After my last run with a fighter character who reached the Temple of Bhaal but with all of his party wiped out by arrows of detonation from the Iron Throne party just outside, and then got killed by Sarevok, I am having another go...

This time it is Pingvyn the Paladin. Str 18/20, Dex 18, Con 18, Int 11, Wis 13, Cha 18. 2* in large swords, 2* in axes.

It is standard BG1/TotSC plus the latest patch and a fixpack.

I keep forgetting to take screenshots but I shall upload trhe few that I have as soon as I find out where WIndows 7 hides them.

Chapter One...

Did usual Candlekeep stuff and left equipped with chainmail, a long sword, large shield, helmet anda  magic dagger..

After seeing Gorion slain in an ambush, Imoen appeared and joined Pingvyn. Imoen swapped her potion of speed for the magic dagger Pingvyn had earned at Candlekeep.

The duo headed to the FAI, taking a healing potion off Xzar en route but declining to join up with him and Monty..

On arrival at the FAI, Tarnesh attacked Pingvyn but was killed. Pingvyn wasn't sure that it was safe to be with Khalid and Jaheira as whoever had killed Gorion obviously knew where they were heading so he turned down their offer of help too. Pingvyn also met a gnome who wanted help ridding her home of a spider infestation and a dwarf who had lost his girdle of piercing to an ogre south of the FAI.

Joia's flamedance ring was recovered from some hobgoblins just outside the inn. A strange ring was found underneath a tree.

On the way Beregost, the ogre with the belts was killed. Another enchanted ring was found in a hole in a rock.Has Pingvyn got a hidden benefactor who is leaving these magic items in his path?

At Beregost, Marl was calmed down and a book purchased for Firebead. After a night's rest, Pingvyn bumped into a bard with an offer of work for his mistress Silke. Silke turned out to be evil and was slain. Her money was enough to buy Pingvyn a suit of platemail.

Another bounty hunter, Karlat, attacked Pingvyn in one of the inns. Pingvyn had to use the potion of speed and a few healing potions but Karlat was eventually defeated. It didn't help that Pingvyn's sword broke mid-fight leaving him trying to fend off Karlat with a throwing axe.

Went west to High Hedge, recruited Kivan and retrieved Perdue's short sword.

The spiders in Landrin's house were killed and the group headed back north to return his goods.

Heading back south, the area south of Beregost was cleared and some enchanted boots were recovered. Pingvyn decided against returning them to the theiving owner although as yet he doesn't know the nature of the enchantment. Pingvyn also delivered a letter and received another magic ring from the grateful recipient.

Roliahv uses DUHM and the first greenstone amulet charge as Neera casts haste. Dorn is using bolts of biting, Imoen has acid arrows and Rasaad bullets +2. As Roliahv attacks he belatedly remembers a lack of fire resistance (60% with ring and helm) but presses on.

Neeral casts Greater Malison and switches to Magic Missiles, Baeloth is alternating between Magic Missile and a set of Minute Meteors. As the fireball explodes around Roliahv he glugs a solitary healing potion and continues his attack, Dorn switching to his Rancor blade and racing down the steps.

The Demon Knight is resisting the Magic Missiles but the wounds are rapidly mounting up. Roliahv hits again.
Posted Image

The Demon Knight is still falling to the ground as Roliahv kicks the nearby mirror into smithereens.

Ulgoths Beard is full of cultists. Dorn and Rasaad are badly wounded as we fight the first group off at the settlement entrance but a second group guarding a building are more easily disposed of. Our lack of divine spellcasting is exploited inside and we are lucky to escape without further death.
Posted Image

After resting up we speak to Hurgan Stoneblade, he urges us to take immediate action. Imoen and Rasaad sneak downstairs to thin out the cultists. Bad idea, this enhanced lot react badly so the rest of us glug potions of mirrored eyes and head down with far fewer buffs than we'd planned to use.

Neera is instantly silenced so wands up hobgoblins. Roliahv almost manages to throw potions of clarity to Rasaad - the monk saves against fear but Imoen does not.
Posted Image

Imoen is held then gazed (dying). Roliahv carefully shoots a toe with a dispelling arrow and shoves a potion down her throat as Rasaad glugs one too. Tracea Carrol is dead and Neera is using her quarterstaff after wanding in wolves to replace the hobgoblins. Baeloth is keeping Aec'Letec occupied...by running like crazy.
Posted Image

Baeloth is still running as the last cultist perishes.
Posted Image

Dorn and Roliahv both absorb health and intercept Aec so Baeloth can have some space. His Magic Missiles are hitting hard as are the melee attacks. Dorn is forced to run & glug but Roliahv is made of sterner stuff (almost twice the hit points) and Aec'Letec has no choice but to return to the Hells.
Posted Image

As for us, we need to return to the Thieves Guild and search for Sarevok.

