I never ran this particular setup, however I tried out all these mods. 1PP usually crashed the game with Elementals, at least for me - skeletons don't casue CTD in my install.
But given there are so many versions of BG2 (I think 4), computer OS etc. it comes as no surprise to me that some installs work fine for me and not for others (and viceversa - I can't install 1PP "extended palette entries - full install" for example, and new graphics for Solars cause CTD)

Well, may be *odd* is not proper word here but it's just hard for me to imagine a person with Int 4 and Wis 18 at the same time...

Btw. I've sort of lost interest in my barbarian, Abbie. I'm thinking of rolling up a C/T as a replacement. I'll let you all know if and when I start a run.

Some notes on the character - Loki - he isn't your average do-goody ranger. He despises wild animals, and kills them via charm animal/backstab often.
Most of all, he enjoys backstabbing mages with poisonous weapons, and watching them die while invisible. His decisions are whimsical, and tends to be more chaotic neutral than good. I wouldn't be surprised if he became a fallen ranger.
Proficiences on start - 2* dagger, 2* short bow. Stileto is proficient in crossbows and staffs. Others almost never hit anything, so it's irrelevant - anyway, slings and darts.
But, on to my run.
First thing, I disbanded Imoen (sorry little sister), killed Xzar and Montaron. Some decent potions were found, and we were on our way to Friendly Arm Inn. Found a valuable ring there, which I decided to sell. On top of the stairs was a not-so-friendly looking mage. Loki's habits are backstab first, and ask questions later, yet he managed to roll a critical miss.

Ladies both bit the dust, but Tarnesh fell as well.
In the Inn, we heard stories about an Ogre stealing a girdle. He was soon discovered, and what happened is a rather simple tactic I often use, Ogres being the most obvious tactic - Blindness+arrows.

In SCS24, Ogre Berserkers use Rage as berserkers, so Blind or Slow are amongst very few valid options for disabling them - they do over 20 damage per strike, which can kill a 2nd level fighter in a single hit. I ain't fighting them in melee, ever.
Went to a small town of Beregost. Did some minor quests there, bought Crossbow of speed for Stileto, a +1 Dagger to avoid weapon breaking, a +1 shortbow and +1 sling. Fought through to Nashkel. Aquired Ankheg Plate and sold it immediately, since nobody can wear it. Accepted to investigate Nashkel mines. Did some scouting around, found Prism and agreed to be his bodyguard. Greywolf comes, drinks an Oil of Speed and gets blinded immediately

After that, he started running around, and finaly died near the watchtower after almost 2 minutes of giving chase.

I was rather recluctant to enter the mines, so decided to scout the surrounding areas first. Met a group of mercenaries from Amn. Another tactic used - Blindness/Traps.

Yes, she was blinded before conversation. Loki has a well-developed 6th sense about creeps looking for trouble, and his pack obeys his whims....

Killed the fastest dart thrower as well as his comrade, who was lured into traps,

his body can be seen in the upper left corner. Killed the Winter wolf there, and rested upon their remains...
Some minor stuff was also done - Gnoll Stronghold, Dryad of Cloudpeaks, Zordral in Carneval etc.
Got a few levels. and decided to fight Shoal the Nereid. aTweaks allows you to avoid instakill, but she's still very charming and deadly.

She called upon an Ogre mage, who managed to Hold Stileto and Stun Loki with Chromatic Orb.

Needles to say, he got blinded as all Ogres do.

In his wondering, he stumbled upon Stileto (Entangled as well, even tough by friendly fire!) and killed him

- yet, arrows evantually did the job on the blinded ogre.

As for Loki, neither does he forget, nor forgive.

Will post more progress later on.

and promptly destroyed.

Mutamin prefers to dispel Gaze reflection buffs, yet here he decided to cast Slow instead - he survived the initial backstab. Both Loki and Stileto drank invisibility potions immediately.
Even if Stileto doesn't have any points in dispeling illusions, he managed to remove the illusion buffs from the wicked gnome.

2nd backstab was survived as well, but next attack proved to be the end of Mutamin.

We still had some trouble with basilisks, which hit very often, but eventually we prevailed.
Next area visited - Ankheg infested farm. Heavilly potion-prebuffed, Loki entered the cave alone, used stealth to run to the treasure cache and grab the loot. Potion of strenght was used immediately, and ankheg population diminished shortly after.

