared, found some healing potions in local cave and Boots of Stealth went to Grond (his scouting abilities improved a bit and he is now named Grond The Pathfinder).
Sneaked through the next area and arrived to Nashkel. Walking through the local farmyards Krimlor kick something hard with his bare foot and broke the finger that was followed by a long violent tirade using local idioms. *Well, at least you do not run into one of those numerous cow patties, brother*, chuckled BlackStrider. As it turned out that was some kind of armor, hidden in the dirt. *You found, you'll wear*. *Me?! Wearing greenish like some of those tree huggers?! Nay!* *Well, we could color it pink, if ye like... Besides, looks like this is some kind of smith work, not one of those fashion baubles. Should be practical.* Puffing and muttering irritably Krimlor pulled the Plate on. *Not bad, not bad...*, noted Cassia and we moved forward.
Carnival was next. We had just enough money to purchase Necklace of Missiles and Shield Amulet. On the mines outskirts we found one more Wand and confronted Greywolf. Cassia Doomed him, followed by Pot's Blindness, two shots from the wands and the finalizing stone into the head:

Back in Nashkel we collected our reward from Oublek and confronted Neira. Command, Blindness and when she began chanting something - wand of frost blast:

Through the Xvarts village to the area north of Gnollish Stronghold. Helped Jared (got Boots of the North) and assaulted the Stronghold. Alesia got Gauntlets of Dexterity, BlackStrider read the Tome of Leadership and Influence and Dynaheir was sent to the Joviar Juggler inn to make company with Jaheira and Khalid.
Current state:
BlackStrider: Blade(4), 75 kills (Dread Wolf);
Alesia The Ghast Hunter: Mage(2)/Thief(3), 25 kills (Ghast);
Grond The Pathfinder: Archer(3), 92 kills (Ghast);
Cassia The Furious: Shapeshifter(3), 91 kills (Dire Wolf);
Krimlor: Fighter(2)/Cleric(2), 59 kills (Greywolf);
Pot: Mage(3), 0 kills, 1 death.
to be continued...
@Everyone: Glad to have this thread revived. Let the fortune smile upon all of you, friends!

No problems in the Cloakwood, with none of the main druids managing to get a spell off. Before taking on the mine went back to resupply with throwing axes. After beating a way back through the wyverns the legions returned and silence was again used to negate the threat of the mages outside the mine.
In the mine Auxiliary made his first backstab of the game to soften up Hareishan for others to finish off while he scampered away. Natasha managed to get a confusion off, but only with her dying breath. The ogre mage went one better following a confusion with a flame arrow, but still caused no concern. I didn't try to protect against Daveorn's spells and he got off a full complement despite being at near death for quite a while (protected by successive mirror images). A successful hold on Optio resulted in a fatality and to make room to carry his equipment home Vexillarius used a couple of intelligence potions to learn a variety of spell scrolls that had been bought in Ulgoth's Beard.
In the city undertook the major encounters. Again most were done with little or no preparation, though there was a bit of buffing and a couple of fireballs cast at the start of the Iron Throne battle, together with another useful silence.
Off to Candlekeep, where for once I was guilty of killing the Iron Throne leaders. However, that did not prevent me evading justice by diving into the catacombs. Quickly ransacked the tombs for useful items, though I'm no longer collecting most treasure as I've bought everything I need. In the spider area Prat's party managed to confuse Vexillarius, but not inflict any significant damage. The spiders were massacred easily enough (3 characters now have the choice of item-based free action so I didn't even bother with trying to disarm the web traps) and the basilisks got fried by fireballs from out of sight.
The party has just arrived back in Baldur's Gate and rested up ready for the next session.
Optio, F6 / D7, 69 HPs, 291 kills 2 deaths (one to Shoal)
Vexillarius, Blade 8, 50 HPs, 77 kills, 1 death
Auxiliary, Bounty Hunter 8, 41 HPs, 110 kills
Caesar, Berserker 7, 78 HPs, 308 kills
Centurion, Priest of Lathander 7, 45 HPs, 76 kills
Legate, Kensai 7, 77 HPs, 221 kills

Whats broken about it?
Pros; You can shift at level 1 (other druids have to wait until level 7).
Cons; like the pallie this class is front heavy and starts to get out classed by the other kits by the time you see tob... IMO from level 15 you are mostly better staying out of wolf form.
I found Improved Shapeshifting component from SCS v19 full of bugs (esp Adv kit) but it does have some good ideas... It's always your game!

