Hi there,

Long time player first time topic writer...

I´m wondering if its only me that has a problem using the good old KOTOR game on the Xbox 360?

My specific problem is that the game is compressed at the sides when I play the game... That is, there are black stripes there as if the game was played on a 4:3 TV and not Widescreen 2.35:1 as it should be, or shouldnt it?

I´m I the only one with this problem?

Ohh... and sometimes the picture goas away completly, but I can still hear the voices from the caracters.

Kind Regards
Jeedi

I also had problems with KotOR on 360 so I'm just playing it on my old XBox now. Backwards compatibility never works completely right.

My old Xbox is burnt and dead... and I´m getting a the new Slim version tomorrow... hope it will work better on that one...

But did you also have a "split" screen or what you may call it so that the game looked like it was shown as a 4:3 movie?

Unfortunately running KoTOR on the 360 causes bugs and I have the slim and used to have the original. The thing is also KoTOR came out way before we had high def televisions and 1080p and things like that. So your game will play with the black bars on either side as if it was being played on an old CRT television and not the flat screen HD televisions.

As for the picture going away that is also a problem with running it on the 360. The thing is you are running an emulator on the 360 to play original xbox games. No fix for it.

I had a problem while playing KOTOR II on the Xbox 360. Nothing like what is discribed here, but when I tried to play it on the 360, it would sometimes make this loud screeching noise every 2 minutes. No idea what caused THAT. I just play it on my original Xbox now...
