Congrats Aasim - I look forward to more pyrotechnics in Athkatla
.
The doppleganger changes are from SCS. In my experience they actually make that fight less dangerous once you know what's coming. The assassin would be a real danger to the dukes, but will select an alternative target if you offer him a good one. The mage will be a real problem if you give him a chance, but if dispelling arrows are available in your game they will sort him out. There's also a cleric type to deal with as well as 3 more standard greater dopplegangers.

I started 4 days ago. I'm reluctant to post a run if I fail before BG city for some reason. ![]()

Tnx.

Yes, it's SCS. Dispel arrows are there, but with Item Revisions they works same way that SCS nerfs Carsomyr - save is allowed to avoid getting dispelled. Given dope mage has save vs spells of 3 and comes blurred (with Spell Revisions, it's +3 vs spells bonus) there's no way a dispel arrow will work on him. Even if blur is dispelled, you need to get very lucky for that to work. I used dispel magic on him which worked after two attempts.
As I noticed there are new versions ("new" = less than 2 years old...) of nearly all mods I normally use, I've made a complete overhaul of my modded EasyTutu install. First time I am playing a post-v21 of SCS in BG1. It is bound to get interesting.
New this time for me are Romantic Encounters and some parts of aTweaks. I think the most prominent will be the 'P&P Fey Creatures' component - sirines will now be immune to Stinking Cloud, so I suppose I need a new main plan vs. them. Also, since I plan to do only this playthrough for quite a while, I let Randomizer use the WeiDU option (with 10% chance of not randomizing), so more items get randomized (at the cost of every game on this Randomizer install being 'randomized' the same).
WeiDU log:

I think they are SCS. I have them in my set up.

** Quarterstaff ** Two handed weapons.
When I couldn’t decide upon whether to be a mage or a cleric, Gorion suggested that I train as a fighter specialising in quarterstaffs and decide later on when I knew my mind better. This turned out to be excellent advice as my skill with the staff saved my life when attacked by assassins in Candlekeep.
Upon their bodies most of their possessions were useless to me, but I stashed them in a bag found upon one of them. There was however a +2 staff that proved to be just what I needed.
After the death of Gorion I headed for The Friendly Arms Inn as he had suggested. There I was accosted by the mage Tarnesh. As I was near the entrance to the temple, every time he cast a spell, I slipped inside. This did not prevent me from being hit by a magic missile, but even then there was healing available immediately. Eventually he ran out of spells and as I was the better fighter, I prevailed. However, I was concerned that if there was one assassin that there might be more, so I left and headed northwards. I killed a few hobgoblins and got the ring that she wanted, but after meeting Tarnesh was reluctant to return. I headed northwards and agreed to help a widow who was being pestered by her former husband and also Sonner who was having problems with a priestess of Umberlee. I confronted her and discovered that Sonner had been economical with the truth and so agreed to help her.
I then headed to Nashkel where I gained the ability to heal myself. I found a wand of frost and a ring of protection from fire not too far away, and then helped a dryad whose tree was under threat, though she was unaware of the fact.
Near Beregost, I came across Melicamp who I delivered safely to his master who needed a skull. If I come across one I will help him.
Eventually I reached level 3 as a fighter and became a little more proficient with the staff. I then dual-classed to become a mage with proficiency in daggers. After becoming a mage I suddenly realised that I needed to stop procrastinating about finishing the quests that I had been requested to do as I needed the experience quickly if I was to survive.
I therefore helped: the widow who was being pestered by her former husband; the girl priestess by getting the bowl from Sonner; Joia by returning her ring; Marl by calming him down; Firebead by bringing him a book that he wanted; Mirianne by bringing her news of her husband; Melicamp by getting him back into shape; by delivering a letter to her; Charleston by killing those attacking him; Brage by delivering him safely to the temple; and Samuel by delivering him to the temple at the Friendly Arms Inn. Killing a few kobolds was sufficient to restore my fighting ability and I suddenly felt far less vulnerable.
After buying a necklace of missiles, casting grease and using the necklace was sufficient to kill Tristan and Isolde. This provided me with a +2 returning throwing knife, a valuable addition to my arsenal especially as I have * in daggers.
Proceeding southwards I received experience for helping Rufie, a dryad and Drienne’s cat. I killed some ogres on a bridge and then took on some assassins on the other side. I was doing well having used mirror image, grease and sleep. So three of them were easily killed. Chaos followed by sleep followed by acid arrow etc. etc, meant that I don’t really know what happened next.

