I'm getting strange freezes during combat, but only in DLC content (Zaeed's loyalty mission and the Geth Cannon fight in Project Overlord so far - haven't played through the others yet).  The game will run for the first few seconds of a combat, then freeze.  Sound continues to play normally (background music, environmental noise, isolated gun shots on occasion).  A few minutes later, the screen blanks, goes to the Windows desktop, and then back into the game.  It will play for a few seconds more, then freeze again.  This process repeats until I give up in frustration and load a save prior to starting the mission in question or I manage to stick it out through the fight.  Once out of combat, there are no freezing problems.

After some investigating, I discovered that my nVidia drivers are crashing, and Windows 7 recovers and reloads them (which is probably why I can get back into the game).  I have tried lowering the resolution, disabling graphics features, running windowed - nothing seems to have any mitigating effect.

Any ideas on what might be causing this?  I've played through most of the original content thus far with zero problems of any kind, so it seems unlikely that I have any hardware or configuration issues.

All of the DLC's I have were installed prior to starting my current game, and I'm not using any mods, cheats, trainers, or other game-changing stuff.  All of my drivers are up to date.

AMD Athlon X2 4200
GeForce 8800GT
4 GB ram
Windows 7 x64

Am having similar probs but now crashes are occuring throughout since I downloaded Aegis pack. If anyone knows the solution to this would be very grateful!
