@CKT, the Song & Silence mod introduces four bard kits (Acrobat, Dirgesinger, Gypsy and Chorister) and four thief kits (Burglar, Sharpshooter, Shadowdancer and Soulknife). It's a good mod, none of the kits are overpowered.
Where did you get your Anti-Paladin kit? And the Blackguard kit you used before for Mordred?
Here you go.
The first was recommended by PicklePepperPiper: http://www.shsforums...-bg2-by-x0abar/
The second, by Grond0 is chock full of kits including various Anti-Paladins, Samurai, Ninja. Here is that one:
http://www.shsforums...05-megamodkits/
You can get lost in that second one & but you can select the kits you want to bring into your game but I feel some are overpowered and/or take too long to develop.

Corslinger the halfling slinger entering trilogy no reload challenge...
Well Corslinger and friends have made it to level 5, so I think they have good chances of making it at this point. Here are their character sheets, the team is at level 5.
Corslinger the halfling fighter
****slings
* flail
We solved the Nashel Mines problem, and cleared most of the southern areas. Lots more to go still, but having fun with this team.

@CKT, thanks for posting. Unfortunately the links don't open, but I'll try later.
@Corey, love the concept. I've toyed with the idea of a slinging Halfling myself, but probably a Ranger kitted as an Archer or Archer/Cleric. I always like creating uncommon characters.

It took a few days for my group to rest & prepare to move into the Cloakwood. Eldoth loaded up on his Poison Arrows & we all recovered from the tough foray through Larswood, Peldvale & the Bandit Camp. After a few days, I led my subordinates to the FAI to pick up Elixirs of Health and I decided on a Scroll of Cure Critical Wounds which I gave to Viconia. Then it was off to Cloakwood Lodge where we fought bunches of annoying Tasloi, a dozen or so Huge Spiders, various wolves, a trio of Worgs, a dozen or so Xvarts & three Ogrillons. We also killed some guy w/a Long Bow on a bridge leading deeper into the Cloakwood. He wanted us to join w/him to kill a Wyvern. Once he gave me the information, i.e., that the Mayor of Nashkel is willing to pay 2000gp for this Wyverns head, that was all I needed from him.
Key Event: We found a hunting lodge & approached a man armed w/Long Bow & Bastard Sword who asked for our help against woodland savages that had killed a member of his hunting party. He was also alone & said he was a nobleman from Baldur’s Gate. I was still deliberating when a Druid named Seniyad leading three subordinate Druids came up. The Druids didn’t look like they had much to offer so I decided that the nobleman needed to die b/c he might have something I could use. He attacked leaving the Druids alone & came after us. He was obviously resistant to magic as I had Viconia cast Command & I cast Larloch’s Minor Drain as did Xzar. None of that affected him but Eldoth landed a Poison Arrow while Kagain went Berserk w/his dual Battle-Axes. I decided to kill the Druids too just in case they had something of value. Viconia cast Command @ Seniyad & he dropped like a stone. I yelled @ Montaron to go finish him & Eldoth & Viconia to attach him too. I decided to knock out the other Druids too before they cast a spell but, before I knew it, Seniyad cast a Lightning Bolt & completely obliterated Xzar. Nothing left have any chance a Raising Dead on that mass of pulp. Montaron finally finished Seniyad w/a well-placed backstab & we mopped up the other Druids w/o them casting a spell. I’ve got Eldoth to cast Mage Spells but is he enough? Edwin’s dead for good too. Hmmm. Whatever the case, it was worth it. The nobleman was loaded w/loot, potions & an enchanted Bastard Sword that’s perfect for me. Seniyad had a Ring of Animal Friendship that I gave to Viconia to use. Not sure it was worth losing Xzar…but its close. Still, I’m gonna miss those Necromancer spells.