Legions Update 4
At the Iron Throne Auxiliary laid a few traps that convinced Cythandria to try (unsuccessfully) to surrender. Down to the Undercellar to confront Slythe. Auxiliary got a nice backstab to deal with him quickly, while Krystin failed to get a spell off. Also acquired a cloak from Quenash.
Went to the palace and realised I'd forgotten to pick up my invitation! Returned and buffed up with some basic spells and abilities (a rare use of offensive spin by Vexillarius), but didn't bother with potions. The first two dopplegangers exploded quickly. Although the third killed Liia, Belt had still taken only minimal damage and the remaining dopplegangers were quickly finished off - Auxiliary being the only party member to receive a slight scratch.
I considered doing TotSC to get the party closer to the level cap (currently 100k), but decided I would be better spending the concentration on BG2, so headed on through the maze. The waiting party in the Undercity were initially silenced, but Rahvin's exploding arrows caused a temporary retreat and the casters were able to try (and fail) to use spells by the time it was their time to die.
Tamoko got a flame strike off on Auxiliary before being splattered by Legate leaving the way to the temple open (and providing Centurion with an armour upgrade).
I decided I should fight on reasonably level terms with Sarevok, rather than just splat him, so only Caesar and Optio used spell protections initially. Legate got targeted with a stoning spell and quickly gulped a potion of magic shielding. Then Tazok appeared with a bang, while Centurion got confused by a chaos.
Tazok came under heavy attack, though he eventually fell to friendly fire from Angelo's arrows of explosion. Optio meanwhile had taken a potion of speed and was trying to occupy Sarevok and Angelo as far as possible. Then Caesar took over Angelo suppression duties while the others took advantage of Sarevok getting briefly caught in a web trap. Semaj also got stuck and paid the penalty.
Caesar finished off Angelo as Sarevok broke free and unfortunately I forgot that Optio was not currently protected by free action! Several of the party rushed to the rescue to try and prevent Sarevok from chunking Optio and indeed he did turn away to attack Vexillarius. However, Caesar in his haste to get there set off a skull trap on the way that killed Optio! Caesar also took a speed potion to keep ahead of Sarevok and ran him round in the web until he stuck again. Meanwhile Legate, disappointed at the lack of opponents, decided to bring a battle horror out to play.
At this point Sarevok had been at near death for a while and I expected him to die in the web. However, Centurion was the one who did that as he finally regained his senses only to get stuck in another web trap close to the battle horror. Vexillarius tried to help by dropping some gnolls on top of them, but the horror was not to be denied.
While the horror was trying to kill stuck gnolls Legate came up behind it and soon finished it off and the remaining members of the party then ran Sarevok round while filling him full of holes. After doing several hundred more HPs of damage to Sarevok I concluded regretfully that his unkillability had not been correctly stripped from him and I would have to reload the autosave. That was a shame as it had been a good battle, taking around an hour to complete.
Next time around I felt that I had given Sarevok all the chances he deserved in the first encounter and just power-gamed the battle. Everyone was protected against magic just in case and Sarevok was then fireballed from out of range before giving his speech. Normally that results in him attacking alone and that was the result here. He was kept occupied with several sets of summons, while everyone used missile weapons except Legate (who was out of throwing axes). This time I should think the battle took about 3 minutes until Sarevok fell.
Final BG1 stats
Optio, F6 / D7, 64 HPs, 298 kills 3 deaths (one to Shoal)
Vexillarius, Blade 9, 53 HPs, 85 kills, 1 death
Auxiliary, Bounty Hunter 8, 41 HPs, 114 kills
Caesar, Berserker 7, 78 HPs, 317 kills
Centurion, Priest of Lathander 7, 45 HPs, 77 kills, 1 death
Legate, Kensai 7, 77 HPs, 227 kills

Fair call - I did a bit of reading on ye old internet and that was the basic impression I got. There were issues of the greater werewolf shape not conferring +3 paws like it should or some such, and not protecting from normal weapons etc.
I'm running SCS v20 so hopefully I won't get too bugged down. But I've decided to keep my shapeshifter on hold and see if I can even complete an SCS game, powerbuilding and multiple reloads included!

