So what are you guys and gals hoping for. I just hope it's not a cinematic trailer, and we actually see real game play footage.

Tough call. I'd like to see gameplay, but...

Bioware just does awesome cinematic trailers.

Something that reveals the story of the game, instead of something that just says "DA2 is coming". Some gameplay would be nice, but I'd prefer some story info.

cinematic. gameplay would propably be boring to watch at this stadium, besides, pc user already know very much so it propably just would be a "combat on consoles" trailer.

Ya ... but i'm thinking that IF male Hawke's voice is indeed in the trailer.. they should reveal female Hawke's VA shortly after due to public outcry? maybe?

They can't make us wait a whole month and just give us a teaser. I expect a full blown trailer with a hint of the story, stupendous scenery, awesome music, in-game graphics and Hawkes voice in a final statement shouting... We are going to need bigger guns!*

I also expect my pants to get wet.

I'm wondering if they can beat the original 'Sacred Ashes' trailer. I think can they can, because so far the only trailer I didn't like from BioWare was the launch trailer for Awakening.

All the others for their games are just epic.

It seems very early for anything but a cinematic trailer, and just last week, David Gaider said they hadn't even made decisions about possible companions. I suspect this will be a cinematic trailer dealing only with known characters--Hawke and his sister--maybe some NPCs....

Some nice cinematics mixed with some gameplay. Add some some epic music, show some potential party members and maybe a swerve on the story to tease us or put us off track and it will be perfect.

As an aside, is anyone else planning on avoiding most of the trailers for the game? I felt that a lot of the trailers for ME2 and Dragon Age told too much about the characters. I mean, it certainly wasn't spoilery and there was lots to still find out but I didn't really like knowing who each party member was because I saw the trailer. (I'd rather find it out during the game)



I'm probably only going to watch the debut trailer and the launch trailer. (Although I'll consider watching gameplay demos if they come out with any)

For a start, the NPCs in the trailer can actually look like the NPC's ingame (for better or for worse).

If its a cinematic trailer I'd prefer they'd stick to a fantasy style score (no metal).

Yes, I watched many videos of DAO before it was released and in hindsight I really wish I hadn't. Especially having watched the character videos, it took some of the fun of discovery out of the game.

That said, I'd still like to see some actual game footage in the trailer. Pre-rendered FMV just doesn't impress me anymore, it hasn't since the early 00s.

No way. I'll be watching the footage like a starving man at a buffet after being stranded on a deserted island for a year.

Well, I avoided Awakening trailers because I knew I was going to buy it. This time, not so much. I'll be looking at them to see if I'm interested.

i want an even more EPIC cinematic than "the ashes one"!!! and i want to hear what HAWKE sounds like. it'd be TOO KOOL if he sounded just like me!!!

I'm expecting fully cinematic since the graphics look to be in such an early state, although I suppose anything's possible. It probably won't tell us too much though.

Remember the ME2 trailer came out in last year E3 which was in June, and ME2 launched in late January. The trailer was pretty good, and it was only 7 months before the game came out.