Gate70/Grond0 multiplayer attempt 98 - (update 2)
Lira, elf beast master (Grond0) & Nauhh, half-orc fighter (Gate70)
Not quite up to Aasim's standards, but this pairing still managed some respectable progress yesterday. They started at the basilisk area where the monsters were quickly slaughtered before we discussed how to deal with Mutamin. Rather than rely on Korax Lira's familiar was given an outing to soak up a horror spell before the fighters attacked - that went well with the familiar running scared, but managing to avoid running down to Kirian. Korax was then summoned to help out with Kirian - Nauhh getting up close and personal after she was dead and Peter was out of hold persons.
In Beregost to sell equipment Lira also sneakily shot Neera from distance (to avoid the hassle of dealing with her mage enemy) to get her gem bag. Then it was off to the coast to find some sirines - they didn't last long against melee attacks using potion of clarity for protection.
The Cloud Peaks started inauspiciously when Lira accidentally agreed to let Greywolf take Prism. Immediately changing her mind she took her best shot at the bounty hunter, but could only rack up about 60 damage before he disappeared.
The rest of the areas though went pretty smoothly. Moving north a bit Nauhh tried his luck against the doomsayer, but was getting the worst of it there (Lira's bow skills being useless to help against the missile immune opponent) and they teleported back to Nashkel with the help of Brage.
With their heroic reputation they cut their way through the ankheg nest on the way to the shop at Ulgoth's Beard before deciding it was time to take on the main quest. Mulahey found himself bitten by one of the sirines' arrows and caused no problems.
Nimbul scared Nauhh away, but that had been expected and Lira was quite prepared to duel him - but didn't get the chance as Rasaad once more stole the glory (and our XP).
Tranzig lasted only just long enough to point the way to the Bandit Camp where Nauhh once more found an opponent worthy of him - this time though Lira was able to help out with her shots once Nauhh started to run away.
Inside the main tent Lira used another arrow of biting to successfully incapacitate Venkt and effectively decide that battle.
Lira, beast master 6, 69 HPs (incl. 6 from familiar), 158 kills
Nauhh, fighter 6, 69 HPs, 100 kills, 0 deaths
Is Firestave still alive?
No he is not. If he were, I would have been able to discover what happened next.
He has been replaced by
Blackheart the Blackguard
Str 18/97 Dex 18, Con 18, Int 16, Wis 16, Cha 14.
Gorion told me to equip myself, but didn’t even give me sufficient gold to buy splint mail. I therefore opened a chest at the inn and found not only some gold, but also a potion of clarity. I went to the innkeeper and bought the splint mail, a helmet, some arrows and some crossbow bolts before going back upstairs.
I tried another chest and saw in it some more gold and a ring. However I took nothing as a shout told me that I had been spotted. The guard said that the fine for stealing would be all of my gold. I only had one gold piece and so gave it to him. Whether he put it in the treasury or kept it for himself I have no idea.
I knew that if nothing else, I needed enough gold to equip myself with swords and so I opened another chest. I had taken a necklace and a pearl when once again I was caught. Clearly I am not cut out to be a thief.
This guard demanded that I should allow myself to be whipped. Knowing full well that I deserved it I allowed him to severely beat me. What he did then is best passed over, but he certainly took full advantage of his position. I was not surprised that I found it pleasurable as I had previously had fantasised about such an occurrence and he was certainly experienced.
I sold the gems and bought a couple of swords before performing a variety of chores all of which were poorly paid. In a very short space of time I was attacked by assassins again and again. Having stripped them of all that could be of use, I found that I had acquired a robe which was useless to me, a pair of bracers and a long sword +1. I put my previous equipment in a bag and equipped myself with the +1 sword that one of them was carrying.
There were a few other items in the thieves’ possession that I stored in a bag. I gave all my gold to the temple gaining two reputation points, and helping Linda and Sir Trun raised my reputation yet further.
As you have probably already heard from other sources, Gorion was killed protecting me. I arranged for his burial before heading straight for the bright lights of Baldur's Gate.
However I never got there as I got waylaid by requests for help which she knew would increase my experience and hence my ability to survive.
The first one was a widow whose former husband was making demands of her which she felt unable to fulfil. I was able to help there without even risking my skin.
Some fishermen then asked for help in their conflict with a priestess. Twice she cast sleep and each time I awoke, was glad to discover that it was not as a member of the undead. The third spell that she cast was “hold”. I was surprised to discover that I could still talk to her and agree to help her. Clearly in that state it would have been extremely foolish to have done anything else.
I headed for Nashkel calming down Marl, and delivering a book to Firebead on the way.
In Nashkel I found some Ankheg armour, spoke to Noober and once more relieved my stress, this time in the arms of Bardolan.
Lord Foreshadow gave me a useful ring which makes a slight difference to my charisma.
Heading southwards, I helped a dryad and Drienne. I then had a tough battle with some ogres.
I was then able to help Mellicamp. The weird thing was that Mellicamp did not APPEAR to have changed in the slightest. However when we had an enjoyable picnic together followed by some more stress relief. He was fortunately back in human form. Afterwards he LOOKED as if he was a chicken again. ????
I then helped the archaeologist and Brage.
My poisoned weapons were enough to deal with the ogre with a belt fetish.
At the Friendly Arms Inn I killed the assassin Tarnesh and delivered to Joia her ring.
I then met up with Xzar and Montaron and did some “shopping” together at Beregost and Ulgoth’s Beard and then joined up with Khalid and Jaheira.
Quentin supplied me a a delicious meal followed by extras. ![]()
Since Xzar and Montaron, Khalid and Jaheira all wanted to go to Nashkel, we went there next as I was somewhat outvoted.
I left Khalid and Jaheira there and continued on my way with Xzar and Montaron.
We went to the gnoll fortress, killed some ogres and assassins, one of whom was difficult to kill due to being an excellent thief. Nevertheless, we prevailed and proceeded northwards where we helped a man who needed protecting from a polar bear.
On the way to find Prism, we were attacked by a powerful assassin. Not quite powerful enough to survive.
Upon crossing Greywolf, he attacked only to find that there are better fighters than he around.
EDIT
Then headed north, picked up Viconia much to the delight of Xzar and Montaron.
Then killed Tristan and Isolde, Basillus, Zargal and cronies. These caused no problems as I had sent in a skeleton to waste their spells on.
The Nashkel Mines proved not to be a problem. The same could not be said for Narcillicus Harwilliger Neen. He cast a number of web spells that held my party. Due to a ring that I was wearing the spells did not affect me so I chased after him. I did eventually catch up with him and kill him, but meanwhile the monsters that he had summoned killed Viconia before I could get back and help her.
I killed the slime, but I had to spend a fortune in raising her.
I then charmed Oublek and used him as cannon fodder against a baby dragon that was chasing a boy. Oublek fell but fought courageously. I killed the dragon and then picked up the booty from Oublek's body.
I used soft answers against the dragons owner who came off the worst.
I then killed another assassin.
Sagittaria, Human Archer, starting out together with Imoen
I activated the passage from Lion's Way to FAI but didn't go there just yet. The path down towards Beregost looked dangerous, with a bandit pack in a nasty spot. (Note that a critical bandit arrow has 50% chance to kill level 1 Imoen!)
We weren't good enough at sneaking yet, so finding a safe passage looked very tricky. I went back to the first map, down to the High Hedge map and followed the northern edge to Beregost.
Beregost is such a boon for wealth and easy early experience. Imoen lured out the spiders and Sagittaria shot them down. About two shots at each spider was all that was needed - I like!