LEAVING THE CLOAKWOOD LODGE W/O XZAR!
Treasure of Note: Bastard Sword +1/+3 vs. Shapeshifters, Potions of Vulnerability, Heroism & Elixir of Health (Me); Cloak of Non-Detection (Montaron); Short Bow +1 (got this @ Bandit Camp but forgot to capture it in that journal) (Eldoth)
Current Disposition: Resting @ my compound, formerly the Bandit Camp
Next Steps: Deeper into the Cloakwood
Level Up: Eldoth received word from him Bards Guild that he is now a Joungleur (Bard/5) & added Magic Missile as his 3rd Level 1 spell. Viconia received power to become a Curate (Cleric/5) from her Goddess Shar & added the spell Animate Dead. Montaron also received word from his guild that he too had advanced to Thug (Assassin/5).

Corslinger the halfling slinger and band of fighters - update 3
Corslinger's team is level 6 now. We had just crashed the bandit camp. Since we didn't have a thief, and gold doing well (about 20,000) we didn't concern ourselves with looting much. Thus, after clearing the camp outside, and donning Khosann's full plate on Misty, Forrest did a few buffs, shield amulet, potion of magic protection and enrage and he soloed Tazok's Tent, with the help of a firebreath potion.
We have quite a few places we haven't been yet, though we have done the high experience areas, such as Ankhegs, basilisks, and sirines. We'll keep at it, and dual Hanna to thief at level 7. We haven't touch Durlag's yet, we'll stop there if the easier areas left don't cut. If we can get to level 7, we then proceed on the main story line. Here's how the party has has done so far:
Party Status:(MPV=most powerful vanquished)
Forrest - 74 HP, 225 kills, MPV=Greater Basilisk
special: *** bastard sword
Misty - 75 HP, 172 kills, MPV=Vampiric Wolf
special: ***** axes
I think the only reason Forrest has more kills than Misty is he has used the necklace of missiles a few times
Joshua: 78 hp, 165 kills, MP=Revenant
special: ***** two hand sword, * two hand weapon style
Paja: 52 HP, 166 kills,, MPV=Shoal the Neirad
special: using +1 short bow
Corslinger: 68 HP, 130 kills, MPV=Sirine
special: ***** slings
Hanna: 63 HP, 155 kills, MPV=Sirine
special: Nothing really, she just using heavy crossbow or long bow.

Neequan - gnomish level 5 fighter/level 6 thief (controlled by Corey_Russell)
Wesorc - level 5 elvish sorcerer (controlled by Dogdancing)
The duo made some good progress today. Our first priority was to raise our reputation, as the store prices were killing us. So we tried to go to the Xvart Village to then open up Brage's area. We got ambushed by two Ogre Mages! Wesorc moved away, Neequan gulped a fire resistance potion (he has the fire resistance ring too) and Wesorc fired a fireball at Neequan - it missed both ogre mages. Neequan then got into melee range of one of the Ogre Mages, and this time the fireball hit it and soon dead. Neequan charges the last one, Wesorc fires her last fireball, and the Ogre Mage soon falls.
Neequan gulped all his heal potions, so we had to buy the rest of them left at the Nashkel Temple. We rest and try to hit xvart village again - two cave bears! Neequan did his best to run and shoot, and he instructed Wesorc to try to blind the bears and keep at it until successful. However, she didn't have her staff equipped, and one of the bears got within melee range and Wesorc nearly died. So she ran everywhere trying to heal up, with Neequan thankful he carries around his shortbow (he normally uses his sword and shield) and was pumping the bears full of arrows. Eventually Wesorc does in fact manage to blind them and thus the bears are defeated.
We finally make it to the Xvart village, we get to the edge, and Brage's area still isn't unlocked! Doh! So then we head to bassilus map - get immediately ambushed by some hoggoblin archers - sleep takes care of them - this was actually a helpful ambush, as Neequan had only 6 arrows left from the cave bear ambush (oh and the bears we fought in Xvart Village area), so now Neequan has a full quiver. The duo eventually makes it to the edge of the map and yes Brage's area open! We talk to Brage and take him to the Nashkel Temple. Ok we need another rep quest - we head to the peasant NE of Nashkel with the xvarts attacking his cow - we succeed!
We need one more rep quest...ah here we go, go to sirine map (lighthouse) and save the boy from the worgs - good, good. By this point, we finally have enough cash to buy the greenstone amulet and once we get that, then we can safely deal with the Nashkel Mines. Neequan's hit points are still rather minimal (47) and he won't level any time soon. Fortunately Corey_Russell remembered a very helpful detail. If the duo hugs the edge of the Ankheg Farm map hugging first the bottom, then left edge, then follow the coastline, it's possible to get to Ulgoth's Beard without a single fight! So we do that no problem.
Now that we have the greenstone amulet, we can finally get some cash - we take down Bassilus (blindness) and helped our cash some more. We wanted to deal with the Mines, but getting late. So instead we battled Greywolf to get Neequan a sword upgrade. Blindness once again assured us of victory. We had a lot of bank stuff by this point, so we headed to Beregost to sell and put our stuff in the bank (a barrel) there, rested and will be ready to deal with Nashkel Mines next session.