Lucky the Wild Mage Update

I've a lot more surges, but most were irrelevant. Some of the more interesting ones was a greater doppleganger got mazed and in an ambush Lucky became a haste winter wolf from a surge.

I've also finally got a potentially bad surge, but lucky, was well, lucky this time. A wild surge: burst happened, dropping Jaheira, Imoen and Dyanaheir to nearly dead (they were all full health prior to the surge). Fortunately none of us were being attacked so no deaths. Dodged a bullet that time...
Posted Image

Lucky has done a lot of fights in Durlag's to try to get some more experience for his team. He now knows cloudkill, so he has a lot of incentive to get to level 9. We tried to take down Kirinhale but she was effectively invincible with her mass of charms and etherealness, so we just left. Think we've had enough of Durlag's and will try other areas.

Imoen sighs in exasperation as everybody else moans. "I just know where all the traps are silly" she says "this maze hasn't changed in years". Fortunately she is right, as she also proves to be about a welcoming committee.

(& a pleasure to have the right soundset in the Undercity - my BGT install plays the typical tavern ditty)

Neera and Baeloth re-enact the chessboard scene (the entire game slowing to a crawl with 4 webs and 2 cloudkills). Baeloth finishes off with a quartet of fireballs and then we pick among the remains for some arrows.

We've forgotten to speak to Tamoko but she has anticipated this and is waiting outside the dark temple. Roliahv finds the words to convince her to leave - but chooses to kill her instead; the Blackguard.

We buff for battle. Neera is on the left with Roliahv, the rest of us are on the right ready to pounce on Semaj if he teleports. Neera and Baeloth send in two webs each and Roliahv moves in. He is de-buffed immediately but our enemies are struggling in the web. Sarevok has taken a few hits by the time Semaj appears. Imoen switches target and uses an arrow to dispel Semaj. Dorn immediately poisons his bolts of biting but Roliavh hits hard and Imoen has de-buffed Angelo too. She switches back to Semaj with an acid arrow and claims the first kill.
Posted Image

Rasaad lands a huge (20 damage) bolt on Tazok but Dorn uses a poisoned bolt of biting to kill him.
Posted Image

Angelo survives a hit from Roliahv only for Dorn to kill him.
Posted Image

Sarevok takes a mighty beating as he struggles in the web. Neera has cast greater malison while Baeloth has hurled in several fireballs. After a lot of hits (several times the amount shown) Sarevok starts to dissolve.
Posted Image

329 days, 9 hours.

Roliahv, Blackguard 8. 96hp. 683 kills, Demon knight.
Dorn, Blackguard 8. 55hp (includes 5 for helmet). 228 kills, Greater Basilisk.
Neera, Wild Mage 9. 29hp. 68 kills, Greater Wyvern.
Baeloth, Sorceror 9. 51hp, 133 kills, Greater Wolfwere.
Imoen, Thief 10. 59hp. greater Doppelganger.
Rasaad, Monk 8. 39hp. 228 kills, Seniyad.

Gate70/Grond0 multiplayer attempt 27 - (2nd and final update)
Antimel, half-elf fighter/druid (Grond0) & Sajome, half-elf fighter/druid (Gate70)

I was expecting a relatively short session this morning, but got a bit carried away with druidic adventures - so Antimel and Sajome are actually back at the palace now about to report to Duke Belt for assignment to Athkatla.

The session started with capturing the charisma tome at the Gnoll Stronghold (for the second time as last night's session crashed at the end).  After helping Brage recover his senses the duo had enough funds to buy some full plate for Antimel and the Dagger of Venom for Sajome before going to the Nashkel Mine.  The kobolds were no bother; Mulahey managed to confuse and then hold Sajome, but meanwhile had been infested with insects and failed to get another spell away.

The amazons looked a bit daunting without summons available, so the duo moved on via Nimbul and Tranzig to learn the location of the bandit camp.  Before going there they cleared out an ankheg nest and told a local farmer where to find the remains of his son - he was grateful enough to boost our reputation up to 20.  That allowed the purchase of the Cloak of Displacement and Green Amulet from Ulgoth's Beard - also recovered Dushai's ring there.