We did many small quests in an around Beregost and FAI (once we had gained a few levels, we could sneak past Tarnesh getting in and out), eventually branching out to some other maps. I experienced the first effects from the boosted undead component from aTweaks. A ghast trio on the map S Beregost had increased foot speed (but it was still pretty easy to outrun them) and the ability to cause nausea from a distance.
We went to the ankheg farm but only did the Undying Love quest, then sneaked out from the map to the north. Did the same on the next map (had to stop just N Tenya's house because one of us failed stealth. Both needed to be hidden to get past the ankheg). We cleared Wenric's farm of zombies.
Next, I took on Arghain's map. Arghain himself and his gang were super easy (racial enemy: ogre), the ettercap went OK. We actually managed to save Arabelle the Cow just by arrow shots (probably lucky, cow must have been at Near Death).
We avoided Ioin and gang. Sagittaria hunted various types on ogres and such (respawning ones, not Sarhedra's yet). She found another trio of Ogres. Failed her stealth at this point but that didn't bother me, because I had decided to start picking them off anyway. WHAT? Ogre Mage right behind them! I had no idea that they can even spawn on this map. Sleep comes flying!

Oh dear, she is still only level 4! As you can see, trying to hide in shadows was not possble yet. The spell is very close now and Imoen is on the other side of the map. Not that she would have had much chance to save me, anyway...
There was only one thing to do - drink my inviso potion. That saved Sagittaria's life because she failed her save and one of the ogres had shambled over to her. Hmm, Sleep lasts for a very long time... Imoen came over and scouted out the enemies:

When Sagittaria finally woke up, I decided to try to pick off the ogres with stealthy arrows (i.e. shoot arrows from the shadows at maximum range, back off two steps and re-hide). Imoen was scouting to see if the mage was following. It didn't follow the ogre cries through any of it, so Sagittaria could kill those three ogres.
She was annoyed at the mage for making her spend her only invisbility potion, so she and Imoen made a plan. It had several flaws and was pretty stupid from the beginning. Almost none of it worked. Imoen tried to set a trap just outside the mage's sight but failed (she has only 30% on the skill) and instead nicked herself for 5 points of damage (used healing potion). Then we got into position for what was probably going to be a scary fight:

Okay, maybe it wasn't completely stupid. Imoen had just reached level 5 and triple backstab damage. With some good rolls, she might have lucked out. But she missed the backstab...
Sagittaria activated Called Shot for the first time. The only thing it does at this level is to put a 1-point penalty on enemy THAC0. She did hit the ogre mage but it the mage did this to Imoen:

OMG, there are two of them!
Imoen was done for here since they auto-hit when she's stunned (she had only 30 HPs). Sagittaria drank an Oil of Speed