AM glad that your warranty appears to cover the damage. Is your hard-drive lost, or can you still transfer files from it?
I have good hopes that only the transformator is damaged, and that the computer will be good to go if the broken bit just gets replaced (despite the horrid smell of burnt electronics...). The hard drives sit quite a bit away from where the fire was, so probably no heat-related damage there. Like I said, everything else was running fine right until I pulled the plug.

Neequan - gnomish level 5 fighter/level 6 thief, controlled by Corey_Russell
Wesorc - elvish level 6 sorcerer, controlled by Dogdancing
The duo made some more progress today. We finally dealt with the Nashkel Mines problem. Wesorc had some trouble using her fireballs (she overrided her spell cast action), but we still was able to make it Mulahey's cave. The plan was for Neequan to stay near the entrance of the cave, protected by the greenstone amulet, while Wesorc tries to blind Mulahey. It didn't work quite as planned - Wesorc accidentally cast sleep, which of course had no effect on Mulahey. But Neequan's first hit cancelled Mulahey's spell AND broke his morale. Neequan's next hit killed Mulahey - Wesorc wasn't even able to get a blind in. The remaining kobolds and skeletons were of no trouble for the party. We looted and took the shortcut out of the mine.
We then rested/sold/IDed our stuff at the Carnival. I accidentally sold Joseph's ring, so had to buy it back...then we arrived in Nashkel and gave Joseph's wife her husband's ring. The Mayor was also happy with our success. Then the party both cast shield, Neequan did the greenstone amulet too, then battled Nimbul. Once again, Neequan killed Nimbul before Wesorc was able to blind him.
Neequan decided he really wanted that free action ring that Dushai had. He had to buy potion of mind focusing from FAI Temple, and potions of thievery and perception from Durlag's Tower merchant. We got a lot of ambushes doing this, but we handled them well. Finally, Neequan gulps his potions and managed to steal the ring from Dushai - good, undead can no longer hold Neequan. Since the buffs were running, he tried picking Shandalar's pocket - failed! The party then ran for their lives and headed for the Sirene's area (pirate's cave). Wesorc summoned some monsters and then we battled lots of hobgobins - Wescorc's game crashed here. She got back and we got to just before the sirenes.
Dogdancing was hurting by this point (the crashes and waylays have really extended this game), so we ended the session here.