At the camp Antimel started thrusting his spear vigorously through bandits - but got a bit too enthusiastic and broke it (one of 3 broken in the session).  The bandits seemed long on swords and short on spears so Antimel switched to her darts to invade the main tent.  Venkt managed to scare her, but paid the price and the others in the tent were unable to land a blow on Antimel before she recovered.

Silke was hit by insects during the cut scene.  Antimel confirmed that the insects would affect neutral characters by running Tarnesh round until the insects caught up.  The duo then pushed on with the main quest and rapidly traversed the Cloakwood.

At the mine the party there would have seemed an ideal opportunity to use the Green Amulet, but Antimel intended to open the battle by charming Genthore out of sight of Drasus and using him to attack the mages.  Before using charm she doomed him, not realising that would make him (and the others) hostile.  Her follow-up charm did work, but things looked bad when both druids were scared.  Fortunately, Drasus was occupied in killing Genthore, while Rezdan had died of insect bites and Kysus didn't hand out quite enough damage to kill Sajome (she was down to 4 HPs at one point just after this screenshot).  The duo ran away far enough that only Drasus followed and were able to kill him before coming back to finish off Kysus.

The boots of speed were put to use to run down the stairs near Hareishan and get away before she followed.  After dealing with a few guards who did follow, the duo carried on to Daveorn.  The battle horrors were pulled back one at a time and meleed fairly easily with the support of doom and fire protection.  Daveorn got a lightning bolt off, but received an insect swarm in exchange and was unable to complete another spell.  The duo had nothing that could hurt the mustard jelly, but still pulled it out of position to loot the treasure there.

In Baldur's Gate they picked up the dexterity and wisdom tomes, though not the intelligence one (went back for that later with the thought that 5 intelligence rather than 4 would allow a single potion of genius to make wands and scrolls useable).  Also collected the Helm of Balduran, the Shield of Falling stars and a spear +1 (from the Seven Suns - no more breakages for Antimel).  The Iron Throne was investigated with the help of one invisibility potion (just ran away afterwards).

At Candlekeep Antimel used the violet potion to get the strength to open the tombs.  However, the reduction in constitution made her fragile and she was surprised here to receive so much damage in the first tomb (she was immune to the lightning) and had to be careful in getting rid of the phase spiders.

The duo had been throwing up their meals on the journey, so back in Candlekeep got an antidote from Marek before taking on Slythe.  He had a bad day as the duo now had nymphs available and 3 of them + insects and poisoned dagger made a right mess of him.

At the palace, potions were quaffed before Antimel showed herself by casting defensive harmony next to Duke Belt.  Liia was pretty much abandoned to her fate, but Belt took only minimal damage - at this point 2 of the 3 remaining dopplegangers were held by nymphs and the 3rd stunned by a dart.  There was a bit of a hiccup at the end when Sarevok seemed to disappear briefly behind a screen of guards and Antimel only woke up to his location after being hit twice.  However, she healed up quickly in order to make use of potion buffs to clear enemies from the maze (except the mustard jellies).

Sajome tried to get the Undercity party fighting among themselves by sending dogs in, but several of those only managed to get Rahvin killed and the duo eventually skirted round the party and went on to the temple.  Sarevok was pulled out with a sling bullet and left stranded at one side of the temple when Antimel used an invisibility potion.  That allowed Sajome to try dispelling him; her second attempt worked making the subsequent run and shoot fight a lot easier.  By the end of the contest Sajome was down to a handful of throwing daggers and Antimel her last few darts.  However, both had significant healing capacity available so would almost certainly have been able to finish Sarevok off in melee if necessary.

As a postscript the duo travelled to the pirate cave (using the Green Amulet against the sirenes) to get the tome there.  Sajome did get a nasty shock against some worgs when hit be a bolt from the blue, but fortunately there was no immediate follow-up.  They then went on to Durlag's Tower to get the last wisdom tome (worth having as 21 wisdom provides both a bonus 3rd and 5th level spell).

Stats:
Antimel, fighter 6 / druid 8, 77 HPs (incl. 5 from Helm), 156 kills
Sajome, fighter 6 / druid 8, 64 HPs, 157 kills, 0 deaths
Antimel's HPs are just below average for her 19 constitution, whereas Sajome's are rather above average for her 17 constitution.  Sajome took the honours in a nailbiting finish to the BG1 kills race

Nice work Gate! That was an interesting run!