and fled for her life. My first thought was to use stealth and try to get Imoen's gear back but then I realized that Sagittaria couldn't possibly carry much of that. Between the two of them, there were only a few weight units left before getting encumbered. She could maybe have carried the most valuable items: Ring of Protection and Boots of Stealth but never got to try that out, though, because one of the magi cast Chromatic Orb at her. She reached the map edge just as the Orb hit and damaged her. World map was shown. Ah, only 8 hours to Song of the Morning temple! Got waylaid by a Dire Wolf (and a peaceful Wolf) which she killed before it reached her (3 shots). I thought about that Chromatic Orb and looked at the text. Found no mentioning of a save but no mentioning of any effect either, just the damage. Hm, I wonder if Sagittaria was actually stunned while she was travelling. Must have been very close to death in that case....
Temple raised Imoen and I also paid for healing for both of us. It was cheaper than potions and we had no time to rest now. Time to go back for the gear!
Great, the items from Arghain's gang were still there when we arrived. I saw no signs of the ogre mages but Imoen stayed hidden in that whole part of the map while she reclaimed her equipment. So the loss amounted to one point of her Constitution, some money and that we used up our only invisibility potion and oil of speed. But that's OK, were still going. ![]()
Sagittaria now hunted Sarhedra's ogres and a pair of cave bears. She made sure to shoot the Hobgoblin Elite from the shadows so they wouldn't get any opportunity to hit her. That went really well.
We hunted down the half-ogres Bjornin mentioned but not much else on that map. We're resting at Feldepost's now trying to decide where to go next. Sagittaria is around 3000 XP away from level 5. Would be awesome to become immune to that dreaded Sleep.
I was thinking of Shoal, but then realized that Sagittaria wouldn't kill her before she got to talk. Plus I don't know what aTweaks has done to Shoal...
Another way would be to buy some +1 arrows from Taerom and go kill Thalantyr's golems. But we have been given advice how to approach that place and then the golems will be peaceful. OTOH, they aren't really living creatures, just "property". Damn, this is blurry...
If I do manage to get to level 5 somehow, I will probably go pick up Khalid and Jaheira. Jaheira knows Remove Fear (even though she has forgotten it in BG2). Between that spell and being level 5, Tarnesh should have no way to disable Sagittaria and Imoen.
HP rolls on the d10 have been 3, 7 and 2, so pretty crappy (total of 12, average is 16.5).
Sagittaria, level 4 Archer, 22 HP
Imoen, level 5 Thief, 25 HP (1 death, CON=15)
Blackheart and Party were ambushed by Lamalha et al PLUS about a dozen bandits.
Should have run. They were simply too powerful.
By the time that I knew that, I couldn't as Blackheart was sleeping.
Thinking about it afterwards, I could have used wand of monster summoning, but I think that the main mistake was not killing the ankhegs and basilisks before doing the mines.
SCS definitely makes the game much tougher.
I then tried an inquisitor run. Got poisoned by an assassin in Candlekeep. Must have been a critical hit as she had splint mail armour. The end. ![]()
Going to try ranger/cleric next. I got a good roll. Let's see if she does any better.
Spikey the Ranger Cleric is doing quite well. Her stats are:
Str 18/91 Dex 18 Con 18 Int 15 Wis 18 Cha 10
She has now reached Level 5 as both a ranger and a cleric. She still needs a high quality morning star, so she has had to rely on magical weapons. These have served her well, but she has had to spend more time sleeping than she would have chosen so as to regain spell-casting ability.
In Candlekeep she killed three assassins, but unfortunately their equipment was of little use to her.
Since she was very short of gold she raided some chests in the Inn. After raiding one she had to pay a fine of one gold piece, but the other cost her a whipping. The guard who gave it actually wanted more, but his advances were rejected.
Hull's were not. ![]()
After the death of Gorion she killed Tarnesh with her shillelagh after using command.
She spent a very pleasant evening eating a dinner of lamb with Quentin. He made the night EXCEEDINGLY pleasant for her. ![]()
She again used the same spells to defeat the hobgoblins to the north.
She helped to solve the conflict between the widow and her deceased husband and then between the fishermen and the priestess of Umberlee without bloodshed.
She would have liked to have the morningstar belonging to the fishermen, but would have had to attack them and felt that it would have been wrong to do so.
Near to the priestess was an Ankheg which she killed using shillelagh and command. In transit she killed a couple of half-ogres using the same tactics.