Brun's boy was recovered as well, and the entire area cleared. Ankheg THAC0 is not good enough to punch through a -5 AC with succes, and 23 strenght ensures fast kills so danger is minimal.

Did the priestess of Umberlee as well. As for Loki, neither does he forget, nor forgive

Visited Ulgoth's. Bought this dart for my Avenger - it's a RR mod returning dart.

Equiped with magical weapons and buffed with a potion of Free action, we fought some Vampiric wolves near the Beregost Temple.

And finally decided to return to our main quest - investigate the mines of Nashkel. Most of the fighting was avoided via Invisibility, and we entered Mulahey's cave invisible.
Backstab proved only mildly effective, and Mulahey's first move was to cast a Mental Domination on Loki! His elven heritage obviously doesn't keep him sage from Domination, and he went hostile!
Even worse, Stileto got held. Does it get any worse? I reconsidered my options. My druid was in a nice position, and decided to turn the tables - Web was cast.

Even she failed her save. Now everything was held in place, apart my little gnomish mage, with no damage spells but a fully loaded Wand of Fire. First thing, she dealt with 2 skeletons which were attacking her

Next, Mulahey.

Domination, Hold and Web expired, and Kobolds were slain as well.

We rested upon their remains...

Upon exiting the mine, Loki scouts ahead and finds a band of wannabe-amazons. Given his overall outlook on life, he decides that swift actions are called for. Safe-zone of 3 traps is made near mine exit, and a Fireball+Oil give the amazons a warm welcome.

Outcome:

Telka dies to traps....

And Lamalha drops unconcius. Loki prepares for coup-de-grace

Dealt with Neira as well

And spent most of money on this - Loki's dream weapon for BG1

Rested in Feldepost's Inn, then went upstairs to try out my new dagger. Poor positioning saved Tranzig from backstab

But he started running towards the stairs. Pre-set trap killed him as he was exiting his room

Returned to the hills near Nashkel, buffed with Potion of Free action killed the Undead spawning there. I kept the +2 magical dagger, now having 3 +2 weapons for Loki.

Firewine ruins were visited, but only briefly - the best swordsman had to be tought a lesson not to be cocky. His gauntlets are very powerful for a backstabber ranger.

Went to Gullykin, and scouting revealed another well armed group. Set traps, sent Loki to kill the mage. He survives initial backstab, Loki drinks an invisibility potion (very few of those are left, but mage has to die to ensure relative safety) and backstabs again, killing him.

Loki then retreats to his group (and traps).

Stileto's traps now apply a Grease effect upon triggering and failing the save. 2 enemies got slowed, and priest manages to succesfuly Hold Loki in place. Having no Remove Paralysis, he's completely taken out of this battle.

My avenger druid Lorna loves disabled targets on the outside, allowing her to fully release her wrath - Spellpack's Call Lightning has a small AoE (unfriendly!) and delivers heavy damage, destroying the opossition

Dwarf proved very resilient, as they usually do

He finally succumbed to a Flame Arrow

My next stop will probably be some levels of Durlag's tower - I don't feel confident enough for Bandit Camp yet, and potion stock is rather low. An extra level wouldn't hurt either.
But now it's time to go to work for me - unlike Loki, I can't explore wilderness for magic items.
Best of luck all.

After that, went to Bandit camp. Entered the main tent under the cover of Invisibility, and killed the mage immediately.

Loki, potion buffed to wazoo, use hide&run backstabs on lone wondering guards, eventually clearing out the whole area.

Killed Aldeth in the woods, we sided with the druids.

Centeol was backstabbed, her spiders burnt with flame.

Finally, we arrived at the Cloakwood mine. Two guards near entrance were swiftly killed, and Loki extensivly buffed with potions. Killed one mage via backstab/poison.

2nd mage took 2 dispeling arrows (big mistake, those were all I had) and was still buffed with Mirror images. He tried for Chaos on Loki, but his 50% MR via potion saved him.

He proved very resilient, wasting his 2nd Chaos casting on summoned Orcs and hitting Lorna for 40 damage via Lightning bolt. He finally died after his mirror images were destroyed. Two fighters there died soon after.

