Honestly, the game looks to be shaping up well and from the information we have recieved, it seems that this game will take a much more in-depth cinematic experience.

The graphics are my only worries (slightly)...the armor and equipment looks improved, but the darkspawn look seems...not so good. However, these are most likely pre-alpha screens, so I'm sure the look isn't final.

I actually enjoy a voiced character; my favorite part of the entire game being the whole "ten year story".

lol I was expecting another whiner. Glad to see that u r not 1 of them. :)

Anyway the game is really shaping up, and I'm sure that the graphics will be improved. Theres no point to TEST the game in full graphic.

I am a little worried about the whole game. I mean I loved DA:O so much it is hard to accept that a sequel will move into a different direction [from Baldur's Gate to Mass Effect XD]. I have never played Baldur's Gate or any other old school RPG [in fact the first RPG and the first Bioware game i played was Mass Effect] but I really liked DA:O. I liked it's story I liked it's gamplay I liked it characters but above all I liked MY Warden. And that is what worries me. My Warden was me. And Hawke is a pre written character. I understand I will make the decisions, and I will influence his personality but I won't be that reletad to him/her as I was to my Warden. I also don't like that there wont be origin stories and I can't choose Hawke's race but... oh well I will have to live with that. Still I will buy DA2. I hope it will be as good as DA:O.
ps.: I have no problem with the new art style. I kinda like it. Maybe Dragon Age 2 will be good in a different way then DA:O was. Or even better...

The only thing I'm worried about now is Darkspawn. I want my awesome awakened darkspawn to make evil plots and fail miserably cause they end up getting TK'd.

Yeah, so far it doesn't seem to be too bad. Sure, there might be some limited customization options, but overall, you still get to shape your character. I also like the fact that it takes place away from Ferelden.

Yes after two games [possible three if we get another expansion pack] it will be a nice change to be away from Ferelden. After all Thedas has a lot more places to explore. But I wonder what this place would be. Somthing already mentioned like Antiva or the Tevinter Impirium or something new what we never heard of before.

I think we can say that, in general, people who preferred the voiced, cinematic style of play of Mass Effect will applaud the changes, while those who prefer a first person, traditional RPG will...not. While there is crossover, there seems to be two distinct groups of Bioware fans, wanting different styles of game. That seems like a good thing to me, and a way to reach a broader audience. Both types of game are well done, but I only play one of them, personally. I'd prefer that the two styles remain separate, rather than merge.
