NWN1 and NWN2 Mac version forum sections are gone again. Not to start a platform ware here (yes, there were some posts!), just a friendly reminder. <_<

I'd like to also chime in and say that we do need a Mac section. Can someone please do this for us? We'll need one for NWN1 and another for NWN2 if possible please?

NwN 2: Technical Support (Self Help for all versions and expansions)



Game play and expansion specific information will be in their respective forums and the primary differences between the Mac and PC versions will pretty much end up as a Technical Support post.



Sorry guys, that's the official word at this point in time.

I am surprised that more of the old detritus wasn't skipped.  They preserved more forum names than I expected, by a wide margin.  What makes me happiest  is getting rid of the atrociously bad color schemes that both NWN1 & NWN2 had!

The vast majority of technical issues are Windows specific issues. Mac players have issues with patching, installation, running under emulators, etc. that are not specifically technical issues and will get buried under the thousands of posting about incompatible PC video cards.



It is a real disservice to the Macintosh community not to have Mac specific forums.



If there are not Mac specific forums then I for one will not participate here.



Whoever made this entirely stupid decision needs to rethink it and do the right thing.

I have to agree that it's not a very kind gesture to the Mac users (whom I hear have quite a few distinct problems with running NWN2) to leave out the forums. They should put them back.

Can't we simply make a Mac Sticky Topic for Technical Issues in the Tech Support Forums? Wouldn't that do the trick? I'm all for equality of posting fairness, but it's kind of out of my hands. I can do stuff like a dedicated MAC Users Sticky Topic or Two, though. I can do that.

If it isn't a subforum then I don't see the benefit of a sticky or two.  A sticky giving the link of the forum I've created at nwn2mac.freeforums.org would probably be of benefit.