Stavemistress the wizard slayer
My Tutu set-up is the same as it has been for ages except that I have uninstalled Dark Horizons. Once you know where the assassins are it is overpowered.
I would have loved to be a paladin, in particular, an inquisitor since I always had an aversion to the misuse of magic. However, due to my lack of wisdom and charisma that was never an option so I became a wizard slayer. I later realised that being a drow, even if I had had the charisma and wisdom, it is highly unlikely that I would have been able to have the training required to become a paladin. At least my attributes were such that I was able to become a proficient wizard slayer.
With attributes of Str 18/83, Dex 19, Con 17, Int 11, Wis 12, and Cha 9, I could hardly complain that I had been dealt a bum hand, though with the disadvantage of a 20% decrease in experience, things would never be overly easy. Gorion had advised me to specialise in using a staff as my main weapon on the grounds that if I lost my weapon or had it stolen, making another would be straightforward. I took his advice one stage further and became a mistress in its use even before I left Candlekeep. Thus I gained the nickname, Stavemistress.
Whilst in Candlekeep I was attacked by two assassins. They were both difficult to beat due to their good armour and weapons. Sadly most of this equipment was of little value to me as I was unable to use it well. One of the weapons was a mighty two handed sword, so I wished that I had become more of a generalist concerning weapons. ** in staves and ** in two-handed weapons might have been better. Hindsight is a wonderful thing! A little skill in the use of a ranged weapon might also have been an advantage.
Due to the ambushes, Gorion decided that it would be best if we left Candlekeep. Sadly he left it too late as we had barely left Candlekeep when we were attacked again and he was killed. As I ran I thought that I heard Imoen calling my name, but, fearful that it could be an illusionist, I continued to run.
I returned to Candlekeep but was denied entry, so after arranging for my mentor’s burial, I returned to the scene of the crime where I found various bags of holding and a letter from Gorion advising me to go to the Friendly Arms Inn to meet Khaled and Jaheira. I was not foolish enough to follow those instructions as there was every likelihood that those who had killed Gorion had also read it. Instead, I headed south to Beregost where I met Marl who was quite upset by the death of his son. I helped him to come to terms with it and we drank a few glasses in his memory before taking a book to my old friend Firebead.
I then headed south as fast as I could avoiding conflict as much as possible. I met Lord Foreshadow who gave me a ring that would have been useful to anyone but a Wizard Slayer.
In Nashkel I met with a sorceress who also wanted to put an end to the misuse of magic so we joined together. She is a cowled wizard from Amn.
We intend to take on the mines together, but first we decided to clear the road to Baldur’s Gate of bandits as this would enable us to equip ourselves better.
In the process we dealt with some evil fishermen and joined up with Ajantis, an Inquisitor. Together we thought ourselves a mighty force as we cleared everything in our path, but then we were accosted by ghouls and a Hobgoblin. Whilst dealing with the ghouls, Ajantis was held and Val was poisoned with an arrow. She took a potion which healed her and fired of a magic missile which killed the hobgoblin, but not in time to save herself as his next arrow killed her. This was fortunately not permanent as a temple raised her.
We will try to be more careful in future as we get on well together.
After the raising of Val, we were asked at the temple to deal with the madman Bassilus. This we did, but Ajantis had rigid thinking cast upon him, so after the death of Bassilus, Val and I kept clear of him until the spell wore off.
In Beregost we went to an inn to rest and were attacked by another assassin. This time we were aided by Finch, Silke and Algernon. Sadly Algernon was killed, but hopefully friends will get him raised again.
We used some of the gold that we raised by selling Sonner’s flail to help the Dudley family and Eltoth. We got some of that money back so it was not too expensive and we are now bona fide heroes.
In the process of clearing the area of as many bandits as I could I came across two couples who wanted to go to Nashkel. I escorted them safely there but due to their morality being different, did not feel that we could work together on a permanent basis. Montaron for example should really have been called Montaron Cut-purse. He is excellent at his vocation in life and I suppose that I should be glad that he has developed those thieving skills rather than those of an assassin. He actually used them for my benefit and since I have no idea whom he stole from, my conscience is less troubled than it would have been since I am unable to return them. However, from now on I have decided to restrict my party to those of a lawful good alignment as I feel that there will be less internal conflict in the party if I do so.
I could have worked with Jaheira a bit longer, but her druid standpoint was really annoying as she actually believes in what she does. At least Xzar and Montaron admit that their attitude is wrong.
After our separation we tried to help Prism, and we did in a way even though he ended up dead. We were aided by a paladin from Amn called Isra who wanted to join up with us. She was so insistent that I agreed, despite her lack of experience. Once we are a little better equipped we went to find out what was going on down in the mines. It was actually not as difficult as we imagined. Val in particular was quite relieved.
Upon exiting the mine, we went shopping, selling unwanted goods and buying a staff +3 and a robe of the good archmage.

