i hope they have a multiplayer like dungeon siege one, where you can pick between a human, dwarf, or elf to play as and you can go into the world, group up w/ others and kill stuff. who else would be interested in this???

Obsidian are developing Dungeon Siege 3. Buy that. Sadly DA cannot be all things to all gamers. Let Bioware concentrate on a Single-Player experience, it will be a better game for it.

oh well... i guess i won't get to kill sh!+ w/ other dragon age fans
unless they come out with another game in the dragon age universe where there's multiplayer.
i'm skeptical about dungeon siege 3 though... i tried out the 2nd one and didnt like it. and obsidian hasn't made a game i've liked since KOTOR:2 and the only one i liked before that was morrowind. i didn't like fall out 3 or oblivion.

It is really sad there is no multiplayer in this still. Guess the time of old-school multiplayer games are over.
Now its all about shallow MMO's....

Really? I can't honestly name a cRPG in Dragon Ages style that has seen a good multiplayer treatment other than NWN series and even then I found the implementation clumsy.

Multiplayer...Hmm, no. A system that perhaps might have worked would have been if other players control your party NPCs but personally, Im glad that Bioware have said no to Multiplayer, I dont play well with others. ("Hey that was MY killing blow! What? No you cant have a share of the gold!")

Meh, I'd rather a good single player game over some half-assed game with a multiplayer component.

maybe MMOs have just changed my life so much (with their grouped player gameplay) that single players just don't have the same appeal as they used to

To soon. Lets get the singleplayer down pat, then we'll talk of multiplayer.

Oh look its back again well let me say what I always say when this thread pops up I'd rather have a good, innovative, replayable single player story rather than some half assed game that make single play take a back seat to a COD style noob multiplayer hub.