FYI: I've started yet another new character (F/M). She's completed her early game chores and is ready to begin the storyline.

I'll introduce her if and when I become fair certain that I'll see her through.

Thanks. Corey, I'll be leaving the savegames. BG2:EE is due out 25 November, I suspect the transfer is like BG1 to BG2 rather than a smooth BGT transition so Imoen might have dual-classed and lost her tomes (intelligence, dexterity). We'll see.

Good luck Alesia.

Edit, & Grond0 you need to add Sarevok to the killboard - it's a tie.

@Gate70, Grond0 - grats on yet another successful BG 1 run. I had a feeling you guys would make it through your first attempt. Once you team has access to level 6 spells, you guys can start pumping out the fire elementals and having lots of fun in BG 2.

Corey_Russell/Dogdancing Multi-Player No-Reload
Bannen, Fighter/Thief, 64 HP,  353 kills, Greater Doppleganger
Wewa, Berserker, 67 HP, 614 kills, Battle Horror

The duo decided they needed more cash, they they obtained the cache in the Ankheg Nest. We destroyed all the Ankhegs in the area - generally, we did well, though Wewa did get hit hard a few times.

Next up, we decided to take care of a few targets on the East side of the Map. First target was Firewine ruins to get the bracers from Melium - he fell very fast to Wewa's axes. Then we battled Kahrk. Despite Wewa attacking him first, when Bannen assisted with his dual-wielding long swords, Kahrk switched targets and started laying into Bannen, dropping him to 1/2 health. This was Bannen's cue to run and heal Wewa meanwhile, kept up her attacks and Kahrk finally lost interest in Bannen. But right about here Wewa finished Kahrk off.

We had lots of looting room so we decided to take on Molkar's band. Bannen forgot to use his greenstone amulet and got feared (oops). Wewa then switched targets and attacked the mages - she wasn't making much progress, but she wasn't dying either. Finally Bannen got a hold of himself and starting launching arrows at the enemies - the enemies starting to fall quickly after that.

We still had a little more room, So Wewa and Bannen entered the Firewine Bridge Ruins from the Halfling home - we destroyed the ogre mage quickly with us both dual-wielding. Wewa then stayed back until Bannen (protected by potion of absorption) could slay Lendarn - once done, Wewa assisted and it was just a mop-up. We got full inventory here so we left the area and sold at High Hedge.

Next target was Kirian's party. Plan was for Wewa to clear the nearby gnolls. Then she will gulp a magic blocking potion when Bannen gives the go-ahead and she will fire a necklace of missiles shot then charge. Bannen will then assist with his bow, prioritizing the enemy casters - this worked perfectly. We are full inventory once again, we leave and sell. We usually identify and sell at High Hedge, which massively inflates Wewa's kill count, with her fireballing the constantly re-spawning mobs.

We decide we need more money to re-charge the necklace of missiles - but when we sell it, we need 18,000 gold, we are a bit short. Thus, we take a stop by Durlag's. Wewa pulled two battle horrors due to a mis-understanding and she was dying - Bannen was forced to retreat earlier. The duo decided to cut their losses and retreat. Before coming back, each party member had a hill giant potion - the return was much smoother, with Wewa pulling one at a time, plus we brought more heal potions with us.

We also cleared the greater dopplegangers - difficult, with no dispel available, but Bannen used his arrows to quickly burn through the mirror images of the enemies. Still looked bad for Wewa, so Bannen decided to use his Bhaal Horror ability, which made two of the lesser dopplegangers run in fear - this gave us enough time to finish all of them off.

We only tried clearing the top levels of Durlag's (except Kirinhale's level), and the fights here were very smooth. We did in fact fill up on loot, which was our objective. Only thing that didn't go to plan was we tried to have Reggilio take the nymph's hair, but he refused (CHA check apparently) - guess Bannen's 3 CHA isn't good enough. Wewa then tried talking to him but Reggilio went hostile - well the resulting loot is what we needed, so we just left Durlag's.

We were able to recharge the necklace of missiles now. We put some things in the bank (barrel in Beregost) and decided to end our session here - Wewa has to work.

Thanks! What's kind of funny many of my full parties I just leave Kahrk alone even, but I just believe in our characters. I mean we beat Molkar's group with Bannen running fear! We must be somewhat tough.

We're a bit disappointed on Wewa's HP rolls though - she could have had 105 HP by now, but she only has 67 HP. I'm going on a trip this week (thurs.), and Dogdancing wants us to defeat Sarevok before I go, so we got a short term goal there.

