Kroas, accompanied by Imoen, Jaheira, Khalid, Branwen and Quayle, returned to Beregost to deliver Miriannes letter, sell some gems and rings and travel further north to the FAI, to tell Landrin about him solving her spider problem.
In Beregost, the group met the bounty hunter Karlat, but he was commanded and killed. More importantly, on some random monsters corpse, Kroas found a "Summon Familiar"-scroll, which he used immediatly. He is now accompanied by Klio, a female pseudo-dragon.
On the road to FAI, the group finally got their revenge on the dread wolf, travelling further east to fight an ogre (put to sleep by Klio). However, HardTimes removed the belt of piercing.
In the area south of Beregost, the group ran into the wilderness at night, getting attacked by several groups of hobgoblins, gibberlings, ghouls and other enemies. While the group was able to take care of the situation with the help of some command spells and Klio, a gibberling killed Branwen in one hit. After the situation was cleared, the group found Zhurlongs boots in the posessions of some Hobgoblins. Kroas returned to the temple to ressurect Branwen and to Beregost to rest and give the boots to the halfling.
Next, the skald travelled southwest and met a chicken called Melicamp, some wolves and Zangal, Geltik + Malkax, three hobgoblins. They quickly were commanded and killed, and Kroas found a potion of fortitude and of healing (the +2 shortsword propably was removed by HardTimes).
At High Hedge, the group fought some skeletons and took a skull to Thalantyr, who successfully restored Melicamp. Also, some gnolls with Perdue's shortsword were defeated, and the group returned the item to its owner.
Further south-southwest, Kroas met Teyngan, Zekar and Jemby. Klio lured the mage to the group, and she was pierced with arrows and bullets while trying to cast a slow spell (she actually succceeded even though she died, so the group had to wait until it was over). Then, Kroas and friends attacked the remaining enemies.
The group also met Drizzt and assisted him with a sleep spell before running into a dangerous group of ogres (with an ogre berserker). Quayle used his sleep spells with success, and the group quickly went northwest to defeat Bjornins half-ogres before returning to Beregost, getting a shield +1 for Khalid.
Next time, more exploration is in order, especially around Nashkell.

After rest in Nashkel Band Of Six returned to Durlag's Tower, finished last level and confronted Demonknight himself. Preparation to the battle took more time then battle itself but I must be 100% ready - in two my previous no-reloads someone from the crew was killed or even chunked. Jaheira buffed only with Resist Fire/Cold faced Demonknight, after short dialog fight began. Demonknight dispelled Jaheira's buff, she immediately drunk potion of fire resistance (with ring and helmet her fire res is 110%) so next fireball was no threat but it was followed by Power Word: Stun and Jaheira was held and badly hurt (must be some Demonknight personal ability). Meanwhile our summons occupied Demonknight so Khalid with Coran quickly finished him:

Band returned to Ulgoth's Beard and eliminated local Cult. Now they obtained Sea Charts and ready for Werewolf Island.

@Enuhal, good start. I like your writing style with the text links. I was just complementing Anonymous-Hero on the same thing over on the BG2 thread.
@Serg and QED, good luck. QED, there's a feature in BG Tweaks where you can remove experience caps, and there's a "make BG2 scrolls available in BG1" in either Tweaks, or I think it might be in SCS. You can use the convenience changes in Sword Coast Strategems without any of the difficulty increases.

1) Go to your BG 1 directory, go to the SAVE folder, right click and left click copy your save who has the character you want to import
2) Go to your BG 2 directory, go to the SAVE folder and right click and paste
3) Now fire up SoA. Click New Single Player game, and this is the key step on the character creation screen you click Import. It will ask character file or saved game choose saved game. Now you select your saved game and your character is imported including whatever experience they accumulated in BG 1.

Thanks for the advice. I'll install the scroll tweak instead. I'm not so sure about the XP cap remover. I don't know how much experience I will end up getting, and I don't want to end up too powerful. Is there any mod that allows me to set a customized XP cap?

There is such mod called Ding0 Experience Fixer (or or DEF JAM, as it's otherwise known). You can find it on http://www.pocketplane.net/sim/ or just google it

There's always the option of not pressing the "Level Up" button. (That's assuming you just want to transfer BG1 experience earned to BG2. If you actually want to mitigate the EXP advantage of being solo, you'll want an EXP "fixer".)QED wrote...