We made our way to the final level, since I didn't want to use more potions. Several expired, so we returned to High Hedge and sold most of the loot. Bought some more potions, re-visited the Mine to fight Davaeorn. Several traps were set, everybody apart Stileto was invisible (he turned visible after setting traps). Loki tried for a Protection of Magic scroll use on Davaeorn, but he Dimension Doored away - the scroll was completely wasted. Cool, he teleported right into traps and got slowed. Still he survived.

There was no time to waste, attacking him was the only option - if any of my casters turn visible, there's a high chance of Sunfire-chunking. Daveorn's next spell got disrupted, and he died.

There's a bug is SCSv24 here, Daveorn should drop some scrolls, Stoneskin most notably. Yet, he drops a BIG healing potion instead, in this instance, he dropped 2 of them.

We marched to Baldur's Gate. On arrival, I've noticed that I still had "key to river plug". Decided to return to flood the mine. Got ambushed by 4 ettercaps, webbed, poisoned, and that was it.

A sad, sad ending. I got greedy for 2K exp points and died, while trying to save my Bounty Hunter. Will make a new party and try again.
Final toughts - can you ever go back after trying a no-reload? This really brings the adrenaline rush back to BG world...great fun! Probably some thief or paladin will be my next character.

Agreed. This strikes me as the way to play: fight until you die, triumph or fail.
Probably some thief or paladin will be my next character.
Looking forward to it!

Knowledge.
Most of the dangerous traps along the storyline release either a lightning bolt or a fireball. If you know where they are, you can buff up to 100% resistance before tripping them.
The web traps can also be deadly, but again if you know where they are you can take precautions: free action and invisibility will both keep you safe.
Best,
A.

Btw, my vote would go for the little people, considering your c/t choice. Portrait for half-orc is rather amazing, otoh.
Also, I did a solo SCS BG1 run with a half-orc c/t (with reloads) and one thing annoyed me beyond belief - thieving skills button under special abilities. Causes severe burnout, at least for me, even tough the class itself is a rather original blend of abilities.

Not along the storyline.
I'm certain I can live through that
Don't underestimate the lightning traps: a few bad bounces is all it takes to end a run. Getting webbed in proximity to improved spiders isn't fun either.
But yes: so long as you prebuff or keep protective items in your PC's inventory, traps aren't really a threat.
That'll change. Once you get the hang of BG1, it's a pretty straightforward no reload. For BG2 I'm rather confident, yet in BG1 not even half so much.

I'm leaning towards the gnome as well- though I'm not entirely sure how to RP a follower of Urdlen.
Yeah. That'll get used at some point. I'm not quite seeing her as a thief though- especially given that she's wearing plate. That portrait seems to suit a pure-class priest of Lathander better. Someday.Portrait for half-orc is rather amazing, otoh.
Gate complained about that as well. It doesn't bother me so much for whatever reason- probably because of my playing style; I do a lot of micro-managing anyways so an extra click here and there isn't noticeable. Also, I did a solo SCS BG1 run with a half-orc c/t (with reloads) and one thing annoyed me beyond belief - thieving skills button under special abilities. You can assign a key (I tried T) for thieving. However, that only works if you press the special ability icon first. The best option I have got to date is to bind the special abilities function to the Y key. Then I press Y > T which are next to each other. I suppose I could do a macro or similar...
This has been mentioned on the Enhanced Edition request list recently (whistles innocently) so I live in hope.
I'll happily read about either C/T. Constitution looks suspiciously high but I think I know why.

I find it annoying because if I play a thief every trap and container will be dealt with, special ability is on the right of the screen and thieving on the left so a lot of mousework.
Makes sense. I use my trackpad for everything anyways so it doesn't both me so much.

Yes. Whichever character I play, that will become a white 18 and then a red 16. If I go with Amelie, it will likely remain a red 16.

Roliahv the Blackguard and Rasaad the monk have kicked and cleaved their way through Meilum and Greywolf. Samuel has been returned and Joia has her family heirloom once more. Viconia and Xan have been casting > sling & moonblade while Imoen is sticking with her shortbow.
The enemies don't stand up well to the sword / fist / doom / glitterdust / arrow combo.
