Thank you, Alesia - I'm feeling very confident about them for some reason.
Back to my run:
Finished Candlekeep Tombs with no trouble - there was 1 lighting bolt which severely wounded Ish'kafel but Prat's party was slain very quickly. Was sure to drink Mirrored Eyes potion before meeting the basilisk there.

Before ging back to Baldur's Gate, duo cleared some outdoor areas - 4 mages group (used Prot Magic scroll, it's not like I'll be needing them anymore), Basilisk garden, Kirian's group - I did not bother to enter dungeons like Firewine or Ulcaster.

After obtaining the Girdle of slashing, it was time for endgame. We entered Flaming Fist headquarters invisible, Ish'kafel buffed with Absorbance potion and killed the clerics inside.
Wounded body was delivered to the docks, Cythandria was quickly slain - backstab didn't kill her, but a critical from Ish'kafel did. Two Ogres posed little trouble afterwards.

Undercellars it is - Invisibility, Detect invisibile, Oil of speed were only prebuff. I started getting a feeling that Ish'kafel and Qwertzy are invulnerable - I had great confidence. Krystin's first spell was disrupted, which was hilarious - straight trough mirror images. A promising start.

next spell- disrupted as well. Slythe got backstabbed as well, but it didn't kill him.

With RR, Slythe wields revised Short Sword of Backstabbing - his multiplier is x6. Not enough to actually kill Ish'kafel, however enough to get him into danger zone.

He drank a healing potion and removed Krystin from existance - Undercellar customers who witnessed the blow still have nightmares.

As for Slythe, what goes around comes around...

We rushed to the Palace. We still had haste, so Ish'kafel used his Divine Might power as a sole buff. I have to thank Alesia's reports on this battle - Arrows of Dispelling/Darts of stunning proved very effective (dispel removes saves bonus from blur, making doppelgangers more vulnerable to stunning attacks)

We got teleported to thieves place, bought some potions (still had over 10K left), and entered the maze. I decided that I won't bother with traps there - instead, buffed with Apsorption, Fire resistance, and 1 Regeneration potion + Oil of speed + Giant strenght. Proved more than enough to finish the maze with little trouble.
Qwertzy had some fun with arrows of Detonation/backstabs with the Iron Throne leftovers in front of the Temple - they barely knew what hit them. Hide, arrow, run, stab, rinse, repeat.

Entering Sarevok lair at levels 8/8, Qwertzy 11- rest, heavy potion buff for Ish'kafel, Boots of Speed for Qwertzy who is to trigger the fight.
Semaj opens up with Malison/Flesh to Stone - cheap, cheap wizard. Qwertzy quickly responds with Magic Shielding potion. Following that, Semaj tries for a Remove magic, but it did not dispel Qwertzy's potion buff - irrelevant, we had 6 or so such potions - no saving throws will be failed.

Qwertzy drinks invisibility potion, and Ish'kafel is safe within his Sanctaury. Let's go to work. First, an arrow attack against Semaj to open him up for backstabs.

He responed with another casting of mirror images, prolonging the inevitable. That's fine, we are patient.
Angelo was not mirrored, however. Qwertzy starts drooling at this sight.
Backstabbed, poisoned, died without doing anything.

Again, invisibility potion, dispel arrow at Semaj. He doesn't cast mirrors again. Ish'kafel waves the wizard goodbye from the comfort of his Sanctuary. Tatoo of power released, indeed.

Tazok finally shows up - Ish'kafel, buffed to wazoo, kills him and hides in Sanctuary again - Sarevok's blows are both accurate and too damaging to handle. Qwertzy hit both Tazok and Sarevok with dispeling arrow, altough it did not seem to do anything to Sarevok - he was still very fast. Battle Horror joined the fight as well, but was completely ignored - Ish'kafel slashing AC is far to good for such creatures.

It was now a simple task for Qwertzy:
1....

and 2...

He finally gives up...

Reported back to the palace, and went to Amn.