Lone clerics are, unsurpisingly, no match for a party of druids. Bassilus didn't help himself by failing to protect himself from either fire or lightning:

He then failed his save against first Miscast Magic and then Summon Insects before being put out of his misery by Call Lightning:

Arande hit level 7 in that same area, and the rest of the party is not far behind. I spent 30k+ on several magic items plus potions and scrolls. I think we're ready for bandit camp now.

So Lotan the fighter continues his adventures with his fellow Bhaalspawn, Joshua the Paladin, Hanna the halfling cleric, and Paja the elven thief/mage.
We met an assassin at Friendly Arm Inn -- good thing he wasn't a FAI employee or we could complain about false advertising. Despite being level 1 we got qutie a few hits on him and he fell quickly. Paja of course grabbed his spells. I was ready to memorize them but wanted an intelligence potion to give better chance of memorization success. However that was 405 gold, and the party is a bit poor equipping 4 bhaalspawn. Somewhat surprisingly she successfully memorized all 6 spells she had. She is using the wizard's ring we found, but even with that she still can only cast 2 spells a day. She's been wearing studded leather a lot of the time since her magic a bit irrelevant, except for her identify spell we use at inns, which we have used extensively to save money and because no one has good lore (leader's note: should probably have put more stats into WIS than STR for Paja to get a better lore score, but wasn't thinking about that).
As we are a good party (mostly) we returned Joia's ring for her. We decided to investigage Nashkel and headed south. In Beregost, we calmed Marl down, but then Paja claimed he gaver her the evil eye, so we ended up killing him after all. As it was no trouble, we gave the mage across the street from Feldepost's inn a book he wanted. We decided we would pass on the spiders for now - a level one group can do it without casualty as long as each member has an antidote. We couldn't afford 4 of them yet. In one of the inns we met Karlat. He had trouble hitting Joshua, and the party made him try to flee in terror. But he couldn't as Hanna had entangled him. He fell shortly thereafter.
So we headed south but got attacked by 2 ogrillions. We went back to Beregost to give Marianne the news. She was happy and gave us a +1 ring. We wasted no time and spent time at an inn to identify it and gave to Lotan. We continued our journey and met a flaming fist mercenary and claimed we were bandits. We thought it was just a ruse so battled him - the ID on him indicated he was really flaming fist. Oops. Well, we gave his plate mail to Joshua, he could certainly use. Few more hobgoblin, human and kobold bandits we met on the way down. The party took them down without casualty, but had use our healing spells and potions.
We finally get to Nashkel and find Ankheg armor. We gave to Joshua, and gave his plate mail to Lotan. Next we met an assassin named Neira. When we saw her we suspected trouble, so the party scattered, and Joshua met her. Sure enough she was hostile - we had a lot of trouble hitting her (level 1 Thac0), but thankfully Paja's wand of missiles (Imoen's parting gift) had no trouble hitting Neira and killed her before she could serious hurt a held Joshua.
After selling Neira's junk and the bandit junk we collected on the journey to Nashkel we finally have enough to get 4 andtidotes. We purchase them from the Nashkel Temple and head back to Beregost to deal with those spiders. Joshua got poisoned once, Paja cast a sleep which worked on a couple, and we were successful.. We reported the news to Landrin and got some of our money back that we spent in andtidote potions.
We decided next we would clear the road areas from FAI to Nashkel, starting with the one by FAI. We met an ogre here with a belt fetish, and thanks to a successful command by Hanna, he fell without incident.
We eventually clear the road areas without further incident, unless you count Joshua leveling up an incident. (leader's note: Joshua got just 6 HP from his level up - pretty mediocre for a paladin with max CON). We get to the Nashkel carnival and meet an exploding ogre as part of the show, who eventually turned on his master. Joshua has -4 AC at this point, and the ogre also got commanded by Hanna, so that spelled his doom. We went inside a tent and found a rather aggressive mage - with remove fear, things weren't too bad though he did get an acid arrow (or maybe 2?) on Lotan. Massive healing had to ensue, Bhaal power, cleric heal and paladin heal and a potion, but Lotan survived. Now Paja can wear a robe, and she was the last character to level.
We will finish exploring the carnival area, then Nashkel mines surface area will be next.