Congrats Grond0! Best of luck in Amn.
Just a quick note about Corslinger and his team of fighters. Hanna has finally reached level 7 and dualed to thief. She's been a huge help to the party, making the Cloakwood Mines a breeze. She wasn't very good at locks, but managed to open them all with a few thieving potions (she's level 5). The rest of the party is level 7. Cloakwood areas and ambushes were pretty straight-forward for this team. As is my practice, I had someone with a freedom potion and invisibility potion go through all the traps in area 2 first (with AI off), then the party battled the ettercaps and spiders, much easier this way. Drassus was no trouble either, the party did just 3 buffs, 2x enrage and greenstone amulet (I learned my lesson - I can gamble with the other characters, but the PC must be protected!). Only Joshua got confused, but we used our best arrows/bolts and the victory was pretty fast. We then ran away until Joshua got a hold of himself.
As for the Cloakwood Mines themselves, straight melee/ranged for everything except the mages (Including Davaeorn) who were all defeated by a single buffed fighter. Our gold is fantastic (about 40,000), so we sitting pretty for our coming foray into the City of Baldur's Gate.

Edit:
Update of Grim Impish Face & Co (Durlag's Tower).
Some sorrow RL events prevented me to pay too much attention to my Crew but nonetheless withing several sporadic sessions we made it through the gloomy vaults of Durlag's Tower undergrounds. Here are the quick medley of our progress:
- The Four Warders. Strange enough but even being improved with SCS they didn't impressed me too much. *Improved* Love with a persistence worthy of a better application spammed *greenstoned* Jaheira with Dire Charms while she dealt with Fear (a worthy opponent with his fast regeneration but also not very potent vs Jaheira's AC -9 plus modifiers). Avarice chose Dynaheir as his victim but she avoided his attack, skellies blocked him and triple Frost Blast was just enough. Khalid helped Jaheira vs Fear with Frost Arrows while our mages used Frost Wands on Love: one, two and three. The only damage he managed to inflict is hurting Khalid with his own arrow by reflecting it back. Famous Pride didn't lasted long either.
- Next level was pretty uneventful though improved Greater Doppelgangers are quite annoying.
- Greater Wyverns were kited by Jaheira while our mages cold-blasted them.
- Chessboard. From inspecting some online walkthrough I knew that improved chessboard fight differ from sans-SCS Tactical challenges version that it begin immediately after party teleported there so we left a Slime room for last and took some buffs before quickly fry the Slime. Then we had a few rounds to prepare but I didn't knew exactly how long so after a bit of waiting we began moving toward the exit and were transferred on the board AND we continued our movement there! Fortunately we all were protected vs Lightning so that wasn't a big problem other than it completely ruined my battle plan... We quickly retreated and fired an inferno of Fireballs/Oils of Fire, Dynaheir hit with Slow and Imoen with Chaos. That destroyed all the Pawns and softened the rest of opposition. At the same time King (or Queen) his with Remove Magic and stripped Dynaheir completely, and most importantly Impish Face off his Stoneskins. He was a prime target so began to loose hp dangerously quick. He quaffed a Potion of Invisibility and hid in the corner to heal/rebuff. *Naked* Dynaheir was slain. King hit with Chaos and affected both Khalid and Imoen. Meanwhile Impish Face healed himself, rebuffed with Stoneskins and hit with Remove Magic. Queen was slain but Rook managed to kill Imoen a split of a second before Impish Face finished King...
- Revived Dynaheir and Imoen in Nashkel and back to the Tower. Were immediately greeted by Astral Phase Spider and ordinary Phase Spider on the next level. Phase Spider was paralyzed but Astral one resisted and poisoned Viconia. Fortunately the combined forces finished him quickly while Dynaheir cured Viconia with her innate ability.
The rest of an area was pretty straightforward for Impish Face wearing Ring of Free Action. The loot from that final level was splendid: Flame Toungue and Staff of Striking, Bala's Axe, Clock of Displacement and Ring of Invisibility and finally the most wanted Staff Mace for Jaheira.
- Demonknight. He acted quite strange: dispelled Imoen but then fireballed Khalid who was on another stair (protected with Potions of Fire Resistance and Free Action). Then used another Remove Magic on completely unbuffed War Dog... That stupidity cost him of his life in the end.
I'm not sure we are going to visit Ulgoth's Beard to face the Cult (the main reason for me to explore DT was a randomised loot and as it seems I got nearly all I wish now) so back to the Baldur's Gate City we are heading now.
to be continued...