In Beregost she had calmed Marl and taken a tome to Firebead.
She helped Mellicamp and later had a most enjoyable pic-nic with him followed by an equally enjoyable night. ![]()
South of Beregost she continued the shillelagh and command tactics against some ogrillon and then some guards who had attacked her.
She helped the archaeologist and Brage.
She then helped Rufie and then a dryad. By this time her weapon of choice was a spiritual hammer, shillelagh being used as a backup.
She killed two winter wolves being exceedingly thankful for a cloak that protected from ice that she found on the site of the ambush of her and Gorion.
She also helped Drienne and by splitting up the group was able to kill a few ogres.
Then she returned to Nashkel where she did some babysitting.
She returned to the area where the fishermen lived and killed a lot of Ankheg. She had to rest a lot, but the rewards were great particularly in the realm of experience.
Going south of Nashkel she was attacked by Zargos Flintblade who paid the ultimate price of failure as did Greywolf.
She then killed Bassilus, Zargal and cohorts beforwe going to deal with Mutamin, the basilsisks and the medusae.
She was assisted by Korax in this along with a summoned skeleton. By healing it, she was able to keep the skeleton alive until the area was cleared of enemies.
At last before going down the mines, she enlisted the aid of Skeezer Lumkin, a thief/mage as she thought that together, they should be able to deal with anything.
The mines were not too much of a problem. Skeezer used web and fireball whilst Spikey used necklace of missiles when the enemies were dangerous.
They killed the assassins in Nashkel, a charmed Oublek took some of the spells without being killed. Later the three of them fought a baby wyvern. This caused the death of Oublek, but the child was saved. At least Oublek died a hero's death.
Two ghostly lovers were reunited and a stone of blurring was the reward. ![]()
A group of assassins in the area south of Beregost and another in the area to the south of the Friendly Arms Inn were killed. The second group killed a charmed Aoln and one of the party attacked using dimension door to attack. He must have scryed the party as they were definitely out of sight.
The Bandit Camp was defeated by stealth. The only deaths were the dark horizons assassins.
Killed the druids in Cloakwood 1, everything in the spider area Except for the brother of Chelak.
Then got ambushed by Molkar. Got held even though Skeezer wasn't. Perhaps in that situation the ring should be tossed to the PC.
The end. ![]()
Images to follow.
Gate70/Grond0 multiplayer attempt 98 - (3rd and final update)
Lira, elf beast master (Grond0) & Nauhh, half-orc fighter (Gate70)
MP proved no more successful for me that SP today as this fighting pair met their match at the Iron Throne. Up to that point things had gone pretty well and a long trail of chunked bodies stretched behind them on the way through the Cloakwood and on to Baldur's Gate.
At the Iron Throne Nauhh used some fire protection and the Greenstone Amulet to be able to focus attackers on him. Lira meanwhile stood back and used her bow to pick off the casters. She had killed the first 2 of those quickly and moved onto the third when a shift in bodies saw her lose her line of sight for a moment. She immediately ran forwards - timing her move perfectly to get in the way of a just-cast horror spell
.
Left without support Nauhh suffered rising damage from acid arrows and magic missiles and a healing potion when almost dead didn't provide enough health to save him from more magic missiles.
By that stage though Lira had been running around for quite a while and I thought she would be recovering shortly - I dare say that would have been the case if one of the casters hadn't frozen her in place with a chromatic orb!
Edit: and if you want to see the ignominy of the end in full stop-motion (slightly laggy) it's at:
https://drive.google...iew?usp=sharing
Unlucky at gaming... I guess you have a lot of luck in love then today
.
Sorry to hear the demise of your duo, Grond0. By the way, because of magic missiles primarily, I basically always use a protection from magic scroll on whoever tanks 5th floor Iron Throne baddie.Seeing Gate70 was tanking, there was even more reason for him to use the scroll, since he was the protagonist.
Grond0 is protagonist - until we get a second success under our belts.
Anyways, not sure how long my next attempt will run for but background as below from Gorion's perspective.
"The little <beep>. Always lurching from one petty larceny to the next with me coming up to retirement age and unable to keep him in check. I'm going to have to deal with this now and put an end to it. Although, I suppose I could hand him over to someone else and have them do the job. Ah yes, there's that flyer - all I'd have to do is trick the boy into the woods and collect the reward."