Winthrop takes a long look at his tankard. "Shay" he slurs "You're layte. Your 6 (I think) brothers have lefht without yew. They all took throwing daggers so help yerself. Oh, and you need to be done by the 15th (of next month) as we're hoping to hear from Roliahv by then".

Strange, thought Carthusian VII as the innkeeper ****** publican slumps over his desk. Maybe Imoen has been spiking the drinks again.

edit. Carthusian almost sighs. If only the Mad Arcand would cast free action on the held monk before these four carrion crawlers finish devouring him.

Akira, Elven F/M: BG1 Overview (Part 1)

Before I get too deep into Akira's BG2 run, I should probably take a moment to cover her time on the Sword Coast. This post will likely make Akira's BG1 run look minimalist and efficient. It wasn't. My character angst had driven me moderately insane it seems: I ended up sending Akira through the early game in an utterly non-sensical pattern. Take a moment to mentally draw random lines between the crucial early BG1 destinations like Nashkel, Ulgoth's, the Friendly Arm, the Gnoll Stronghold, the Lion's Way, and Beregost. Have you done that? Ok. After you've made twenty more random connections, go ahead and scribble over the map like a toddler drunk off half-empty glasses of sambucca carelessly left on a celebratory table. Say "Mmm! Licorice!" and then scribble some more. That's a fair approximation of Akira's early game route. An initial decision to skip the hidden items (later reversed in the interest of saving time) contributed to the routing madness, but I think the main factor was me going slightly cuckoo. I'm better now, happily, but it is still very important that you all understand that you need to stop touching me- else the ambrosia voice will take over my mind again.

Anyhoo. By the time I had settled down, Akira had accumulated a standard pre Mulahey item set. Going around-the-horn (by the way go Tigers! And stop touching me!): Adventurer's Robe, Melium's Bracers, helm, Neclace of Missle/Shield Amulet/Greenstone, Large Shield + 1, RoW/RoP + 1, Piercing/Bluntness, Displacement, Short Bow +1/Axe +1. Potions rounded out the picture, naturally. Well equipped and with a loaded spellbook, Akira initiated the storyline.

Mulahey

Mulahey was taken down under Shield, Greenstone, Potion of Freedom, and Potion of Stone Giant Strength. Nothing to see here folks, keep moving!
Posted Image

Bandit Camp

Akira took a standard approach at the Bandit Camp as well: Darts of Stunning and AoE spell.

Here we see a literally stunned Teven standing helpless as his buds explode around him (Shield, Strength).
Posted Image

Next a literally stunned Venkt and his fiery companions (Shield, Greenstone, MSD, Pro Fire, Potion of Fire Resistance, Potion of Stone Giant Strength, Potion of Regeneration).
Posted Image

The Amazonians met a similar fate (Greenstone, Potion of Freedom, and left over buffs).
Posted Image

(Though they had earlier made progress thanks to an opening backstab)
Posted Image

The Cloakwood

Stealth was the order of the day in the Cloakwood. Akira arrived in the master's lair having fought nary a critter. Davaeorn and his Horrors were taken down under ProMagic, Shield, Pro Fire, Potion of Fire Resistance, Potion of Stone Giant Strength, Potion of Heroism, Oil of Speed.
Posted Image

On the way out Akira paid a visit to some old friends. Most of the buffs here were left over from the Davaeorn encounter. A Potion of Absorption was layered in, however, to take Drasus's flail out of play.
Posted Image

Scorchers for the finish.
Posted Image

And that was that. Part 2 will cover The Gate through The 'Vok.

Best,

A.

 Akira, Elven F/M: BG1 Overview (Part 2)

Ok. Let's finish this, shall we.

Making up for lost time, Akira hurried through both her first visit to the Gate and her return to Candlekeep. Invisibiity spells kept combat to a minimum. At the Seven Suns, Shield and Strength helped Akira power through the dopes. In the Catacombs 100% resistance to fire, electricity, and poison neutralized the traps and phase spiders. Knock spells yielded access to the tomes. Pro Pet granted Akira a going away present in the form of easy XP.

