Final update for Odrelomp below.
Having completed nearly every task available, it was high time to set Sarevok straight. The party headed for Baldur's Gate, making ample use of the Nymph's Hair Cloak as well as a bunch of saved Charm person-scrolls to ensure we didn't have to gut any Flaming Fist while moving about (it is beneath Odrelomp to trudge through the sewers, after all).
Before doing anything else, the party stopped off at Sorcerous Sundries to pick up supplies (mostly Acid Arrows.. I love these! And some bullets + 2).
Having already ensured we had an optimal set of memorized spells, we immediately went after the assassins in the Undercellar. Expecting a tough fight (Slythe is actually quite deadly if left to roam free, even in Vanilla) we buffed to the hilt. We needn't have bothered. The party was in endgame mode and using all our lovely magical ammunition like there's no tomorrow, and Slythe simply couldn't withstand it for more than a few seconds

Krystin fared no better, she didn't even get off a Mirror Image (we naturally dispelled her invisibility)

No tears shed for scudsuckers such as these, thought Odrelomp and contemplated his next move. Pushovers or no, we had expended a fair few buffs preparing for the assassins, so a rest was in order (as well as reorganizing spell slots to prepare for the Duchal Palace fight). A quick rest at the Blushing Mermaid later, we're ready to proceed... (somewhere around here I saved the Duke as well. Damn cheating mercenaries.. clerics can't use longswords!)
We made our way to the Palace alright, then quietly snuck into the lower part of the room to prepare. Didn't bother with a ton of buffs this time, as the Dopplegangers aren't that difficult to hit. Of course we used the best ammunition available, and not wanting to fail at this late a stage, we brought a few friends to help protect the dukes. Sick 'em boys!

Needless to say, it was a bit overkill.. but in noreload, overkill is a good thing! Not to mention that for perhaps the first time ever, Liia actually survived the fighting

After beating Sarevok up a bit (or trying to.. I don't think I landed many hits, but maybe he grew bored of the veritable army of fodder he had to chew up), he of course teleports away and we swiftly follow. The "swiftly" part is metaphorical, as we make our way at an excrutiatingly slow pace through the Thieves' Maze. Dying here would be even more anticlimactic than failing to protect the dukes, so Imoen scouts ahead, checks for traps, the party follows.. Imoen goes ahead three steps and the process repeats. Since it was clear by now we had more charged items than we could possibly use up, we're not pulling any punches either in dealing with the denizens of the maze

Again deciding that overkill is the way to go, we make double sure the two Skeleton Warriors shooting Arrows of Ice won't be able to hurt us. Imoen starts off by invisibly disabling the traps nearby (4 in total), then we summon up a wall of critters and get to work. Strangely the warriors don't have that great resistance to ranged damage, so it works rather well. Although they manage to chew their way through one Animal Summoning 1 and two Monster Summoning 1 scrolls before they're put down...

A few traps and slimes later, and we're about to enter the lower city! Huzzah!

Deciding to give the poor Iron Throne mercs a reasonable chance, Odrelomp opts against mass Fireball into the fog of war - cheese and actually talks to the poor mercs. Unsurprisingly, they attack.
The druid gets taken out first with Khalid plinking away using Arrows of Biting(I remember her throwing around Call Lightning so naturally she's priority one). However, before Minsc can close the distance, one of the fighters has just enough time to fire a single Arrow of Detonation. Thankfully, Odrelomp has 60% fire resistance (ring + helm of defense) and suffers only minor damage

The fighter/mage is next to go, Minsc and Imoen in tandem bring him down without breaking a sweat

We then turn to the Mage, who for some odd reason decided that, despite already having one up, casting Mirror Image first was a good choice. She doesn't live long enough to cast a second spell

With all four threats neutralized (spellcasters dead and the fighter with Arrows of Detonation tied up in meele), the rest is mopup duty. The remaining three fighters fall swiftly

We now move towards the temple, and are accosted by Tamoko. Unfortunately she chooses to talk to Minsc, who, being as naturally charismatic and wise as your run-of-the-mill lawn ornament, is incapable of persuading her not to fight. I actually wanted to spare her.. pity. We ransack her corpse for the Full plate mail +1 and take up position outside the temple.
Deciding that a full set of spellslots is probably a good idea, we chance a rest. Not that there's much danger even if we get ambushed.. there's nothing down here but Undead of various shapes and sizes, and they react very badly to Odrelomp's divine aura (meaning he can now chunk most undeads with Turn Undead).
The rest goes off without a hitch, and it's into the temple we go... notice the double saves to prevent any possibility of losing this run to crashing. I'm rather paranoid about that.

Again playing it very safe, invisible Imoen is sent to disable the traps along the edges of the temple, given that we may have to retreat somewhere in the vicinity.
We skip the short-term buffs (Bless, Chant, Defensive Harmony) given that this fight can drag on a little. Odrelomp is fairly well protected anyway

Alright, the fat lady is singing and she's performing a funeral dirge for Sarevok. Odrelomp summons a few skeletons (24 to be precise.. doesn't hurt to be cautious!). Still invisible, Imoen creeps up and triggers Sarevok's little speech.
He doesn't engage after though.. but Semaj does. He Dimension Doors to the party's location! Wasn't really ready for this, but it's a pretty dumb move regardless. He's cut down by Acid Arrows before he can even get a spell off (the Malison was a contingency)

Once that is done, it's potions galore. I even have enough to give every fighter a Potion of Regeneration, should they have to engage in meele to tie Sarevok up. Unlikely but hey.
Notice Khalid's stats after some potions.. not too shabby. -3 THAC0, 3 APR (4 with Haste).. nice!

With Semaj out of the way, the odds are looking considerably better. Regardless, I allow myself a smidgeon of cheese and open up the battle with a Wand of Fire and 2x Necklace of Missiles. Not that it matters since they deal minimal damage (I think Sarevok took 6 damage from the barrage)

Sarevok comes out to play, intent on using Odrelomp's severed head as a football. However, he does so alone.. Tazok and Angelo apparently do not object to their glorious leader taking on the entire party singlehanded. Not so, thinks Odrelomp. While our skeletal friends keep Sarevok occupied, the rest of the party moves up to deal with the chronies.
Angelo falls first, after having his invisibility dispelled. Notice the fireball going off.. at first I thought Angelo had bugged and was firing Arrows of Detonation at pointblank range. It was only 5 fireballs later I realized I had equipped Khalid with the arrows

Fortunately I catch on in time to prevent him incinerating poor Minsc

Tazok follows Angelo to the grave within moments

Nothing but Sarevok standing in our way now! But he's really working his way through those skellies. Better be on the safe side...

Around here, I couldn't take screenies anymore.. not sure why. Anyway, as you can deduce, Sarevok's situation was pretty hopeless, and he falls within rounds of the last screenshot. Once again, everyone's favourite halfling cleric has saved the day! Much celebration and ale awaits, as does Shadows of Amn for our intrepid hero!