The party has cleared all the areas most southern on the map (except the interior of the Nashkel Mine). Some highlights:
* Greywolf Battle - This battle didn't go so well as Joshua got killed. However, Lotan switched to his "excellent" two hand sword and got 2 great hits in, including one critical of 20 damage and saved the day. Hanna even got level 3 from the fight.
* First ambush - in our first ambush of the game we got some good news - Lotan levels to 3 and he also got a whopping 14 HP from the level up putting his HP at 37.
* Poor Paja levels the slowest as she is multi-class. However, she can do one thing the rest of us can't - level twice with the same kill. She got to level 2 mage and level 3 thief.
* Killing some trash gnolls at the gnoll fortress Joshua got level 3 and just 8 HP off the level up. Though I guess that is better than his 6 he got last level.
The party is doing A-okay so far. Lotan definitely seems to be getting most of the kills (44% of all kills).

Good luck! Stalkers should be solid in BG1, even though they will never improve their backstab under the level cap. They should backstab more effectively than thieves during most of BG1.

Upon returning from Candlekeep, Syroluin immediately started to investigate Sarevok’s activities. Thanks to Tamoko and Husam, he learned about Sarevok’s allies. Syroluin secretly entered Flaming Fist base and saved duke Eltan from false healer. Next, he visited Undercellars and defeated two Night Masks Krystin and Slythe. In the Iron Throne estate, he killed Cythandria and obtained Sarevok‘s diary. For battle in ducal palace, Syroluin summoned some monsters and buffed himself with Haste. He dispelled protections of attacking Doppelgangers and killed them. Sadly only duchess Liia Jannath survived the attack.

Syroluin continued in the hunt for Sarevok. He cleared Thief Warrens from monsters and removed all traps.

In the Undercity, he defeated mercenary party and Tamoko.
To confine Sarevok in the temple of Bhaal, Syroluin summoned Jaheira, Khalid, Dynaheir, Minsc and Imoen and let them guard the entrance.

Syroluin himself is currently travelling to Ulgoth’s Beard.

After returning a ring to Mirianne we sneak up on boots (level 2, 19hp).

Then we look for a second pair in Ulcaster (before remembering they are tidied up with EasyTutu).
Tenygan is not pleased when his mage is backstabbed, I'm annoyed when my sword breaks against his hobgoblin. I need three blue potions and a healing spell to outlast him.
Following a suggestion I dump Imoen and recruit Kivan then Viconia.

I give Jaheira a tour of the FAI kitchens before encumbering her with three sets of splint armour and departing with Khalid. His first task is to fight / run from Greywolf. I have done one backstab but fail to hide twice, leaving Kivan to finish the bounty hunter off with an arrow.
We sort out Caldo and Krumm before moving on to Nashkel mine. It looks to be trapped so with my tail between my legs I grovel to Imoen to re-join us. She calls me an old rumjake fool (better than a buffle head I guess) and sets to work. We leave her guarding the entrance to Mulaheys hide-out.
Viconia makes a mockery of my backstab.

Khalid hits him then I kill him. There is time for one more backstab before we leave.

We dump Imoen outside the exit (reminder in case I need her again). Back in Nashkel we inform Berrun Ghastkill the mine is back in business then realise we've been Nimbul'd.

Tranzig is next. Once more my backstab is slow compared to other attacks.

Forgot to mention my install. EasyTutu, core difficulty, on Ubuntu/Wine.

Lotan the human fighter (used most of the time like an archer), Joshua the human paladin, Hanna the halfling cleric, and Paja the elven thief/mage continue their adventures.
* We explored an area where Drizzt was. Lots of gnolls, some ogres and ogrillions, plus your standard hobgoblins. The potentially hard battle with the mage, archer, and melee was solved nicely by a successful hold person on the melee and a successful silence. And some more good news, Hanna made level 4..
* In "Ogre Country", the area at the far west, not far from the gnoll fortress, the party continued its battles. Thanks to a necklace of missiles purchase, two potentially tough battles (bridge with hobgoblin elites and 2 ogre berserkers) and a bandit with 5 hobgoblin archers was cleanly won. Joshua is -6 AC with girdle of bluntness and full plate so he's tough to hit anyways. But in any case good news Lotan made level 4. He got 11 HP off his level up puts him at 48 HP. I'm happy with his HP gains so far.
* High Hedge turned out to be pretty nice level wise - Joshua made level 4 and gained 12 HP putting his HP at 41. This is reasonable, though not the best. Fighting the spiders and ghouls by that abandoned house put Paja at level 3 mage/level 4 thief. I now feel good enough for the mines and its aftermath.
* We tried to rescue Melicamp, but Thalantyr failed to save him (leader's note: think I am pretty unlucky - the past 6 runs or so Melicamp has died every time.)
The party will investigate the Nashkel Mines next.