On to the endgame. Duke Eltan was rescued running Stoneskins, Ghost Armor, Strength, Greenstone and DUHM.
Posted Image

Slythe had no answer for the Jelly.
Posted Image

An already scared Krystin was ended by arrows soon after.
Posted Image

The Duchal Palace fight had to be done twice due to an inventory screen crash. That fight is pretty much the last one I'd want to redo, but it worked out fine both times. Akira was well prepared. Buffs can be read off the screenies (sorry: I'm pressed for time). Arrow of Dispelling->Axe+Wand of Frost finished each of the dopes.
Posted Image
Posted Image

After stealthing through the maze with 100% resistance to fire and electricity, Akira healed the damage from the MM traps and then broke past the ambush party. Quaffing a Potion of Invisibility immediately after an enemy divination cast allowed Akira to avoid combat.
Posted Image

Finally, Sarevok. This was straightforward of course. I'll spare you the details and merely note that F/Ms enjoy ProNM in addition to standard buffs and bows: that'll spell un-fun for Sarevok and his cronies everytime. I don't think there is an easier class to solo SCS Sarevok with. Akira's slow axe was her only impediment here (as a reminder, Aule's is my first choice for this fight).

First an inventory shot.
Posted Image

Now the beat down. Akira opened with dispelling arrows.
Posted Image

She enjoyed a movement rate advantage and immunity to all ranged attacks throughout the fight. Her wands sped up the process.
Posted Image

Watch'em fall.
Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image

Akira's slow axe made clearing the skeleton warriors more trouble than it was worth. She nixed a few, but then decided to forgo the buffed melee finish of Sarevok and instead ended him with the bow and Wand of Frost while the skellied looked on.

See you in ToB, brother!
Posted Image

(gotta go.)

A.

What attack does the wand of frost make in your installation Alesia?  I only ask because in mine it's a cone of cold, which would be difficult to use safely at the palace.

In my BG1 install it's single target; in my BG2 setup it's a cone.

Noppers. What I do know is that they went down quick (the dopes that is- not the dukes).

Bannen, level 7 fighter/level 8 thief, 71 HP, 441 kills, Greater Doppleganger
Wewa, level 8 berserker, 74 HP, 777 kills, Greater Basilisk

Our first mission of the session was clearing out the basilisks in basilisk country - this got Wewa her final level of the game. She got a disappointing 7 HP from the level up, only putting her HP at 74. Bannen is only 1/2 fighter and has 71 HP - that is not right at all. But the duo must press on. Unsurprisingly, Bannen assisted from the shadows when he could, and the duo did this without any trouble.

Next we cleared out the first area of the Cloakwood. With the dwarves dual-wielding here, the kills went extremely quickly. We killed Senyiad, and then we left for the next area. Since Wewa had the free action ring, she lead the way here while Bannen assisted with his bow - this area got Bannen's final level of the game. We also battled Centeol, mainly to sell the Spider's Bane, cash is really tight at the moment (less than 3000 gold).

We return to High Hedge to identify/sell then to Durlag's Tower merchant to buy all his blue potions. Finally we return the Cloakwood, doing a bee line to Drassus. We did pay a stop by the Wyvern Cave for the heads, we need the cash.

Finally we get to Drassus. The plan? Wewa gulps a magic blocking potion then charges, then fires off Necklace of Missiles at the Mages (she's using her shield). Bannen throws a potion of explosions - mages still living, we do the same attacks once more and the mages die - the duo quickly burns down Drassus and Genthore - success!

Since Wewa is going to be tanking mages, and also her free action ring gets in the way of her haste boots. Therefore, the duo switched Bannen's fire resistance ring for her ring of free action. We looted the nearby barracks and then had to leave to sell once more.

When we return we tried to make a bee line for Davaeorn, but we weren't' invisible. For Heirashan, Wewa showed her self (protected by potion of absorption) and spammed the necklace of missiles until the mage was dead - once that was true, Bannen then assisted, complete mop up - the remaining enemies couldn't stop us from getting to Davaeorn.

Bannen de-trapped Davaeorn's hallway, then Wewa charged with only a few buffs, her potion of absorption was still active, and she put up frost giant strength and potion of magic shielding. The duo's attacks were incredibley successful - Bannen was assisting with his bow and got a huge hit of 26 damage - Davaeorn teleported once more and then Wewa got into the action with 21 damage herself - Davaeorn is slain!

We try to loot what we can, and once utterly full, we leave and sell - our gold is much better now, yay for that (30529 gold). Wewa hurting and tired, so we ended the session here - City of Baldur's Gate, get ready for some dwarves!

Nice work Corey and Dogdancing! It would be great to have another multiplayer success.

A.

Btw. Does Dogdancing actually dog dance- as in the sport dog dancing?
