Interesting. Very interesting. See, the thing I found most interesting in Origins was the Landsmeet, civil war, and politics of Ferelden. The in-fighting and the bickering and corruption made the world so much realer and far more fascinating than the Blight and the Archdemon. It was a personal problem in a sense, one created by and inflicted on Men, rather than this alien, evil concept of the Blight.

DA2 is shaping up to be quite interesting if they're steering away from the normal "fight-against-epic-evil" fantasy plot and into more personal waters. I'm quite curious to see where the story goes.

There are other things you can do aside from saving the world-- as plenty of people griped back when Origins was announced. Not doing one of those three things doesn't mean Hawke is sitting around painting his toenails.

Can this be Hawke's theme song? Can it start playing in the background when we first see him? Like, Hawke is slowly walking away from the camera while Lothering is burning and the darkspawn are swarming behind him, then the quirky and super awesome music starts playing, and the the camera zooms into a circle around Hawke's face and he winks at the audience? It could be like this: hippiekiller.files.wordpress.com/201/01/super_wink1.jpg   And then Hawke and his sister jump and high five into the sunset, ending in a freeze frame.

Dragon Age 2 could very well be awesome. I like the departure from the standard fare of fantasy games.

I happen to recall an old Super Nintendo game that had given the main character the nickname Hawk... and it turned out that "Hawk" was in fact a man-made cyborg version of Jesus Christ.



So, I'll just assume this famous, country changing, superpowerful (even among humans) person who seems to have Old God powers from the trailer is Bioware's version of Jesus Christ.



Although... they already seemed to imply that with the Return to Ostagar DLC for a certain corpse you find there.