Interesting Intro Gate70! Best of luck!
Blaggerd leaves the Friendly Arm for another day despite Tarnesh being dead. Who knows what lurks inside. A first ambush rapidly follows, and sees Mhoa badly mauled by worgs before they are cut down.
Droth the Ogre Mage thinks he's in for an easy ride after napping Blaggerd and Slayer but a level 1 Klaer hits twice and disrupts two further spells. Garla is Dire Charmed though, and turns on the Kensai. Klaer wallops Droth out of his helmet and leads Garla away from the unconscious party members, Once Blaggerd and Slayer recover, they cluster around Shoal the Nereid to congratulate her in a less than friendly manner. Garla and Ondul are the first party members to reach level 2.
A short while later, the first part of Blaggerd's master plan to escape capture pays off, with one less chicken in the region to offer as reward for his capture. Melicamp is left with Thalantyr as the party make off with a new potion container. Firebead hands over a scroll case while Slayer picks up a gem bag after shooting down Neera (a Grond0'ism) to save her from a fate that would surely be worse than death.
Garla hands Slayer a free bastard sword upgrade and the party head south into the darkening night. Garla and Klaer are both hit fighting ogrillions but live to fight another day. A Flaming Fist mercenary is fooled into leaving the party alone before Garla obtains some stealthy boots from the corpse of a hobgoblin. Oondul maintains his near-perfect record of failing to read spells, leaving Infravision as his only known spell.
Blaggerd. Blackguard 1. 14hp. 6 kills, Shoal the Nereid.
Garla. Swashbuckler 2. 16hp (*). 1 kills, Skeleton.
Slayer. Wizard Slayer 2. 23hp. 8 kills, Worg.
Klaer. Kensai 2. 29hp. 9 kills, Droth.
Mhoa. Cleric 1/ Ranger 1. 13hp. 5 kills, Tarnesh.
Oondul. Skald 2. 15hp. 4 kills, Ogrillion.
* : Took level before realising Max HP was enabled, playing at core difficulty.
Slayer picks up a gem bag after shooting down Neera (a Grond0'ism) to save her from a fate that would surely be worse than death.
Compassion, thy name is ... Blaggerd?!
Looks like great progress, Grond0! I hope you can keep it up...
Thanks Corey - so far, so good.
Grats and safe travels in Amn for thy alter-ego, Grond0! Keep an eye on him! (or should it be him to keep an eye on you..?
)
Agreed! I've always wanted to see your (Grond0's) wizard slayer/thief duals go far, but they always seem run across a cropper early in BG 2. No more repeats of history! Time for you to make new history and bash Melissan with this character!