@Shadow_Leech: I'm in agreement with Serg, nice to see you back in action - u2 wise!
Corslinger the halfling fighter and his band of fighters - the City of Baldur's Gate, Part 1
Traveling with: Forrest (berserker), Misty (berserker), Paja (Wizard Slayer), Joshua (Kensai), Hanna (level 7 fighter dualed to level 5 thief)
So the team has started some of the action in the Big City. Our first major decision was who gets the DEX tome. Eventually decided Hanna should, since it will help all of her thief skills. Next, we battled the 4 mages on top of Sorcerous Sundries. Despite 1/2 the party running in fear, the remaining party members destroyed the mages very fast.
Next up was the Ogre Mage and his Carrion Crawler friends in the sewers. Corslinger has a free action ring picked from Dushai, so he was safe - complete victory here as well. We picked up a corpse and gave to that necromancer who wanted it. Next up we entered a house with two thieves in it - we claimed we were thieves like them, but intentionally gave them the wrong password - this in turn made them try to make us "pay" - instead the thieves paid for their thievery with their lives. This in turn allowed us to give the seer a sphene gem.
Next area, we battled Vayya and Deserta, one at a time, which done that was is pretty simple. A single potion of mirror eyes on Misty was plenty for her to take out the basilisk in the warehouse. Next up, was the house with the 5 ogre mages. It was scary looking, but the party burned through them quickly. We also returned some gauntlets to the lady in the warehouse, as we weren't able to use it (Paja can't use bracers, nor can Joshua).
Next area, we easily defeated the dopplegangers at the Seven Suns, reported to Scar for our rewards for both that quest and the quest to remove the Ogre Mage and his pets in the sewers. We needed to rest first so the berserkers can get their enrage abilities back. Then we used one enrage each berserker with the help of the party on the thieve's guild in the SW corner of the city and the mage with his archer and kensai buddy. After selling our junk, we can buy anything with more than 61,000 gold.
The last task before we ran out of time was getting the amulet from Nadine to her son. Everything pretty smooth, so far.

Corslinger the Halfling fighter and his band of fighters* - City of Baldur's Gate, Update 2
Traveling with: Forrest (level 7 berserker), Misty (level 7 berserker), Paja (level 7 Wizard Slayer), Joshua (level 7 Kensai), Hanna (level 7 fighter dualed to level 6 thief)
So the team battled Ragefast - he died instantly. Then we retrieved the boy's body from the Water Queen's Temple, to get a upgraded shield for Forrest. We left that house with the battle horrors and invisible stalkers alone - no paralyzation wands this time! We weren't afraid of the Mountain Maulers and indeed they were destroyed by our team - in fact one of the Maulers were so afraid they ran outside so we had to chase them down...picked up the helm of balduran while we were here, of course. Returned Nestor's dagger to his friend. We wanted to talk to Jardak but Jardak and his butler instead decided to attack us - bad move - they are dead now, so the helm of glory went to Forrest.
By this point we are full of loot, so went and IDed our stuff and sold what we didn't need. Killing Razamith was next - he died instantly (e.g. 1 round). His tower was of little trouble to this team. The INT tome went to Hanna, maybe she can get some lore. As a thief, she will certainly get more lore than us fighters. We defeated Larze without too much trouble, returned the skull to a priest to cure someone, gave an angel ring to a flaming fist, and did the poison quest successfully - new bow for Paja.
Hanna was able to pickpocket the cloak of balduran, that went to Misty. There really isn't much else that we want to do. So we headed to the Iron Throne Building. The 1st floor went hostile, they didn't like our bribe...hmmm...2nd floor went hostile too...must be the low CHA of most of the party. For the 5th floor, Misty soloed it with protection from magic scroll, haste, frost giant potion, and enrage. She took a ton of damage, and used all 5 of her blue potions - nevertheless she did win the battle by herself. We got the info we needed from Thaldorn.
So the team is about to report to Duke Eltan to be sent to Candlekeep, but ran out of time so saved our session here.