Returned Zhurlongs missing boots and Landrin's stuff (Gaining Garrick and Khalid a level) and got the ring from a lonely housewife. Headed north and picked up Ajantis. Killed an Ankheg (Another level for Imoen, She duel classed to Mage)
Don't know what they were thinking heading into the scary hole/cave whatever. Ajantis and Jahiera both bit the dust but Ru'in managed to return the body of an ill fated boy. Revived members in tow the group headed back to the cave and Jahiera gained a level but the ankheg's soon proved too much for them. Imoen claimed a fireball wand and a few darts, Ajantis gets a Chain mail +1
Spent way too much gold reviving everyone yet again only to have Garrick charge blinly into battle and get himself killed against a simple hobgoblin. Took awhile to raise the gold to bring him back again (is he worth it I wonder...Ajantis would likely protest otherwise)
Ru'in: Ranger 3, 35 HP, 138 Kills (Vamp Wolf)
Imoen: Thief 4/Mage 1, 21 HP, 18 Kills (Black Bear), 1 Death
Jahiera: FIghter 3/Druid 3, 30 HP, 10 kills (Dread Wolf), 2 Deaths
Khalid: Fighter 3, 28 HP, 10 kills (Ankheg), 1 Death
Garrick: Bard 3, 14 HP, 3 Kills (Worg), 2 Deaths
Ajantis: Pal 1, 20 HP, 4 Kills (Ankheg), 2 Deaths
Kind of a messy run but Ru'in lives to fight another day

We continued exploration of southern and western areas. Vax & Zal, Sendai & Co, Krumm and Caldo all fell promptly. Sendai stubbornly chased Alesia so I hit her with Wand of Frost blast and she turned into the ice pieces (no Studded Leather +2 for Grond...

Drizzt area were cleared out of Gnolls before talking with Drizzt (every bit of exp. counts). Teyngan, Jemby and Zekar got starting blast from Necklace of Missiles (Jemby fell immediately), followed with Stinking Cloud (found on the Gnoll corpse a bit earlier) and Blindness. Alesia got a pretty Robe of Fire Resistance.
Bassilus was bad. Really bad... He held Grond (luckily Grond was hidden by the time spell hit him), meanwhile Pot cast Stinking Cloud and Bassilus Unholy Blight-ed him to death... Alesia hit with Blindness, Krimlor with Silence and that was the end of Bassilus evil reign.
Melicamp the Chicken failed to survive the Antichickenator, sad... At least clearing High Hedge supplied Pot with throwing daggers so he could start his own kills count. Back in Beregost we killed Karlat and returned Perdue his Sword.

Current state:
BlackStrider: Blade(5), 99 kills (Dread Wolf);
Alesia The Ghast Hunter: Mage(3)/Thief(4), 37 kills (Ghast); +Short Bow prof.
Grond The Pathfinder: Archer(4), 181 kills (Winter Wolf);
Cassia The Furious: Shapeshifter(5), 160 kills (Winter Wolf);
Krimlor: Fighter(3)/Cleric(4), 98 kills (Greywolf);
Pot: Mage(4), 2 kills (Cave Bear), 2 death.
to be continued...

Bad News: Multiplayer mode doesn't work in my funky franken-install so I'm not sure how I should go about creating our crew. An elegant solution would be greatly appreciated.
Best,

Btw. Since I was eager to start playing, I ran a solo sorceress through BG1. She dropped Sarevok late last night. I'm finishing up a second run with her now because I decided to tweak her spellbook and grab more tomes. If there is interest, I can post on her.

Ajantis cast protection from evil and the group took down Niera but not before she cast entangle...indoors so I was waiting for quite a while for everyone to get unstuck after the battle. Rested and had the first dream afterwards.
Imoen was screwing around in a manor house on the north side of Nashkel and she apparantly walked in on a couple at the worst possible moment. Knock first Imoen! Luckily she knew the sleep spell and was able to put the poor sod out rather than be forced to kill him when he attacked.
Ajantis found a Ankheg plate +2 in the mud.
Ugh! Picked a fight with Zordral, he cast mirror image before they could interupt. Sleep spells were ineffective and he cast horror which put half the crew out of commission then Imoen had the brilliant idea to try out her new wand. BOOM! Zordral, Bentha, Jahiera, Khalid and Garrick: All dead. everyone else in the room was badly wounded. Not to mention we lost 5 reputation and Ajantis is now pissed at everyone.
Ru'in: Ranger 4, 48 HP, 147 Kills (Vamp Wolf)