Back in the City the Crew talked with Tamoko, assaulted the Flaming Fist Headquarters, saved Duke Eltan from not-so-skilled healer and confronted Cythandria. Armed with her new Staff Mace and with the aid of some summons Jaheira dealt with Cynthandria's Golems, then Impish Face and Khalid joined for the finish. In the Undercellar we called for an army of skellies, Khalid dispelled Slythe's haste with an arrow and then he got a contrast shower (Flame Strike / Cold Blast) which he doesn't survived. Krystin wasted some of her spells on skellies, Impish Face tried Remove magic on her with no success so Khalid used three Arrows of Dispelling to put down her buffs and then switched to the Acid Arrows. Jaheira and Viconia joined to strip her Stoneskins faster and soon she fell. Got a full assassin's arsenal (Short Sword of Backstabbing, Dagger of Venom and Short Sword +2) from Slythe and another Ring of Fire Resistance from Krystin.
In the Palace we called for skellies as well, took some buffs - Resist Fear, Pro Evil, Chant, Haste and Greenstone charges for Khalid, Jaheira (from Durlag's Tower adventures we knew that Greater Doppelgangers love Dire Charm our fighters and they did it immediately indeed) and Viconia (just in case so she can use her Dispel if needed). As soon as Doppels activated their Mirror Images and Haste Impish Face hit with Remove Magic. When Doppels where dispelled Imoen fired Emotion (two of them where affected) followed by Slow. Our mages tried Wands of Paralyzation and Jaheira Darts of Stunning to disable Doppels but in the heat of combat (and due to intense *choppiness*) it was hard to notice whether they were successful in that so we switched to ever-trusty Wands of Cold and Heavens. That proved to be a viable choice and both Dukes survived the carnage. We produced an evidence of Sarevok's mischief to Belt and when after some more fight he fled the scene Belt teleported us to the Thieves' Guild so we can pursue Sarevok for the final confrontation.
to be continued...

@Serg: Good luck in the final battle. You've been at this run for quite a while, hope it isn't in vain...

Upon learning the location of the bandit camp, we killed all the bandits including Tazok. Forgot to go get Tranzig and the bandits north of Beregost before entering the tent.
We used Summons to prevent Tazok from wimping out. Helped the hunters in Cloakwood and went on to kill the wyverns. Killed a number of them in transit too.
Upon reaching the Cloakwood Mines, we had a minor disaster.
Spells from the mages panicked all but Imra and she was attacked by all the enemy simultaneously. Fortunately before she dies, she managed to call shout which meant that Ajantis and I were able to fight.
We did this well with the result that we survived, though Val did not.
We will now stash the goods and return to a temple to raise our friends. Ajantis is at present getting very friendly, but finds courtship rather embarrassing. Perhaps I should just throw myself at him. On second thoughts, that would probably scare him away.
After raising those who had died, we decided that perhaps we ought to have some more experience under our belts before returning to the mines. We therefore did as the dwarf at the beard requested in the hope that his quest might be a little easier. It was slightly easier as we only lost Imra in the tower. It was due to a trap! L However we gained some good equipment, in particular a coat of excellent armour, as well as plenty of experience.
Having raised Imra, we will now return to the mines.
The mines turned out to be much easier than expected due to our enemies being helpful concerning positioning. When we fought the mages on the way down, they were killed easily. Perhaps because of our expertise in killing mages. Upon fighting Davaeorn and his cohorts at the bottom of the mine things went better than expected. Some summoned monsters took the brunt of his wrath, but then we were not in a good position so we ran. The doom guards followed us and set off the traps. That was unexpected but helpful. They followed us up a level leaving Davaeorn behind.
There was then some bad tactics on my part as I forgot to switch to melee weapons with the result that Ajantis came within three points of death. It took us quite a long time to recover, but once we did, Davaeorn was easy. Ajantis Imra and I were hasted and the only spell he cast summoned some monsters. We killed him first and then killed the monsters at our leisure.
